Duran's Extreme Clean

Description of Work: They cleaned my den and bedroom carpet as well as a smaller rug in one bedroom. I would prefer to use someone who does steam cleaning rather than the chemical cleaning. Josh (or his sister) sprayed the carpet with the chemical and the cleaning depends on their spraying all areas of the carpet which is not always done as they have to spray using a fine nozzle sprayer and go from side to side. Not all areas actually get sprayed. Also, the actual cleaning machine in the photo shows one with a smaller head that can get between furniture. The one he used is very large and does not get between things. Josh did manually try to clean those areas but I think that he should have used a different machine with a smaller head. I think the carpet is cleaner than before Josh cleaned it. |I was surprised when Josh asked me to pay for 'taxes' but was going to have me write the check to him personally. I wrote the check to Duran's Extreme Clean and not to him personally. I had thought I had paid for all of it on Angie's list. |Josh was vey nice. If he used a different cleaning process, I would use him again, but am not convinced that chemical cleaning is the way to go.

Description of Work: Nobody ever contacted us. I finally called them and he said he had problems getting stuff from Angie's list. We made an appointment for the next Monday Morning. I moved all the furniture and nobody came. When I called, they said it was that evening. Then at noon I got an email saying he had to cancel because of a family emergency. I haven't heard from them since and my furniture is still all moved, making spaces unusable. Finally, we found another provider.

It went well except for some stains they said they could not get out, but didn't try spot cleaning. |They charged for the very small rug. |On arrival they tried up selling which was not explained when the appointment was made.

Description of Work: I ordered up the carpet cleaning through Angie's List, talked to Duran and scheduled an appointment. He didn't show up. I emailed and phoned numerous times. No response. And yet the company remains as a "deal" on Angie's List. Some deal. Be warned.

Description of Work: I really didn't want to clean our carpeting, just wanted to get rid of it after 20 years of people and dogs; But ran out of time before holiday guests so took advantage of an Angies big deal with Durans. The owner came and cleaned our carpeting so well I started thinking I could put up with it for another couple of years! best carpet cleaning job ever for us. Much attention to detail..closets, corners, etc, and old stains removed that I thought were there for good. Highly recommend!!

Description of Work: I gave Angies list all my payment information, and Duran's called me and set up an appointment, saying they didn't really mean for their offer to include Santa Fe, so they'd charge me an additional $20 for travel, which i agreed to, then they didn't show up or call so I called them and got a recording that their "systems were down" whatever that meant and to leave a message, and they'd call back to reschedule, but they never did. As far as i could tell no charge came through on my bank account, but the lack of professionalism bothered me...seems since I signed up thru Angie's list they could have gotten my contact info from Angie's...No show, no call, I called no call back - disappointing and annoying. Clearly they didn't really want my business.

Description of Work: We have waiting for Joshua to show up for over an hour. Have called twice but goes straight to voicemail. Left a message the 1st time. Great inconvenience due to the fact takes a lot of effort to get the house ready for rug cleaning. When the appointment was set, he answered the phone right away. What's with this guy? Description of Work: We had a miscommunication on the original date of service, but the owner came on time on the rescheduled date. He's a very nice young man that seems to be trying hard to build a reputable business. In addition to the 3 rooms that were included in the original deal, he did 2 additional rooms and our stairs for $45. I thought it was a fair price. This company is using a new product to clean carpets. It was very quiet relative to other methods, but worked as well as any carpet cleaner we have ever used and it dries much faster.

Description of Work: I actually did not want to write this piece from a place of anger, so I waited 13 days to write, as my desire is to give constructive information in assisting a company become more conscious about doing honest and professional work. I asked for a professional carpet cleaning list from Angie's List and this was far from professional as one could imagine. When he informed me he was done, I saw no furniture had been moved to clean underneath, so I began to move them so he could finish his work. Then there was cat hair balls left on the various carpet areas and he mentioned that I could just vaccumn it after he left. As I felt the carpet, their was no moisture on the carpet as other carpet cleaners have cleaned my carpets in the past. What did he use then ? I saw him spray the carpet with a 3 gal. tank sprayer. A couple days later I was outside in the front area and saw in the gravel area dumped carpet fibers and debris from the carpet cleaning. This was not what I was looking for in getting my carpets cleaned at all. He did offer to do the hallway for free after quoting me 20.00- DK

Description of Work: Provider cleaned the carpet in four rooms. Provider graciously rescheduled for my convenience and arrived on time. The work was completed quickly and I was satisfied. Note: the machine used is rather wide, which means it does not get into small corners or spaces. This was not an issue for me.
