Brad was very personable and explained the new controller so that I will know how to regulate it myself in the future. He also patiently answered questions that I had about the present irrigation system and future planting . Overall it was a very good experience.

The best contractor work that I have experienced in a long time.

Brad immediately identified the problem. He worked until he was able to remove rocks that were lodged in the pipe. The cost was very reasonable considering how long it took and the amount of effort he put in to remove the rocks. I will definitely use him again. We also discussed having him do some landscaping next Spring.

They worked with me to find a convenient time. Brad was on time, professional, and truly helpful. I plan to work with them again.

The entire job took only 2 1/2 days to complete. Brads work crew (Tabo, Joey and Kenneth) are highly professional hard working men. It was a real pleasure to watch all of them create exactly what I wanted for my front yard. They were always on time each morning and worked until dark. The stone work they provided is Beautiful and Artistic. I would recommend Brad and his crew to any of my friends with pleasure. In the future if I decide to do the same thing in the backyard I know exactly who I will call.

I am getting ready to sell my home, and my backyard needed a lot of work. It basically hadn't seen any landscaping or maintenance for 2 years. It was a HUGE job. By the yard was quick to give me an estimate, answer my questions, and even go above and beyond to help me out with my front wooden gate which was broken. They did all the work in about 6 hours which was pretty amazing considering all they did. * Removed dead trees/shrubs * Pull all weeds * Trim vines/trees/grass * Haul away all vegetation (2 years of leaves) * Clear off all leaves off the top of my patio covered structure * Spray perimeter for weeds * Replace irrigation control system * Replace front wooden gate Overall I was very pleased with their service.

The work was well done. They picked up the plugs from the aeration which I thought was a good idea. The boxwood hedge looks very nice after it was pruned and the area was cleaned up well.

This time of year it can be challenging to get a landscaper to respond to a request for an estimate and to eventually schedule the work. By The Yard was responsive to our request for the estimate. When he visited our property, Brad listened carefully and provided great suggestions, all very responsive to our desires. The work was scheduled much quicker than expected. We are extremely pleased with the results. The work was done efficiently and it looks great! The crew was friendly and did a very thorough job of clean-up. Brad was asked to select and plant the flowers in the restored flower garden. He did a great job! The necessary drip systems were installed as needed for both parts of the project. Brad then followed up to make sure we were satisfied with the work and to provide additional instructions to ensure that the plants become established. Great work; we will now be able to enjoy the beauty of the work through the remainder of the year!

I called and left a message about an estimate for maintenance work and replacing bare patches in my lawn with sod. It's been approximately one week and I have yet to receive a call back regarding my message. I understand that spring is the busy season for landscapers, but it is extremely unprofessional not return a call for work within 48 hours.

I did not have the work done by By the Yard because they were the last to respond, price point was way to low, for the amount of work to be done, and I had hired another landscaper already.

Brad & Joey came earlier than scheduled which was just fine with us. They were efficient and found the problem with the front drip system and got it working again. Also checked all areas, found one emitter missing and replaced. Confirmed rest working. Very happy with the service and I'd definitely use them again. Thanks, Brad!

Workers were on time, courteous, and did excellent work

I received two bids prior to Brad's arrival. One bid was for $700 dollars and the other was for over $1100. Both bids were for full replacement of the value system. Brad looked at one of the valves, and said he would rebuild the defective valve for a $125, or if he could not, he would charge a little more to replace it. He did not not need to replace the whole valve but fixed the existing one! The great thing was he never mentioned anything about "full replacement". I greatly appreciated his honesty! His ingenuity was also impressive rebuilding the valve. Total time to complete the job was about half an hour. He has a great attitude and got right to the job. This town needs more businessmen and businesswomen like him.

Brad came amazingly quickly and diagnosed what the problem was with the sprinkler system - and then sent a crew the next week to add another sprinkler head to provide the missing coverage for our lawn.

They just did general cleanup. They got rid of some old debris and stuff like that. I've used them several times. I would tell them that they're probably not the cheapest in town but they do do a great job. They're really punctual. I've been very satisfied.

Glad to say a new controller solved that problem and with repairs the sprinkler heads are now working as designed

Brad was able to come out earlier than expected, which was great because it spared us another day of damage to our scorched lawn. He thoroughly vetted the sprinkler system and replaced the malfunctioning heads. He also diagnosed a fungal issue and gave us effective treatment suggestions. Everything is working as it should now, and the front lawn is on the way to a full recovery. Brad is professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Glad we found him!

The work went well and was accomplished within the timeframe that was given actually was completed one day earlier everything looks basically just fine and that was to the estimate that was given to us with no additional costs or expenses. Will consider hiring them again in the future for other landscape work that needs to be done around my home. I found that there estimate was the most fair to any other company here in my area. I would definitely recommend this company.

Brad was very Professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt! He even arrived two days earlier than expected due to a change in his schedule. Highly recommend him and his company.
