It was great! They called ahead to confirm the appointment, showed up on time, and completed the job quickly. Furthermore, they did a quality job for a good price.

Carpet Source was prompt in making an initial appointment. Dan &Tim came out and because the prices were so great we decided to do the entire house instead of just the damaged bedrooms. We made our selection and scheduled the install. The next day we decided to change the color selection and Tim returned and helped us finalize the contract. The install was split into two days because we were doing the whole house. Andy in the office was great in scheduling. The install crew led by Paul were most proficient in their installation--the carpet looks great. However, we did sustain some damage to heavier pieces of furniture when they were moved. All in all, the sales reps, the carpet quality and price and the installation was top notch. I would definitely use or recommend Carpet Source to anyone. Don responded to our review regarding the furniture damages and took great care at his expense to restore the damage. Carpet Source picked up and delivered the furniture in a timely manner. Not only were the repairs made they we virtually undetectable. GREAT JOB Carpet Source!

May 28, 2013 Don from Carpet Source gave me a quote to install new carpet in my home. On June 14, 2013 I received a call from Carpet Source that the carpet was in town and scheduled for installation on June 19 & 20, 2013. They were to call me on June 17 to set final date and time. No call so on June 18 so I called carpet source and could not get a reason what went wrong. On June 20 Ron called to inform me the new date would be on July 9 & 10, 2013 at 0900. On July 5, I called Carpet Source and talked to Andy and he confirmed July 9, 2013 would be the final date, one day to install. On July 9 at 0900 Mayflower showed up to move fragile items which they packed in boxes and loaded in van and left. On July 9 at 11:00 AM no one showed to install carpet. I once again called Andy and he said it was to be scheduled for installation tomorrow. I corrected him as today was the promised date. He later called me back and said he did make a mistake and all was his fault. He would have a double crew there today. At about 3:00 PM Carpet Source did finally show up, moved furniture around and proceeded to install carpet. At about 8:30 PM they left here. Three crews to do the job, and we the owners, were in quite a mess while this was happening. I did call them back as there were a few items to correct. Still need one more call back.

Installation team arrived when they said they would. All team members were very professional and courteous. They took special care in moving some older pieces of furniture. Installation proceeded as promised with no delays. Team replaced all furniture after carpet was laid. The carpet looks and feels great and the price was very reasonable. I would recommend Carpet Source to others.

Don and all of the folks at Carpet Source were friendly and professional. We chose a smartstrand carpet and travertine tile. We didn't love any of the porcelain tiles Don brought by the house, but we found something we liked at Arizona tile so Don picked it up from them. Although the carpet and tile prices seemed very high to us (not having needed this service for awhile), their prices were actually thousands less than two other highly rated Angie's List companies for comparable products. The tile guys went first, and took longer than we anticipated, but they had a lot of demo and prep work to do. After installing a Lyon pattern, they grouted and sealed the tile, and it looks great. The carpet guys came a couple of days later, and worked quickly, yet were very careful when moving the furniture (including a 125 gallon fish tank!). No visible seams, and this stuff feels great under foot. We're very happy with the job, and would not hesitate to use Carpet Source again.

These guys are the BEST! We are from out of town and they knew we would only be at our new house for a few days. Not only did they purchase and pick up the carpet (from Home Depot-not them) they stayed in touch with us on a regular basis to let us know what the status was for getting the carpet, and they installed the carpet on the 4th of July when everyone else had the day off. Very professional and nice people (they even played with our cat). I would use them again in a heartbeat. The new carpet looks great and I can't say enough about how terrific I think this company is. Don't hesitate to use them...they're awesome!

I called them to see about getting carpet that I already had installed. They only install their own carpet, which is the norm around the Albuqueque area.

We were completely satisfied. Very pleased with the carpet. The installation team was professional, they showed up right on time, and they did a fine job of installing the carpet. We would certainly choose them again.

A man and his son did the work. They moved the furniture first. After the installation, the installer disappeared for awhile; and some teenage boys appeared at my house. I didn't know who they were or why they were there. One of them then helped the son put the furniture back. I guess I'm somehwat fussy, but I didn't really like having the kids tracking through part of my house. Later, when I sat down to watch TV, I could see the seam going across the middle of the room. I then looked around and could see the seam in the doorway. There was also one on the bottom step. Maybe it's a characteristic of pile carpet, but I've always had pile carpet in the past and haven't had visible seams before. They don't look that bad, but still... Both the owner and the installer came over and were concerned about my happiness with the job. Anyway, It's done, and no one else will notice those seams, I'm sure. They explained away the seam on the bottom step by saying they couldn't get under the stair to hide it, which I can understand. These are open stairs. There was no seam visible on that stair before, however. I would have liked it if the installer had worn shoe covers, once he was working with the new carpet. Also, there were some black marks on the walls from his hands, I think. I realize that these things can happen, but they just haven't happened to me before. In the end, I like the carpet itself, and I liked the owner and his staff, but I'm way more aware of questions to ask of a dealer before I have carpet installed again.

They were out here twice. The last time he was here was Wednesday. They owner is called Don. Everybody was very helpful. He gave us an estimate. I did not meet the man who worked on the carpet as I was out. If I could ever afford new flooring, I would call him. there was one part of the company I did not think looked right, so Don came out and took care of it. I did not get any other estimates, so I don't know if the price was reasonable. I did think it was fair as I chose them to d the work. I was happy. They did a good job and I did not have to buy a new carpet. He never tried to pressure me into buying new carpet.

I am handling the sale of my parents? home, a task much more demanding than I had anticipated. However, I can honestly say that re-carpeting the house was by far the easiest part of the process due to Carpet Source. They have to be the best kept secret in Albuquerque. Don Lovato had already provided a quote to our realtor which sounded too good to be true as it was 40% less than what I was expecting to have to pay. Don made a second trip to the house to meet with me when I arrived in Albuquerque. I was genuinely amazed at the quality of the samples he brought. He is extremely knowledgeable about his product lines which also impressed me. The carpet was installed on-time and in a professional manner. The house looks ABSOLUTELY LOVELY! I have recommended him to my family and friends in Albuquerque. GREAT VALUE, GREAT PRODUCT, GREAT SERVICE! I wish Carpet Source was in California so Don could do my carpeting!

The service went excellent. Don Lovato went above and beyond to do an exceptional job. He worked with my time crunch and handled things so well, I couldn't be more pleased. Further more his guys were very professional, punctual, and finished in a timely manner. I would definitely highly recommend Carpet Source to anyone in New Mexico. There should be an A+ option for these guys!

We were in desperate need of new flooring, after years of wear-and-tear from our children and dogs. We did a google search and found Carpet Source and noticed that they had exceptional reviews from multiple sources, including Angie's List. The entire process from selection to installation to completion was easy and professional. There was so much personal attention and consideration each step of the way. We were also very appreciative that Don stayed within our budget but found some wonderful choices for us. The installers also did a great job. We will definitely be using Carpet Source for our future flooring needs

The installers were very professional and took great care in every detail from cutting the carpet to placing the hard woods. I felt very comfortable with them in my home. The finished product is wonderful. My carpets are of the highest quality and could only be described as luxurious and my wood floors are wonderful. We had a casual get together and everyone said our home looked like it could be in a magazine. Mr. Lovato and his team are to be highly commended for doing such a fabulous job. We cannot thank you enough for your patience, hard work and making us feel like we are special.

The installation went great, they arrived on time and our new carpet looks wonderful. Our kids are enjoying the nice new look and feel of the plush carpet. :)

My initial experience with Don was extremely favorable. However, he was out of town when his installer did the work. I initially rated the experience as a D as the installer was completely unprepared and unprofessional.However, when Don read about my experience with this he immediately contacted me. He himself came over that afternoon (even after getting in a car accident and on a Sunday) and put in the correct materials for repair and did an excellent job. I've changed my rating from a D to a B after this, but I would only use this company again if Don either did the work or was there to oversee it being done. Thank you, Don, for being an ethical business owner.

I contracted this company to replace carpet in my rental unit. I was unable to be there as I am out of state. I asked them to please choose a standard, but sturdy carpet for me that would be appropriate for my rental and choose a neutral color that would blend well with the existing tile. They had no problem following my instructions and did not feel the need to call me to ask a bunch of questions. I was clear at the beginning that I did NOT want to have to fly out there and take care of this; just please make your best judgement call and choose whatever carpet would do best. I also directed them to my 75-year-old Aunt who lives nearby to obtain a key, etc. They were prompt and courteous and very respectful. My aunt says the carpet looks great! I can't tell you how much I appreciated knowing they would do a good job and I wouldn't have to worry.

Don was very professional and knowledgeable. By bringing actual carpet samples to your home, it's much easier to see what colors and styles will work well for your home. There was no pressure to "close the deal", and the visit and quote were at no charge. I called him later that day, asking for some changes, and then ordered the carpet. It came in about ten days later and we scheduled an installation appointment. His installer, Sergio, was fantastic. He arrived right on time and helped me move a couple of items of furniture that I couldn't move by myself. He removed the old carpet (no charge for this, by the way) and was able to make a pattern of the entire install, meaning that it was all cut and installed in one piece - no seams! Working steadily, he finished the job in about three and a half hours and it looks great. He cleaned up carefully before he left and wished me a good day.

I was impressed by Don's knowledge and willingness to explain all aspects of the mfg. process and helping me to choose a different carpet than I had initially wanted. He pointed out the various qualities of each type of carpet that interested me and was willing to give more than one estimate based on carpet choice. He was most helpful with my fiinal decision. The short time from order to installation was a plus. Don ran slightly late for our appointment and called me en route to let me know when he would arrive, which I appreciated. I can't say the same for the installers. I was given a 1/2 hour window of time for their arrival. They arrived 45 minutes late with no phone call to let me know nor apology for their lateness. This is the reason for the B rating instead of the A rating. Other than their lateness they did a good job and were finished in just over 2 hours with a 2 room installation. Overall a good experience and I would recommend to others if asked.

We were really impressed with Don, who came to the house, showed us samples, measured, and helped us pick out the color. He was very professional, inspired confidence, and wasn't pushy at all. The total price was 30-40% lower than the other estimate we received for similarly high quality carpet. The carpet we chose had to be ordered, but it arrived on schedule and was installed 2 weeks after we received our estimate. The installation was the only part of the process that was even a little disappointing. The subcontractor who performed our installation was professional, polite, and competent. However, there were many issues (loose edges, edges not under baseboards, gaps at thresholds with tile, etc.) that I identified on the final walkthrough that needed attention. But they readily fixed all the problems, and in the end the job was done well. On the plus side, they finished in one day even though it was a big job scheduled for two days, so that was great! In summary, we love the carpet (the color is perfect- thanks Don!), were pleased with the price, and would definitely recommend Carpet Source. I don't know if our installation experience was typical, as I understand Carpet Source uses several subcontractors for installation, but I would recommend paying close attention to the install just to make sure it is right before they leave.

I called Don and talked to him about flooring options. I really liked the LVT but still wanted to have some carpet installed. He brought over samples and was very knowledgeable and professional. He brought over products in my price range and then quoted me a price. I had another quote but he beat out the price of the other installer and I decided to go with him. He was able to complete the job the very next week after the products arrived and did a really good job. I had an awful experience with a painter the week prior so it was so nice to be treated like a customer instead of being lied to and having my house damaged. I would recommend him. He is truthful and honest. I did remind him I wanted extra LVT and had to wait to get it so i only gave him a B on responsiveness, but he always returned my calls and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

Had Carpet Source re-carpet a one bedroom apartment after damage was done by a burst pipe. Via the web, I schedule an appointment for a quote. At the appointment (a few days later), the owner provided a quote (final charges reflected this quote exactly). Then at another appointment about a week later, a crew of two came to the apartment to put in the carpeting. The final job was done well. The carpet looked good, and the crew vacuumed before they left the apartment.

Came out the day we first called with carpet samples and recommended the Mohawk Smart strand in a very nice color for our rental. Made it out the following Monday and got everything installed that day.
