Such replacement installations should be simple and straight forward - as this one was. The whole job took about three hours. I selected this contractor because of his fine reputation and his reasonable cost estimate. Three other bidders were known by me to do good work, but they took advantage of the "rebate climate" this year and inflated their estimates for an equivalent furnace to about 3 times this bid (from $5900 to $6300). I find that conduct reprehensible and I told them so!! These other bidders wanted to sell me a 95% efficient furnace, but due to the need to dispose of condensate water, considerable extra installation cost would be incurred for my home. Simple engineering analysis showed that the extra furnace cost and added installation cost would never be recoverable from a slightly lower operating cost. Ancae understood these simple analyses and had no argument about it. I always choose to do business with people of integrity!

Service person arrived, went to the unit. Agreed that the fan blade had come off and was defective. Said he'd have to go get the part (which we thought odd, since we'd told them on the phone the part needed). Came back and installed the fan blade in 10 minutes total, and handed us a bill for $200. We showed him the warranty. He said yes, the cost of the blade ($15) was covered, but that he had had to make TWO service calls and they were $100 each.

Ancae gave us an estimate that was fair and detailed. Price included the installation, retro fit and passing code. Workers were on time, professional and explained what they were doing every step of the way.

We had a leak. It was coming from the attic through the ceiling in a bedroom. It had radiator tape over it while we waited for them to come. They finally came out and the guy did not know what was going on. He said he would come out Saturday. He never showed up. We called ANCAE and they did not know what was going on. We were called Sunday night and he said he would be out Monday. Never showed up Monday. That's when we decided that was it.

Nothing they did was correct according to plans and when we contacted them we were treated very rudely.

Ancae responded quickly and efficiently and gave me an appointment the next work day. They sent Rico who is extremely competent. He is a good problem solver and leaves a clean work-site.

THEY HAVE REALLY GOOD WORKERS. THEY DO WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO DO. I PERSONALLY THINK IT IS THE BEST COMPANY AROUND. THEY ARE PLEASANT TO HAVE AROUND. I THINK THEY ARE JUST FANTASTIC.

THEY ARE EXTREMELY RESPONSIVE TO YOUR NEEDS. THEY ARE REALLY GOOD ABOUT STANDING BEHIND THEIR WORK 100%. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE.
