Description of Work: Installed refrigerated air unit on roof for replacement of evaporative cooler. I was impressed that all of the work was done to very high standards. Additionally, the entire crew was professional and had excellent communication skills which I appreciated. Also made recommendation for a provider to spray insulative coating on ductwork in attic which was done well. I would recommend B Carlson without reservation. |

Description of Work: I requested a quote for replacing the furnace in my house along with switching from swamp cooling to refrigerated air. Mario, comfort specialist, came to my house and we reviewed my current setup. He provided information on furnace/air conditioning units that would work in my house. Mario is very knowledgeable about the furnace/air conditioning units they sell and, by accurately determining the load requirements, recommended units that would work well in my house. I also purchased a new water heater. The installation of the furnace/ air conditioning and water heater took two days. Rob, plumber, removed the old water heater and installed the new one. He did a very neat and professional job with the installation and clean up. David and Josh installed the furnace/air conditioner. It was a lot of work. The old furnace was in a hall closet. They had to build a small metal platform to raise the new furnace to the correct height. Plumbing and electrical work was done. B Carlson arranged with Elcon electricians for some of the electrical work. They also were very professional and did great work. David and Josh installed the air conditioner in my side yard and the plumbing & cooling lines through the attic. They removed the swamp cooler from roof. David & Josh did a lot of other things that I'm not smart enough to describe. But what I can say is, it is amazing how neat, tidy and professional all aspects of the installation look. David also explain how to use the controller that operates the units. Everything seems to be working great and they cleaned up very well.

Description of Work: The crew removed our old gas furnace & swamp cooler, replacing them with high efficiency gas furnace & refrigerated air. Installed right. Didn't tear up the house doing so. Only issue was lack of communication about how and where the old swamp cooler water line would be capped. | |4 months later when the furnace had a defect, they worked with the manufacturer to get us a brand new replacement.

Description of Work: I had them for a diagnosis only. Although the technician was good, he was abrupt and I felt he would hardly allow me to explain some of the problems I experienced. They limit the time for diagnosis to 1 hour which I had never been told. He was here about 2 hours but I felt there was an additional problem that would have taken a short while to investigate, but the time frame was already exceeded.

Description of Work: Repaired the shower facet, installed a new facet in the bathroom sink, and installed a new toilet in the other bathroom. They did an excellent job, working hard and steady, having all pieces on hand in their truck. They did the toilet install as a "honey do" because I did not tell them ahead of time they were going to be asked to do it. Great installers

Description of Work: They installed a new American Standard air conditioner and Air Handler unit. We were extremely happy with everything! The price was high but we believe that we got a quality product and service. We will use them again!

Description of Work: We have worked with Carlson for many years, and find them to be a very professional, high quality company. They are punctual, do good work, and stand behind their work. On this occasion, we were having major roof repairs, and had Carlson disconnect a large heating/cooling unit so it could be moved by the roofers, and then reconnect it when repairs were finished. Because of the coordination between Carlson and the roofers, Carlson's punctuality was very important. | |They are kind of pricey, but based on my long experience with them, I think they are worth it. You get what you pay for.

Description of Work: Replace a 26 year old furnace, removed our Evaporative Cooler and replaced it with a Coleman Central air system and new Colman Furnace. So far everything is working fine.
