You provided the cost estimate in a timely fashion (less than a day). Your crew came early to conduct the work. You provided me another alternative to the pavers when you were not able to get the original pavers. I must say new pavers are bettering looking than old pavers. Outstanding job!! I was also impressed on how clean your crew left my home. I would definitely hire your company again. :)

I did not wait around for a company that cannot show up on time and had to return to work. Wasted an hour of time from work that I now have to make up.

Work started on time and was completed in 6.5 hours, including cleanup. The work crew performing the work was extremely professional and cleaned up and the work progressed. Jerome is very good about explaining the process and when things will occur. We've used Alliance before for a patio, patio cover and new driveway. We're very happy with how the work is performed and the finished product. Great to work with!

I've been very pleased with the quality of the results. In each landscaping project, I didn't know exactly what I wanted, but Jerome Maldonado was excellent in creating a plan that came out beautifully. The entire process was handled very professionally, from start to finish. The workers arrived on the day promised, and in each case, the work was done quickly. At the end of each day, they went out of their way to make sure the worksite was clean. Changes to the project were discussed when warranted. On the last day, I did a walk around with the workers and they made a number of last-minute "tweeks" to the project to make sure it was finished off to my satisfaction. In all, I've used Alliance Landscaping for 4 separate projects, and will use them again.

Jerome and his crew were professional, friendly and punctual. They did the work beautifully and in the time frame promised. They cleaned up well every day and were a pleasure to work with. We were so pleased with the results, we have already asked them to come back and provide a quote for additional work on another part of our yard. Highly recommend!

Although the estimator was very nice and knowledgeable, there were some misconceptions on my part regarding exactly how the stamped concrete would look. I was shown brochures, but when it came time to pick the actual pattern, I had trouble using the catalog of patterns on the website. It would have been helpful for me to see actual real-life samples of the product. The concrete prep and pour went smoothly; the workers were very polite and efficient. When the job was completed, I was unhappy regarding how it looked. The rep returned and agreed there were some areas that were rougher than he would like to see. He personally returned to work on those areas, and gave me additional information regarding the variability of stamped concrete finishes. When it was all said and done, I was still not completely satisfied on how it looked, so the rep offered me more than fair compensation as a result. Considering this, it is apparent that this company goes the extra mile to ensure their customers are satisfied with the jobs they perform.

After receiving bids from 5 different companies (some of which did not even respond back to my emails) my wife and I decided on Alliance Landscaping LLC for 4 reasons. 1. The owner made us feel comfortable he understood and could perform the work to our very specific requirements. 2. The owner was on time to every meeting and left detailed messages about the project, would answer any questions we had about pricing and construction times and materials and reacting to changes we induced once we had a better idea of what we wanted. 3. After reviewing Angie?s List and other media sites Alliance had an overall satisfaction rating of A+. 4. My wife went to high school and collage with him at West Mesa and UNM. (But did not know this till he showed up at our door). As per his promise work started on the day he said and it was complete on the day he said. The owner made periodic stops by the project to insure I was happy, work was on schedule and his guys were doing ok in the heat and rain. When the job was over he personally came by to thank me for the work and look over the project for any additional details that might have been missed. All of his staff is knowledgeable and masters of their craft. I saw more levels, squares and readjustments during the time his guys were here then I?ve seen in a long time. (I?ve owned 9 homes over my lifetime) I will be hiring him to do additional work in the future.

Jerome listened to our desires for the backyard and came up with a beautiful plan that topped the other 3 landscapers we interviewed. He is very knowledgeable in all aspects of landscaping and had great ideas. The trellis was reinforced with 6" posts set in concrete. We have a lot of wind in our area and we know it is secure. His workers showed up on time and were very polite. Each day they cleaned up. The neighbor next door commented how neat they were. Jerome is a ICPI certified paver installer and is highly recommended by Buildology for installing pavers. They were meticulous with the sub grade preparation. They finished the Belgard Pavers with polymeric sand. We added some extras to the original contract but that was no problem for his men to complete. The backyard was transformed from ugly to beautiful. It is pretty much maintenance free. The lawn is gone so my husband is glad there is no more mowing. Overall, it was a great experience. My husband and I would highly recommend Alliance Landscaping!

This company was the third company I received a quote from for this project. To start Jerome was very professional, helpful and quite knowledgeable about his craft. He told me that it will take 2 days. One day to cut out the existing little concrete pad, prep. the ground and set up the forms. Then the second day they will pour the concrete. then the next morning, just pull the forms. His price was lower than the other 2 companies. Well they did all prep. work, forms and poured the concrete in one day. Also finished this before 5 o'clock. came back the next morning and pulled the forms. It was a great price, great job, looks great too. Very happy with this company.

They did a good job. They did our sod, plants, native plants, irrigation, and concrete work.

I have avoided writing this review for about two years. Angie's List pop-ups nag me every time I log in so I'm relenting. The reason I didn't want to write the review is because I was unhappy with the provider, I got irritated, but I'm not really sure either party gave the other a fair shake. You should take this as a neutral review. I WON'T be doing business with Alliance again, but they might be OK for you. Should you even write a review when you're not sure why what happened did? I'm not sure. Here's what happened: I just built a new home - dirt front and back, and used an Angie's List coupon for a landscape design with Alliance for $89. Sounded great since quotes I had were for about $250. After I bought it I was told it was just for the front or back yard - not both. That came as a surprise to me, but I never called first to see what was included - just bought off the coupon. Alliance did come to the house to meet with my wife, though they were not very flexible on times so I couldn't be there ( I wanted 6PM or later on a weeknight OR during the day on a weekend due to my work hours, but they wouldn't come much past 5 on a weeknight and wouldn't on weekends for that coupon at least). The did prepare a pencil drawing on a piece of 11x14 paper for both the front and back of the house. So you see they gave a bit there doing the entire yard. They "mailed in" the effort on the drawing however. They included standard landscaping features you see everywhere which my wife told me she was specific in saying that she did not want. It was a pleasant - meh - design, not responsive to what she had described. Furthermore as I said, it was a pencil drawing on a piece of paper. Maybe that's how it's done, but I thought it was unprofessional. Everyone seems to use software to render images today so I expected that - something clean, professional, and well labeled that I could let out for bids. This drawing seemed more like what I would expect for free from a designer bidding on my job - his concept. I accepted the drawing, and pitched it in the trash. We never spoke with Alliance again. I'm not even sure they billed us directly. I don't remember if I paid through Angie's list. I may never have paid - it was years ago! I don't think they're bad folks at Alliance, we just failed to launch from day one. It was years ago so I don't know how relevant this is in the landscaping business given likely personnel turnover. I just wrote this review so I wouldn't get the pop up anymore. PLEASE NOTE - the date is not precise! It was the spring of 2013 as we moved into the house that month, but I don't remember the exact date and the field won't accept "Spring 2013" as an entry. Work was performed in Spring 2013.

At my request, Mr. Maldonado came to my home and provided an estimate for the work I defined. I got two other bids on the job. Mr. Maldonado provided the most information and suggestions from the three bids. He called me back the next day and reduced the bid amount, since he discovered he had another job in the area. He was willing to share the savings with me. His work crew arrived on schedule and did the excavation and forming work the first day. They poured and finished the job the next day. Their work was excellent. All of the stated parameters of the job were met. They thoroughly cleaned up the job site. I was most impressed by the professionalism of Mr. Maldonado and his work crew.

It went well. I've used him twice and I've been happy both times. He follows up well and is always on time. He is very friendly and his company is amazing.

Jerome arrived on time for the estimate. Since the job was relatively small for their company, Jerome wrote out an estimate for us on the spot. We had another estimate that was about the same in price, but decided to go with Alliance Landscaping, because of the professional and knowledgeable way Jerome conducted the estimate. A few days later, we signed the agreement, which gave us a starting and ending date. At a little after 8:00 in the morning on the agreed date, a crew of 5-6 men arrived and began work. Jerome came over too, to make sure they understood what had to be done. This job was not a technical one, but a very heavy one. The estimated time for completion of the work was a day and a half. They were finished in one day. The entire crew was professional and very hard-working reasonably quiet for the work that had to be done. The wall is beautiful and very sturdy. The upright posts were dug so deeply into the ground, this wall will hold together for many years to come. And because the old posts were leaning and encroaching into our driveway, the straightened wall makes our driveway wider and easier to navigate for large vehicles. There was a slight misunderstanding regarding two of the upright posts, but the issue was resolved with Jerome and within a couple of days, we had the remaining uprights. We are very pleased with the final product.

The sprinkler is now operating correctly. I am very pleased. Jerome did not charge me for the service and gave me a 30 day guarantee. Thank you, Jerome and Angie's list.

I had them install a new sprinkler system, a drip system for the garden boxes, they filled the garden boxes with dirt, planted a tree, put in mulch and sod, hauled away a bunch of debris and straightened an existing path. A crew of 12 came out and completed the job in 1 day. They did a amazing job and were great at cleaning up after the job. The staff was very efficient and professional. Jerome followed up on several occasions to walk us through the new sprinkler system.

JeromeI had called Alliance back in May and that is when I met Jerome. I was impressed with his knowledge and how he was prompt to our appointment for our first initial walkthrough. Jerome was very attentive and provided great ideas as well. I received an email with the cost and detailed explanation of what we had discussed and was pleased with the quick turnaround time with the bid. After Jerome met me for the second time to make sure we were on the same page, he explained that he would have his staff on that Friday and would have the job completed by Monday (this was not including the crew working on Saturday or Sunday). I was not sure if that was going to be done as he explained but I trusted Jerome and his word. That Friday evening when I arrived home, I was impressed of how much the crew had done in one day. As Jerome had conveyed, the job was completed on that following Monday. Jerome and his staff had gone beyond my expectations and we are pleased with the work they did. I never encountered a landscaping company that worked so efficient and quickly. I also want to thank the staff at the Alliance Landscape office who were always friendly and very helpful when I called into their office. When I had a question, they always returned my call in the same day. I am truly grateful to Alliance Landscape. We recommend Jerome to all of our family and friends. Thank you Jerome!

All work went extremely well. They started work right away. The construction workers were at our place by 8 am everyday. It took them three days to complete the work. They worked around some of our existing installations in a more than satisfactory way. They cleaned up very well after they finished.

I had liked them but the last time I had some difficulties with them. Some of it was my fault because I hadn't read the contract clearly enough. They used a base coat but they didn't put the gravel in. When I read the contract, they did what they were supposed to do. I didn't read the contract close enough so some of it was my fault but they didn't make things clear enough. They were very good at what they did. I think they changed their front office. The woman in the front office wasn't clear on what they did. The main contract director was good. Their communication wasn't very good but their work was okay. They were pretty high priced. I would possibly use them again but I would look around.

This is the second review I have written, the first being when the job was almost completed last summer. I had the first one pulled from the site after Jerome objected to my comments. Since I needed him to address some issues I had with the job, I felt it was the best thing to do. The job was completed, but it is not the job I envisioned when I hired this company to do the work. A year later, I have had to have some of the concrete repaired by Jerome after a stake was buried in the concrete and then became exposed through erosion of the concrete. There are cracks all over the driveway, in the ramp they poured to connect two elevations of concrete, and water pools rather than drains off the patio after rain or the sprinklers come on. I had to replace 2 plants myself which died in the first month. Any questions or concerns I had were addressed only after letting me know how difficult a customer I had been. There were several times I wished I had taped our conversations so I would have a complete record of what I was promised, what was delivered, and the problems I encountered. The first mistake I made was not getting a detailed landscape plan so there was no question about what the job would encompass. Second, I should have done more research on best practices for pouring driveways instead of relying on Jerome's assurance that they met industry standards. (Several neighbors have had similar work done with no major cracking a year later.) Finally, I would have probably researched companies a little deeper rather than relying on a handful of positive reviews.

The service turned out very pleasant. They were fine. They were on time and very reasonable. I don't have any complaints on them.

Jerome was unusually personable and easy to deal with. He is highly knowledgeable about all aspects of landscaping. He was able to translate our ideas and wishes into a lovely plan for our new back yard. From there, he oversaw several crews of extremely hard working, dedicated men. Back at the office, Tammy was always responsive to our concerns and comments. We never felt like we were out of communication as the work progressed. The total time for our job was 2 1/2 weeks after we had the design. Our primary desire was to redo our yard so that it had a cohesive feel and a professional look. We are highly satisfied with the results of our job and feel like we were always treated with honesty and respect. We intend to hire Jerome to build a pergola over our new main deck in the spring.

The job did not go as planned. Poor communication issues involving the landscape contractor, the landscape architect, and the client, coupled with extremely wet weather causing significant job delays, impacted the project in a negative manner. However, the final yard product came out satisfactorily.
