Description of Work: Christine has helped me with flooring and paint choices for my new home. She also assisted me with overall guidance about overall finishes and furnishing details. I am not good at choosing paint color and Christine brought over large samples and the color chosen is perfect - much better than any color I could have chosen on my own! I will absolutely ask Christine to help me again and I have referred others to her.

Description of Work: I requested that Christine reupholster a Chippendale settee. She arrived at my residence with fabric samples, because I explained to her the type and color of fabric I wanted. I gave her a deposit and she took the settee with her. Christine had knowledge of the furniture style and knew what would be appropriate upholstery. When it turned out that the chosen fabric had been discontinued, Christine notified me promptly and brought by additional samples. I am delighted with the result and the workmanship. She was very professional and efficient. I got a bid on the same project from another upholsterer who quoted me $350 plus the cost of the fabric! I can recommend Christine without any reservations.

Description of Work: Christine consulted on a living room remodel. She gave us several good ideas on general layout and color coordination. She also recommended a good contractor, which we used for the initial carpentry work. Her fees seemed very reasonable, although we just used the initial consultation.

Description of Work: Christine came to my home pursuant to a $99 consultation package. She called to say she was late and couldn't figure out how to get to my house. When I gave her directions, she wanted exact distances rather than landmarks. As I recall, I had to lead her in to my house. I asked Christine about solutions to some decorating issues I had encountered, such as bathroom colors and leather reupholstery. I never felt that she was engaged. And she never followed up with an estimate, however rough, for leather reupholstery. I was left with a really bad taste in my mouth.

Description of Work: Christine reupholstered a large ottoman for us. We are thrilled with the results! So well done and reasonably priced. She brought fabric sample books to my house, picked up the item and returned it to my home when it was completed. Really above and beyond. I will always use her when I need to have something reupholstered.
