Steve found the part to fix our door even though the manufacturer had gone out of business. He arrived on time and quickly fixed the door. He drove up from Albuquerque to work at several Santa Fe homes and refused my offer to cover his "delivery time."

Great! I made a selection from the online catalog he provided. He and his wife work together. He rebuilt the rear garage door frame and installed a new door that had worn out after 25 years of the beating western sun. I found a contemporary, sleek yet simple style for the large front door. The staining job was superb. He even took care of re-establishing the connection at the doors with my security system. He communicated via email, met deadlines, and did a great job. He is licensed, bonded, and insured. A true professional!

Working with Steve and Robyn was the best experience I've had as a homeowner. I called Steve last fall because my existing windows had been leaking badly every time it rained and the interior was starting to show signs of the water damage. I showed Steve the problem and he helped me understand why it was happening and our options to fix it, along with the pros and cons of each option; ultimately, we settled on replacing the windows. I'd never done this before and had about a million questions; Steve was incredibly responsive, thorough, and kind, and answered everything so that I felt very confident when it came time to choose and order the new windows. He came back a second time to finalize measurements and discuss trim options, since we would be replacing the sills and adding additional wood trim. I can't speak highly enough of Steve and his work. He knew that the leaking problem was my main concern and during the installation he took the time to dig in, figure out why it was happening, and make sure that it never would again. He had to dig through three layers of old stucco to get down to the original framing. He discovered that the problem window had an old rotted lintel that had been covered by stucco, and the existing windows had not been flashed properly behind the lintel. He removed the rotten wood lintel, fixed the framing, and made sure all of the new windows were secured into the framing, perfectly leveled and shimmed, and flashed and sealed properly so I wouldn't have to worry about future leaks. He approached the entire project with a view of doing things properly so that his work will stand up over time, and because he was particular about making sure his work was done correctly, I finally have peace of mind about something that had been a problem for a long time. This review wouldn't be complete without discussing the quality of their woodworking craftsmanship. Steve designed and installed craftsman-style framing around each window. He and Robyn pre-finished trim pieces to match the wood windows and their attention to detail during the install was exceptional - not only from making sure the lines are perfect, but more subtly, choosing the way the grain patterns from different trim pieces are placed around the windows. All of the details are flawless and the finished product is impeccable. The windows are now beautiful pieces of art in each room and I love looking at them. I feel very fortunate to have worked with Creative Coyote. Their workmanship is exceptional and they are wonderful to work with.

I contacted them several months ago and we planned the work for June when they had time available and we would be away. We wanted a replacement vanity that would match the surrounding cabinets and would be higher and have more useable space than the existing. We picked out a stone countertop from another vendor and left the coordination of the installation to Creative Coyote. The cabinets were installed and ready well before the countertop was delivered and installed. Creative Coyote then installed the splash tile, the sink and faucet, and connected the plumbing back up. The result was just what we wanted with nice detail work which really matches up well with the existing cabinets. We are really very pleased with the result. It's exactly what we were hoping for. These folks are very particular about their work. We've used them before with similar results.
