The technicians were right on time, they told us exactly what procedures they follow for pet stains, and they were meticulous about cleaning every area. As a bonus, they cleaned an area rug in the livingroom (a 5x7) while they were waiting for the enzymes to work. Throughout their time in our home, they were polite and helpful. Highly recommended!

+ -1 moreDamcare really cares about doing a quality job. They are always on time, they clean well, don't leave a mess,and are cautious with my house and furniture. I was impressed taht they put protectors on the corners of my walls so that their cleaning tubes wouldn't scratch them. They don't leave the carpet soaking wet- it usually dries in less than 6 hours. They always squeeze me in if I have a sudden stain or unexpected company. I have used them exclusively for at least 4 years. Their prices are about 10-15% higher than what I had paid before, but after I saw the quality of their service, I never looked back.

+ -1 moreOur carpet guy had disappeared. We had family coming in. It was about $15 more than we were used to paying but they did about $50 more work, so it paid out! We had some berber carpet coming up, unraveling. The guy put the loops back on by hand. We signed up for a multiple user discount that they had going on at the time, so we signed up and loved it! They gave me my Angie's List discount too. The price, I feel, we were right on the money. I would say we got a better deal. Everybody else I called were giving us days out and they were the only one who said they would have someone there in a few hours. They even showed up early. I can't say enough good things about them.
Description of Work: They brought in the industrial vacuum, revacuumed the house. They helped me slide stuff around that wasn't moveable. They steam cleaned our house, 1400 square feet, and did spot care. They had different fans, I hadn't seen them before. But when they left, the floor was dry, period. With the other guy, we had to walk around with sandals for the next day, day and half, or else we got our feet wet.

+ 0 moreMarcos and Mike arrived earlier than scheduled and went to work as a team immediately and continued for several hours. They were very courteous, polite and professional the entire time, and went "above and beyond" what other carpet cleaners would have done, particularly when Marcos patched a "hole" in the carpet around a doorway, that was so obvious, on his own. What a surprise ... and to clean a stuffed Panda bear, too!! I will only have this team do any future cleaning again.
Description of Work: Marcos & Mike arrived ealier than scheduled, but that was fine with me as I had arrived home earlier than anticipated, so I called David in the office to say that the carpet cleaners did not have to wait untile the scheduled time. I had initially planned on having the air ducts cleaned and the carpet and some large area rugs shampooed, but after Marcos' initial inspection of the work, he noticed that there was a significant "buckle" in the carpet and asked if I had thought about having the carpet re-stretched to even-out the carpet. I replied positively and asked about the cost and whether I would have to set up a different appointment for this work. Marcos stated that he could do it in a half-hour and game me a price which was very reasonable. While Mike cleaned the ducts, Marcos set out to stretch out the kink in the carpet, which he cut out a large piece; he even found an area around a doorway where the carpet was damaged/missing, and proceeded to use some spare carpet to repair this! This made the "eye sore" disappear, and I didn't even ask him to do it. In addition, I asked whether a huge stuffed panda bear could be cleaned, and what a miracle ~ Marcos was able to get it looking brand new! The dry cleaners stated they couldn't do it as it was too big and heavy and may damage their machine. I had some very soiled areas on the carpet, including where the "kink" was since I had workmen going in and out of the house during some remodeling work, and when Marcos was done, the capet looked great. He stated that they guarantee their work and so after the carpet dries, if the spots return, they would be willing to come back out to try to clean the stubborn stains again. Marcos and Mike worked for several hours and did a great job as a team; in the future, when I make another appointment, I would prefer to have this team work on my carpets again. They took the time to be sure the work was done right, even sanitized the duct work as I had a bad smell from the vent pipe next to the evaporative cooler that was sucked in when the cooler was on; a contractor came over to extend the vent pipe above the level of the evaporative cooler rather than below that level.

+ -1 moreMaking appointment was easy with a knowledgeable employee. Cleaning crew called before arriving and were on time. The two-man crew arrived in company uniforms. They surveyed the work to be done and gave me a firm estimate. They made note of furniture not to be moved and areas that needed special attention. One worker applied an enzyme based precleaner in the heavy traffic areas while the other set up the cleaning apparatus. The heavy duty extraction machine was located inside their panel truck which they had backed into our driveway. They used corner protectors inside the house to prevent the hoses from damaging the walls. One worker applied very hot (almost a steam) water with a wand and the apparatus immediately vacuumed up the moisture. The carpets did end up very slightly moist, but were quickly dried out with company supplied blowers. The furniture was carefully moved during cleaning, and replaced in the original positions, the legs protected with foam and plastic cushions from the slightly damp carpet. The carpet was raked to raise the nap. The carpets were completely dry in a few hours. Their carpet service was the best I have ever had and I plan to use them again when the carpet needs servicing again. Their service was professional from beginning to end, their employees friendly and well trained, and the cleaning process exceeded my expectations.

+ -1 moreA dining room chair had multiple food stains on the seat that could not be completely removed with household stain removing products. I called and they gave an estimate of $15-$20 and two days completion time. I asked about the $15 coupon discount advertised here, but was told the price was too low for that to be available. I brought the chair in to their shop on Monday afternoon and it was ready on Wednesday afternoon of the same week. The tough-to-remove stains were completely gone. I expected the cost to be over $20 but they charged only about $16.

+ -1 moreMarco and Mike were by far the best carpet cleaners I have ever had! My husband and I like a very clean carpet and were very impressed with Marco's work. They showed up to our house with the biggest carpet cleaning truck I have ever seen and got our carpets cleaner than anyone ever has. We live in a two story home and asked that the ground floor, the stairs and the landing at the top of the stairs to be cleaned. No other company has ever come in with so many fans to dry out the carpet. It was dry so much faster! The carpet was even softer under our bare feet! I was extremely impressed by their work and professionalism. The gave me quotes on future services and I and want to have them back out as soon as possible to do my ceramic tile! Thanks so much!

+ -1 moreThe area to be cleaned was heavily soiled and stained by cat and dog stains. The technicians were here when scheduled. The three of them did a great job and by the time they left, the carpeting was nearly dry. They used three big fans as they worked and provided us with booties if we needed to access the rooms before they were thoroughly dried. We were so pleased with the work done. The stains were removed and the carpets look as good as new. We need more work done and plan on using DanCare again.

I really appreciate the fact that they put rubber bumpers around the corners of all the woodwork to protect it. I had one room where the carpet has never really looked clean, no matter what company I used in the past and another one with some animal stains no one could remove either. Marcos & Mike worked on them until they almost looked brand new! They took their time and were very concerned about getting every spot/stain out. They did an excellent job, and DanCare is the only company I will use in the future. They also have ALL my recommendations to friends and clients.Marcos & Mike are both very considerate and obviously take pride in their work.

+ -1 moreReceived a quote over the phone for 4 rooms, a hallway, and a (carpeted) bathroom. I was unsure of exactly which rooms I would actually have cleaned at the time, but they assured me that when they arrived they would walk through the house with me and confirm/adjust the quote before beginning any work. They had openings the following week and were able to schedule me immediately. Dan and Danny arrived promptly when scheduled. They walked through the house with me and we discussed the stains/spots and what products had been used to try to remove them. They also asked which pieces of furniture could/should be moved. Dan confirmed the original quote and we agreed to do all of the areas. They vacuumed all of the carpets before beginning the cleaning. Almost 2 hours later, all of the cleaning was done and driers had been setup to help speed the drying process. Dan spent a few minutes with me at the end discussing spot-treatments and other services that they provide. We also discussed that some of the areas that I had treated with a soap-based cleaner may attract dirt faster than the surrounding carpet if any soap residue remained. He advised to give them a call back if this seems to be happening and they could come back out and spot clean those areas. I am pleased with the results of the cleaning and will definitely use them again for carpets and may also look into Tile and Upholstery options.

They cleaned the grout and moved onto their next job. As always they were very professional and did an excellent job. I have also used them for carpet cleaning and give them high marks in that area also.
Description of Work: Cleaned the grout between our floor tiles. It is white grout and it was dingy and looked awful. When Dancare completed cleaning it looked like new. Love it!!

+ -1 moreI recently purchased a home and needed the carpets cleaned throughout. The home had been occupied by a smoker. I plan to use the home as a rental property so I really needed the smoke smell out of there. I contacted Dancare on a Thursday. I explained that I was in town from out of state and had a short time window in which to complete the cleaning. Dancare was able to schedule a cleaning on Saturday morning which worked out perfectly for me. I was impressed that I was able to get on the schedule with such short notice. The guys who completed the work (I believe their names were Mike and Marco) arrived on time and were very professional . They fully explained their process and answered all of our questions. They estimated two hours to complete the entire job. The guys worked quickly and efficiently. They took extra time on the traffic areas to get them as clean as possible. They were careful not to damage any walls while bringing equipment through the house. They raked the carpet after cleaning it and left the place looking beautiful! The whole place is fresh, clean, and free of smoke odors. Wonderful! The house was empty of furniture so the guys finished more quickly than anticipated, They knew we had work to do on the place and were anxious to have access. They were kind enough to leave us shoe covers so that we could walk on the freshly cleaned carpets without soiling them. Overall it was a very positive experience. I will definitely use them again in the future and highly recommend them.

+ -1 moreI am happy to say that we were absolutely amazed at the results that DanCare achieved! Nearly all of the stains were gone and the carpets looked nearly new when the work was completed. The only areas that showed some discoloration were very heavily traffic hallways which showed some 15 years of wear. We will never use any one else again in the future!
Description of Work: We had carpets in six rooms plus halls cleaned. The carpets were off white in color and were 16 years old. Over the years they had accumulated a variety of backing show through stains that resisted former cleaning efforts. So we decided to try a new company, on the off chance, that we might get better results.

I felt they were professional every step of the way. They communicated with me what they were doing and why they were doing it. I loved that even though I had a quote, they walked through the house and re-verified the amount I was going to pay. The carpets look sensational when they finished. I found out that for a reasonable amount of money more, they can stretch my rugs, which I will definitely do at a later date. I have found that in life some people work for their bosses' standards...and some for their clients'. But perfectionists that work for THEIR OWN standards are the best workers in the world - because in their minds, they can never do it good enough. That is the kind of service I experienced with this company.
Description of Work: I had the rugs of my town home cleaned - 3.5 rooms, 1 hall, and 13 steps. I moved the small items and furniture before the men came, and they took care of the rest.
