Brad was great at getting back to me regarding any questions I had between the estimate and work date. He was very professional as was the staff. I have noticed a few negative reviews here directed towards landscape companies; do keep in mind that during busy seasons, it may take a day or two to get a response, as most are small companies. Sometimes it is easier to ask questions via email. With that said, Brad was great at responding same day and was professional every step of the way. Brad and his staff did a amazing job. My yard is better than imagined it would be.

The only problem was in how long it took for them to start. I understand it was their busy season, but they didn't get to us until almost 3 months later than the six weeks they initially said. Once they arrived and began they did good work. They finished in about 7-10 days. The lawn grass and other plants are doing fine. They were willing to adjust the price for work that wasn't done and some extra that was. I would use them again, but I would adjust the window of time in which to expect them.

They did a great job locating the leak, making sure utility companies identified underground utilities before digging, and then identifying and repairing the leak. It took them a while to return my initial phone call, but after that they were prompt, professional, and effective. I would definitely use them again.

After getting estimates from four different companies (the bids varied by over $1000) I chose By the Yard. They weren't the lowest, but I appreciated Brad's eagerness in winning the business and commitment to a quality job. A little hiccup in connecting to schedule, but the job was completed earlier than scheduled. Brad's team were professional and hard working.

Installation went well. Area was left neat and clean. The valves are neat and tidy, The AVB (anti-backflow) are parallel and the irrigation box was relocated to accommodate the change in plumbing. Brad was able to reuse my existing box, saving me money. I am very satisfied with the work Brad and his team did.

Our usual company wanted $1200 to replace our valves and actuators. I called By the Yard for a 2nd opinion, because the other company seemed overly anxious to do the work immediately, even though I would not be available on the days they proposed. I called By the Yard and left a message to request service. I was called back within a day to schedule an appointment. Brad came out today, bypassed the broken part with a t-piece and moved one sprinkler head in 30 minutes or less. He knew immediately that the valve that the other company wanted to replace was not necessary (it was leftover for irrigating grass that was replaced by zeroscaping). I wanted to share this because I appreciated Brad's honestly and knowledge. I would have paid what was necessary to fix our system, but like most of you, I don't like throwing away money for someone's else's greed or lack of knowledge.

Excellent work, efficient and on time, professional got right to work and knew what they were doing and in what order to do things. Entire project was done before 3 in the afternoon. We have other properties and will hire Brad and his fellows for every job we have.

Extremely well, they were very prompt both times I used them and did a very professional. The manifold and sprinkler valves were a major effort due to somewhat irregular installation 38 years ago. Al work was done totally to my satisfaction. The price was extremely reasonable. Will certainly use them for a future sprinkler repair or landscape changes.

Not only did he fix my problem, but had recommendations to improve conditions around some of my trees and, when I asked him, he had some impressive ideas about an additional patio/ outdoor grilling area. Great. Brad is very responsive and knowledgeable, and works quickly. A broken valve for one zone was replaced ending a leak at one head; sprinkler heads were re-directed for maximum coverage; an unneeded and unused drip zone was de-activated.
