It was great! They were very responsive, arrived on time for the appointment, and had a high degree of technical expertise. Furthermore, they didn't try to sell unnecessary services, and they were very customer oriented. We continue to use them to this day.

Their guy came over and looked at the job. He said he would get back to me with an estimate, but I never heard from him again.

On a recommendation, I hired a well-known local plumbing company whose name begins with the letter "K" and ends in "co".to fix a bathtub faucet leak. The "repair" cost was in excess of $600.00 and consisted of the installation of two new knobs. The "repair" lasted only two weeks before the tub was leaking again, although not as badly as before. Due to a new job, I was unable to schedule contact with this plumbing company until months later. When I did call to explore what options I might have, the owner of the plumbing company became aggressive, telling me it was my own fault for having let the faucet leak. I asked if his company would take a look at it, or if I should find someone else. He told me he didn't care what I did. Not wanting to throw good money after bad, and after having had this encounter with Mr K__co, I called Albuquerque Heating, Cooling & Plumbing. They diagnosed the problem within a few minutes. Ray even called K__co and got them to honor the warranty that they should have honored in the first place for the first job. I also found out that K__co should have replaced the knobs and the faucet for the price I paid. All of this was done at no charge to me. I am very happy with Albuquerque Healting, Cooling & Plumbing. and will call them for future service.

Travis did a verbal estimate for replacing my water heater on 12/31. We discussed options and I elected to get a typical tank water heater but add a hot water recirculation pump. I scheduled the work for later in the week with the expectation that Travis would finalize the time on 1/2. I hadn't heard from him by 11 AM so I sent him a text message and he responded promptly. We scheduled for the next day. Travis arrived during the expected window and completed the job in about three hours. I stayed with him during most of the work and was impressed with his diligence and willingness to adapt to my suggestions. Near the end of the job I had to leave for another appointment so I paid him and asked him to let my wife know when he was done so she could close the house. When I returned I found staples and screws on the garage floor near where we park my wife's car. I was not impressed with the cleanup after the job but I've seen worse. The next day I determined that the hot water re-circulator had been installed incorrectly and was pumping against the water supply instead of out of the hot water tank. I sent Travis a text and he responded promptly and arranged to return on Sunday to fix the installation. He completed the fix in less than half an hour and also added insulation to the supply and hot lines going to the water heater. He did not charge me for the follow-up. I am happy with ultimate result but think it could have been achieved a little more directly and been accomplished a bit more cleanly, especially for the price.

Shawn was very professional and punctual. There was a problem with a water hose that broke on the garbage disposal installation and he had to be called back to fix this. Was very responsive and fixed problem first thing in the morning the next day. We love the hot water return and would defiantly use them again.

He was very nice and knowledgeable- Jason, for our rental home. Someone else came out to check my own furnace. I requested to have Jason come back and he did some work for me. He did it very well and I was satisfied.

Unfortunately doing work on a house on the weekend can be problematic when you run into problems out of your abilities. On a Sunday, installing shelving in a laundry room, I managed to puncture a water line in a wall. This required contacting a plumber on overtime. I looked through my most recent Angie's List magazine and found an add for a plumber with a good rating. Fortunately they had on call personnel. The answering service picked up right away and took very detailed information. The on call plumber called within ten minutes to confirm the information and to inform with me the fact of the rates given the day. As I am about 20 minutes outside of town he said he could be at my house within the hour. The plumber was prompt, courteous and clean. He assessed the damaged quickly and got right to work. Throughout his time on site he was polite, did a thorough job on the repair and kept the work area in good shape. The following morning the office did a follow-up call to be sure I was properly taken care of and happy with the work.

Our heater went out on a Saturday (a very cold Saturday). Albuquerque Plumbing Heating & Cooling came right out that day. Given the age of the heater I opted to have it replaced instead of repaired. They were back Tuesday morning with a new heater. Service was outstanding and very professional. The heater passed it's city inspection on the first go. We were so pleased that we had them come back and service our gas fireplace. It now works better than it ever has.

This has been an ongoing issue for 3 years. He reseated a valve and replaced a can that was leaking. At every step, he explained what he was doing and why. Explained why it wasn't a good idea to flush radiant heat systems (which may have caused the issue in the first place). Very professional and helpful. I think we've finally gotten it fixed.

We had an electrical short with our furnace. APH&C found the problem quickly and fixed it with ease.

We are very happy with the service. They were very responsive and able to schedule us for the same day, as we needed to have the work done before our roofer arrived just a few days later. Scott was great! He arrived right when promised and worked quickly and with a great attitude. I would definitely call them again in the future.

I'm very surprised at the lack of service by this company as I have used them before and they have done a good job. Update two days later: A manager called me from this company and was very apologetic. It seems as though their answering service dropped the ball and did not contact their technician to give me a call and schedule the visit.

When I called, they had someone come out the very next day. Leonard came within the time slot they promised and successfully cleared the drain within minutes. He tested the work by running hot water full blast for several minutes through the sinks and tub to confirm that the drain was working properly. I had tried for several days to clear the drain myself with Liquid Plumr and a hand-cranked snake and believe me it was well worth the their very reasonable prices to have a professional like Leonard come out and do the job in minutes! Call them! You will save yourself hours of frustration!

I called in the morning because my outdoor faucet was leaking and I didn't want it to freeze and create a problem. I spoke to Page who really worked with me to find a convenient time that fit my busy schedule. They were able to come out in the afternoon. Gabe and Ray were extremely professional and replaced both my outer faucets with a much higher quality product. They were prompt and did a great job. Thank you Albuquerque heating and plumbing staff. You are the best.

Gas furnace inspection -- showed up exactly on time, had the proper equipment, and did not try to sell anything extra. Very good experience.

We had been told that the previous owner's bathroom remodeling had been done incorrectly and that there was no air vent installed for the shower drain in our bathroom (we were told that the old vent had been cut off at the floor level and was no longer connected to the roof). We called ABQ Plumbing Heating and Cooling for an estimate on what it would cost to reconnect the air vent from the roof to the shower. ABQ Plumbing Heating and Cooling scheduled someone to come out the very next day! He carefully inspected the situation and told us that we had been misinformed?that there was already an air vent to the roof. He correctly identified the problem as a blockage in the lines instead and provided us three estimates for fixing it, ranging from the simplest (but least effective) to the more complicated but correct way to fix the system with clean-outs. He was careful, thorough and inspires a lot of confidence. We were impressed that he correctly diagnosed the problem (rather than simply going with what we had been told the problem was).

Jason was very polite, explained the problem and was very helpful. I would certainly use them again if needed.

Noticed a problem with my furnace around 6:00 PM on Thanksgiving Eve. Called the after hours number and received a call back from the technician within 10 minutes. By 8:30 PM the problem was resolved.

They did a good job and cleaned up after themselves.

The technician, Mario Gridley, not only did the work but also gave us safety information and other related helpful advice. In addition, he allowed me to ask a question about our faucets, and was willing to share his knowledge. Albuquerque Plumbing and Heating must be doing something right if they can attract skilled, professional, and caring employees like Mr. Gridley. We've had good experiences with this company in the past, and this last job defiantly makes them, and especially their stellar technician, the of the best we've dealt with! I also appreciate that Albuquerque Plumbing and Heating offers a discount to Angie's list members. I'm thankful for the opportunity to do business with them, and will defiantly give them a call next time we need some help with out heating/cooling or plumbing needs.
