Went to her studio to select material, took home several samples, then made selection. The material was ordered. Once the material was delivered, the chairs were upholstered. We are very happy with the material selected and like the additional padding that was added to each seat.

She had quite the challenge on her hands. Both my husband and I are engineers and creatively challenged. She was accommodating to my travel schedule and was always willing to meet with us at our home or showroom(s) on my schedule. She was extremely helpful in the selection of the colors of the wall, carpet, cabinetry, stone, etc. She was patiently persistent about the wall coloring, providing multiple form board examples for my husband and I to review. She introduced us to a wall treatment called Variance. While the treatment was budget busting it absolutely makes the room a true retreat. It is so warm and inviting. It was one of the best choices provided and decisions made. She is truly worth her charges. She is an absolute joy to work with. I wish I had known her for our previous remodels and definitely will ask for her assistance with any future projects.

I can't believe how beautiful they are. By the way, the only reason I gave price a B was that I don't know what the typical cost should be. I chose a pricey fabric, so that was half the cost. But I didn't really care about the cost. I love the chairs, and I wanted them redone by someone who cared enough to make them beautiful again. If you have some special piece(s) you want meticulously reupholstered and/or rebuilt, call Christine.

I had my heart set on a tile floor downstairs. Christine pointed out how noisy this would be. She also pointed out all the extra work involved with replacing my carpet with tile. She suggested we just replace the carpet and made color suggestions which I really liked. She also made suggestions on a backspash for my kitchen. I have already picked out my new carpet and plan on going soon to look at tile. Thank you for your help!

I didn't know what to do first re selecting paint, carpet, furnishings etc for our current remodel. What we do now effects what we change/remodel in several other rooms in my home so I needed help with those areas also. Our home is challenging since most ceilings are tongue and groove so we can't go too dark, yet it is southwest in character so too modern or too light wouldn't fit. Christine arrived promptly and we got right to work. She is highly professional, capable and talented. She patiently walked through all my rooms, viewed the samples I had, listened to my ideas, asked many questions to help me clarify the direction I wanted to go. I now have a step by step plan. She helped me to narrow choices in paint colors, types of blinds, fabric colors, placement of furniture and wall hangings. She also gave me a plan so I can decide whether to reupholster the two very old chairs I have. She steered me away from making several mistakes I had in mind of doing. I will continue to work with Christine as I move through this remodeling/redecorating process. In fact, I contacted her today to set another appointment for consultation.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. Overall it was pretty good. We got some good ideas from her. In terms of timeliness and punctuality, she was pretty good. We didn't pay any additional. She did a good job. She didn't delve into too many specifics but that wasn't what we were looking for.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for a design consultant - we purchased a vacation home and although I am pretty good at mimicking others designs, I needed some questions answered. Christine responded to me immediately and set a mutual time to meet which was not easy, as I am in and out of town frequently. She arrived on time (called beforehand) and walked through my home and gave me multiple tips on how to improve my design. Well worth the $99 fee. On Christine's advice, I purchased 2 chairs from Ashley Furniture and brought them to her for reupholstery. The chairs were not assembled and she upholstered them in pieces. She gave me a quote site-unseen and it turned out that the job was more complicated than expected as the pieces were glued together. She really struggled with the job but kept at it when others would have likely given up. I dropped of the chairs on a Monday and picked them up on a Saturday, we were to fly out that Sunday. The chairs were done very well - no complaints. I think the charges were reasonable as well. I supplied the material. I have 2 ottomans still at her shop to reupholster as well as 8 pillows that I want done. I will continue to use her in the future.

She made suggestions for wall color, window coverings, and flooring.

It was amazing. Christine came to the house and we discussed some upholstery projects that I need done and then she went with me room by room giving me suggestions and ideas and things to think about. We are working on picking out fabrics at this time to make the vision come true.

Christine was very helpful and fun to work with. She offered both excellent suggestions and some good to know warnings about my projects. I will be implementing many of her ideas, and she has kept in touch with me regarding products relating to those projects. |

I asked her for a color suggestion for my walls and she said to paint them a Taupe color - but had no samples to show me. Taupe can come in pink tones, gray tones, brown tones... She also suggested some window treatments but did not offer to show me any fabric samples. I didn't get the specifics I was looking for.

It went very well. She arrived on time as scheduled. We had a series of questions for her. We were glad that we had contacted her as we would surely have made some choices we would have regretted.

It went great, I hired her. She charges by the hour so there isn't a single charge for a single visit. I thought she was very responsive. She is very knowledgeable. She is very patient. This is not an area I'm very good at and I hired her to help me understand interior design and change what I thought I wanted to something I think I am going to be way happier with in the long run. I haven't had any problems.

Christine helped me tremendously. I was stuck on what to do with my dining room table, and with colors in my den. She helped me focus my ideas, and sent me examples of things to do. She came over on the 4th of July on short notice and even offered to let me use some of her personal items for a dinner party I was having. She went above and beyond in my opinion. Her energy is wonderful and her design ideas were extremely helpful. I would recommend Christine to anyone, and will certainly use her again in the future.

Simply the best. Professional, detail-oriented, honest, thorough, thoughtful, creative, dogged, did what was necessary to get it right -- and she has superb taste to boot. I had a vintage Danish sofa that required not simply reupholstering but redesigning the seat and back cushions. Christine patiently and cheerfully worked tirelessly with me to achieve the desired look. She also reattached and tightened springs and added new support to the underside without me having requested it, simply because the sofa needed it. I can't say enough good words about Christine's professionalism, work ethic and taste. She helped me develop an idea for the redesign that made the sofa ten times more elegant. Because she did such a phenomenal job, I felt confident in purchasing the sofa's matching loveseat, which I was fortunate enough to find on eBay, and I will be hiring Christine to reupholster that piece as well. Have no hesitation in hiring Christine to do your reupholstering. She's a professional who knows her craft.

We chose Christine after a failed negotiation with an upholsterer in Santa Fe. This other party took on the job, scheduled it to be completed in 6 weeks, only to find when the due date for our project arrived, she did not have enough of the the fabric we had chosen and paid for! Following this, Christine was a breath of much needed fresh air. She directed us to a great fabric and upholstery source in Albuquerque and worked with them to get a good price on the material. Christine scheduled our project completion for about 6 weeks and she met that time schedule. We are very happy with the outcome and our experience working with Christine. She kept us updated as the project progressed and was able to even deliver it to our home in Santa Fe (she doesn't usually do deliveries, but was coming to town for another project). Both my wife and I agree that we would use Christine's services again, without hesitation.

We delivered our sofa seat to Christine for recovering. She was able to use some fabric we supplied. It turned out beautifully. She had to repair the worn out burlap strapping as well, and only asked for a little to cover materials.

Christine was very prompt, professional and personal. Not only did she have excellent suggestions about my chairs and sofa cushions, she has great ideas for window treatments and redecorating/updating an apartment on my property. She is also quite reasonable and fast.

I chose to have an old, well built chair reupholstered rather than purchase a new chair. In exploring, I found that the cost may be as expensive and possibly more expensive than replacing the chair. Christine worked with me to select fabric and make design changes providing her expertise which was very helpful. She was up front about the time that the job might take--she had the chair for several weeks. The one challenge was with pricing--I knew that she needed to see the chair to determine materials she would need but I had hoped to have a price quote prior to picking the chair up. The design changes are wonderful and the quality of work is excellent. We look forward to having this chair around for another 20 years!

.Service provided was very professional. Christine took the time to listen and offered various fabric options which made the selection process easier. I kind o f knew what style of drapes I wanted, and because of her knowledge of manufacturers and her contacts I was provided with a variety of fabric samples that I would not be able to find thru the usual retail sources. After selecting the fabric, she handled everything including measuring (twice - at different times) , oversaw the fabrication and the installation. Because of her experience and knowledge, Christine used the best professional fabricators to hand sew the drapes, and the most detail oriented drapery rod installer you could imagine. The final results were far better than expected and at a substantial savings over any other so-called interior designers costs. I would highly recommend Christine and I now that the drapes are finished I am having her assist with re-upholstering a chair.

Christine continued over the course of several weeks to make recommendations, help me shop for badly needed furniture, stop me from making critical mistakes and give me advice on things to do and not to do in order to accomplish the look and feel I was going for. Her attentiveness and quick responses made my ambitions to get things in order an dformulate a plan for how/where to buy furniture and how to avoid costly mistakes which resulted in an interior apartment which now has a near luxury look and feel accomplished at very very low or reasnoble prices. Things are now far better organized and I can work, relax, sip a coctail or a cup of coffee while preparing for or unwinding from a very busy and stressful day. Thank you Christine!

Christine helped me pick out fabrics, colors, design, cording, cushion, pillows to coordinate - everything. This is NOT an area of comfort for me and so her eye was crucial in putting it together correctly - I really needed her help with the fabric for durability, scale to complement the banco size, and beauty. She is a gifted artist, easy to work with, is amazing in her ability to make something utilitarian into something gorgeous. It was a 7' banco in our library and we also wanted to use it for overflow guests. She has made it so comfortable and beautiful, I find myself gravitating to it frequently. She has contacts everywhere, so it's easy for her to find a source for particular needs - in my case, she wrapped it in down, used high quality foam and it is magnificent. She consulted with me everytime a decision needed to made, gave me alternative options that would have worked well; I always knew how much each part of it was going to cost, and though it's pricey, that was my decision, not hers, and I know she gave me excellent pricing, and much at cost. I don't plan on ever replacing it and I wanted it done perfectly - just once. My daughter slept on it over Christmas and every morning she would come down and tell us what a great mattress it was, and how well she slept. This was the whole point - I want all my guests to feel pampered and loved, surrounded by beauty. Christine is the one who brought this room together. She was absolutely willing to work within a budget I had set, though I was the one who kept adding more luxury and she walked me through it each time. She had some fabric with all the right colors, but not the same fabric I had selected for the body of it, and used it for the cording (with my blessing, even though I hadn't seen it b/c I trust her artistic intuition). Wow! It was the perfect finishing touch. No hesitations, no qualms - I wholeheartedly recommend her and will use her again with two chairs I need to have redone. They're unique (swan chair from the 30s) and I wouldn't trust anyone else with them. I'll post pictures within the week. Thanks, Christine! Above and beyond!
