Same as above. I did not use this contractor as he did not call when told he would with an estimate of cost.

I called Discount Sprinklers after I could not shut off an outside water faucet and had been having trouble with another faucet. They responded immediately.

They fixed my sprinkler system within a couple hours and were very professional ..

I noticed that some of my plants were dying and water was pooling in some areas. I called Discount Sprinklers because of their excellent rating on Angie's List. Jorge came out promptly and was able to diagnose the problem right away, which was not easy since he had to remove a lot of gravel to find the leak. The system was fixed and everything is working properly. I would definately recommend this company for any irrigation work.

The man came over and he quickly assessed the situation and he noticed that there was a broken pipe. We made an appointment. The younger guy that came out to do the work was not very thorough. He was not totally experienced like I was expecting. I cannot say that it was their fault, or any fault at all it's just that I have a few doubts. I had to probe him to see if everything was working right and check the dripper system. I asked him to go over every individual thing. He was nice in doing what I asked him to do after I asked him about these issues. Maybe it is just me, or maybe it was not required to be that thorough. It seems like everything is going good, and the grass is growing well. I know that the sprinklers are going off at 7pm and everything seems to be working. There is one area that is not getting any water, but there is not a dipper there, and I am not sure if I should have a new one added there. I just assumed that you could not add a dripper there, I should ask them about this situation next time I talk with them.

I thought they were fine. I don't know how to compare them to anyone else because I haven't had work like that in a long time. We had a bit of a mix-up about the time so they came late on Friday. I think they were just busy and overwhelmed but I don't know if it was worse than anyone else would have been. They were responsive and they tried hard to solve our issue. They didn't leave until 7:00 pm on Friday because they were so busy. I didn't call anyone else because they were highly rated on Angie's List and my neighbors thought the price was reasonable. I think the work they did was fine because the sprinklers work now. There was just one thing that they said they would do that they forgot, but they didn't charge me for it.

They are very professional and show up when they say they will. They have a supervisor come out and analyze what needs to be done. He then schedules an appointment for when one of the technicians comes out. Everybody shows up and does their job. They are very professional and I put them at the top of the heap. I don't think they are the cheapest, but I have no proof of that. I called them about 3 weeks after the project because one of the sprinklers wasn't working. They sent someone out there that day and performed the adjustment I needed. I will use them again in the future.

They seemed very efficient. They came out quickly. They completed the job in a timely manner. They were professional. Overall, they were wonderful. I would use them again in the future.

Rudy (owner) came out as soon as I called to give me an estimate. He was very pleasant and informative. He assessed the situation, gave me his recommendation and an estimate for the job. His workers were late on the day they were to arrive due to finishing up another job, but they still came out late in the day and completed the work in 1 1/2 hours. They did an excellant job and were very pleasant to deal with. They were very careful as to not harm the many new small plants in that area which required particular attention. Rudy sent me out a bill for the amount of the estimate. I am very pleased with the outcome and would work with them again.

I liked that Discount Sprinklers got the job done without me having to be there. They left the bill under my front mat. They were very nice and professional. I will use them again this June to re-do our entire sprinkler system.

The technician was curtious and knowledgable. I was pleased with how quickly he solved the problem. Also I like that they take credit cards.

They had a 20% discount coupon and had advertised it on Angie's List. I have been using them every month. Their price was reasonable. They were not always on time and came out whenever they wanted to. They got the job done. They did a good job. They have been coming once a month at the beginning of the month because I did not have anything set with them. I was usually not aware as to when they would come.

I decided to have the main water line replaced, although a substantial amount more costlier than just a repair, was the best option for me. I did not want to have to deal with potential future breaks, which would most likely occur with polybutylene installed. Discount Sprinklers installed a quality product for the replacement of the pipeline, which is being used by home builders today, and analyzed the best option for install. In my case, they went under the existing driveway and dug a trench in the front lawn (which was going to be covered with rock) and ran the line to the house. There are absolutely no visible signs of where they trenched and I feel confident in the work performed. Athough an extremely busy time for Discount Sprinklers, they scheduled the repair work for the very next day. They made all the arrangements contacting the utility companies and made every effort to make the situation as doable as possible during the time the water needed to be shut off. The fellows worked diligently and professionally and got the job done in a day. I will admit...I was a little concerned about a lawn irrigation company replacing a main line water break...but I would hire and recommend this company in a heartbeat to do any type of irrigation/repair work. This is a top notch company and truly works for the customer! I will definitely be calling them when I need additional work done...backyard, here we come!

I have a 35 yr old house and over the years previous owners have added cable lines all over the outside walls. One cable in particular always bugged me because it ran down from the ceiling to the ground right next to my sliding door (very ugly). I decided to cut it out one day thinking it was an unused cable TV wire. Turns out it was for my underground sprinkler system! I found Discount Sprinklers on Angie's List and called. They came out the next day to give me an estimate. $225 for my stupid mistake! Two days later, they came out to do the job. They were very quick and efficient and tested my system thoroughly before declaring the job done. In the process, they noticed an unusual amount of water flowing from the base of a raised garden bed surrounding a tree in my front yard. They dug down to investigate and discovered a leaking underground pipe caused by a tree root. They asked me if I wanted them to repair it and just as I said yes, they received an emergency call from the office. Even so, they stayed long enough to find the leak, cut the pipe (which was buried about 18 inches deep), and cap it before leaving for the emergency call. They came back 2 days later to finish the job. They had not closed my bill from the wiring job until they determined the combined total for the work. They finished the work even though we were not home and left the bill for us to mail in the payment. They put the bricks back around the garden (although they did a poor job and I had to re-do it) and cleaned up after themselves. Although I thought the wiring work was over-priced, they charged a reasonable amount for the pipe work, considering that was unplanned and they had to come back to complete the work. Overall, I'm pleased with the work they did and company itself.

I found a leak in my drip irrigation so I called Discount Sprinklers, whom I've used before. They asked me when it was convenient for me to make the appointment. They came 2 days later, earlier than my scheduled appointment. By the time I got there, they had already fixed the problem. They were very professional and thorough.

I was able to use an Angie's List coupon with them. He was very nice, professional, and informative. He was so good that I decided to have a monthly service with him. He'll trim the trees, rake the yard, and things like that.

On the morning of 6/8 we arrived at our newly purchased house to discover a sprinkler zone was stuck and had been running all night and flooding the back of our lot. I called Angie's List and asked for a recommendation. I called Discount Sprinklers and the owner Rudy sent Lonnie and an assistant who arrived quickly from Albuquerque. They had the water off and the broken valve replaced quickly and then checked the rest of the system at my request. Lonnie returned in a few days and replaced another leaking valve that would have caused even greater damage since it was close to the well. They also installed a new faucet and did other minor repairs. Lonnie was very patient and showed us how to adjust the sprinkler heads and taught us how to adjust the timer. Lonnie was very efficient, professional, and friendly.

I told them that the other quotes I received were too high, at $65.00 an hour. The man I spoke with told me that his technicians were around $35.00 an hour. A man came out and did 3 hours of work and they ended up charging at about $72.00 per hour. I didn't realize the difference in price until after the work was complete. It is not very professional to quote one price over the phone and then charge an entirely different price on the bill. The entire time the man was here working, the boss kept calling and telling him he needed to leave and work on another job. It was not the technician's fault, he was very good.

The two man team worked well. Built new manifold system, removed the old system, connected the new valve manifold to the supply line, two sprinkler feeds and outdoor spigot, tied in the new electric lines from the valves to the timer control box, mounted the timer control box when we had easy access to it, cleaned up. They provided a through explaination of how to operate the controls, provided the manuals for the timer and made sure we understood that they were available if we had problems. The entire process took a little more than two hours. Definitely would hire again. The final cost was about $30.00 under the verbal estimate.

The person who came seemed very knowledgeable about the sprinklers and made several adjustments. After he was through, the sprinklers worked much better. All in all, I was very pleased.

We had a real problem arise in the work. However, I give Rudy and his crew a lot of credit for making it right. They went to a lot of extra work to fix everything better than new, and took complete responsibility and did the right thing. In this day and age we don't see that very often, so I give Rudy really high marks here. On the job, they did some extra things just because it made sense to, like replace the pipe on my automatic pool fill even though it was not part of the original quote.
