A plumber came out and he was very professional. Since I am a woman who lives alone, he explained everything. He did a great job. I remember his name was Leonard. I think the price was very fair. This is someone I would use again. When he got in front of the house, he called and let me know he was there and that it was him out front.

Installation provided on timely basis of toilet I had purchased from Home Depot. After installation, installer informed me there would be no warranty because of condition of ring. Should have shown me problem before installing toilet. About 2 months after installation I noticed toilet was running even though it had not been used. Called company and made appointment for tech to come out and correct problem. Diagnosis was that toilet had been adjusted incorrectly at original installation. Solution: simple adjustment of thumbscrew inside tank that should have been made at time of installation. Problem caused by employee of Albuquerque Plumbing. They did not charge me for labor, but did charge me $65.00, plus tax, for service call. For a problem caused by them, there should have been no charge at all. Lousy customer relations. Will not use again.

The work went really well. The guy who came out was very nice and very friendly. He didn't make fun of me washing egg shells down my drain. He just told me very politely that that was not the best thing to do. So he was very nice. I spent $60.

Made the appt, got a reminder call on Friday April 3rd to confirm my appointment on Monday April 6th. 10 minutes before the scheduled arrival time, the vendor called and wanted me to move my appointment up to later in the day. This was not going to work because I had already scheduled time off of work to accommodate this appointment. I don't trust vendors who are no-shows and so I will not be calling to reschedule with them.

Albuquerque Plumbing Heating & Cooling was the first company to respond to my request for service. And they were able to get their service technician Earnest to my house in less than two hours after talking to them. Earnest first discovered that the bearings on the compressor had failed. He said they had a replacement in stock, and he went back to the shop to get it. After he replaced the compressor, the unit was still vibrating, and he found the fan blade was also broken. He went to a supply shop and installed a new fan blade as well. Apparently, the broken fan blade had worn out the bearings on the compressor. Earnest also cleaned the coils, and the unit is working like new, and the new parts have a one-year warranty. Earnest was very thorough in troubleshooting the necessary repairs. He explained what needed to be done, and what the costs were as the work progressed. I definitely will use this company again for plumbing, heating, and cooling service. They are prompt and professional.

At approximately 6:00pm we discovered that our water heater was leaking. We called ABQ Plumbing Heating & Cooling and Ben arrived 30 minutes later. He inspected the leak and recommended a replacement of the water heater. He drained the old water heater and did some preliminary work before leaving to get the replacement. He returned and installed the new one. He was done a bit before 10pm. Ben did an outstanding job. Everything looks clean and he was very professional. He explained what he was doing and gave a thorough explanation of the new water heater. My only possible complaint concerns price. I'm not sure how the total price compares to what another company would charge. I do believe that I missed out on the 10% Angie's List discount though. I believe I mentioned my membership, but due to the nature of the work, I didn't press the issue. It would be nice and would certainly secure my loyalty if the company would have asked.

Pete with Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating & Cooling arrived on time. He was very professional and got to work right of way. I had the new faucets ready for Pete when he arrived. I was aware that that the angle valves may have to be changed. Sure enough, one broke. I told Pete to go ahead and replace all the angle valves. Pete didn't have 6 angle valves so he had to go out and get them. The house was built in 1991 and so I thought it was best to get them all changed. The master bath vanity has two sinks so the space under the cabinet was very tight. It took more time than I thought because Pete ran into another problem. Pete took care of everything and the Kohler Devonshire Vibrant Brushed Bronze faucets looked very nice and all the plumbing under the cabinets looks good. I'll be calling Pete to install a new down-draft roof evaporative cooler and maybe a new bathroom toilet before summer. He said there is no charge for the estimate.

They completed the work BUT.... The technician did not arrive at the scheduled time. I waited a half hour and did NOT receive notification of delay. I called the office and got voicemail. The technician returned my call after about one hour. The technician and helper were two hours late arriving. I was asked to return to the job site at 6:00 pm to secure the building. Upon my return, they were not complete and I had to wait an hour. The technician wanted me to leave the building UNSECURED the following day so that he would not have to wait for the Inspector. I met the technician and service manager the next morning to arrange their return to meet the Inspector. A fourth employee finished the flex connections after waiting onsite for the Inspector. None of these four employees cleaned their trash in the front yard, heater closet or back porch. The exhaust vent was not installed plumb, leaning offline in two directions. The piece of drywall removed to install the exhaust vent was not replaced. There were two small leaks at the water heater connections. A fifth employee was sent out the next day to correct the problems, bleed the lines and light the pilots. They did complete the work, but not in a professional manner.

very badly. there was obvious leakage behind the shower wall. a man came in and after he cut a foot of perfectly good tubing he called his supervisor who pressured us to re plumb the entire house for $13,000. After we said we just wanted the leak fixed, the same worker came back cut a 2x5 foot hole and repaired the leak at the manifold. He proceeded to use his shop vac to remove the plaster debris. But once he opened it, the wall had mold. He did not cover the furniture, paintings etc and aspirated the plaster with the mold. His vac did not function properly and blew back the plaster debris with the mold into the bedroom. I was at work but my husband said that the dust was so thick in the room you could hardly see. In addition there were five grease spots and tools left on the bedroom carpet We called the assurance adjuster; she advised us to get some mold remover spray and cover the hole with plastic sheet until the proper HAZMAT people could be called to remove the mold entirely. That took four days of having the bathroom tented and us living in separate bedrooms. I send a report to the BBB and a letter of discontent to Albuquerque Plumbing heating and cooling. I received an apologetic.phone call from the CEO who promised to do right by us. I mentioned that the $1,400 dollars he charged us was excessive and the treatment unprofessional. We are still waiting

I can't say enough about what a great job Anthony did. He was attentive to detail, worked rapidly and was responsive to what I wanted done. Since this is not a common plumbing job I was nervous about hiring a contractor, but I had used ABQ Plumbing"s Big Deal last fall for main sewer line inspection and liked the job that they did then. So I took a leap of faith and tried them again. I'm glad I did as Anthony was very knowledgeable, professional and polite. By replacing the trim rings and suction screen, I have a jet bathtub that looks like new for a fraction of the cost. ABQ Plumbing was well worth the money.

Anthony called when he was 30 minutes away from my house to make sure we were available. He removed the old faucet and installed the new one. He showed me how it worked as it has a sensor that needs to be reset. Also tightened a hot water valve that was loose going into the dishwasher. He cleaned up after himself and was efficient yet friendlly. He was in and out within the hour. What more could you ask for.

everything went smooth. installations of both a/c and water heater completed in one day. workers were courtesy,informative,and worked in a professional manner. office personnel were friendly and helpful in getting the job scheduled quickly.

They did a great job. They were on time. They did a thorough job. Two plumbers came out. The price was fair. I would hire them again.

I called the office early on a Sat. morning after discovering water damage in the utility room of my home. A copper pipe inside the wall had burst and I had to shut off the water to my home from behind the water heater. having 3 small children I knew this had to be rectified ASAP! within 45 min. David a technician was at my home, and had the repair done quickly. he was courteous, friendly, and most of all knowledgeable and efficient.

The technician, Loren Downing, was professional and knowledgeable. He troubleshot the problem which was more complex than just a broken valve. He kept us informed at every step what he found and how it would be fixed. The job took about four hours and the heating has been working since it was fixed. Very friendly and courteous. We will definitely use them again.

They were quick. They were prompt. They came when they said they would. Their prices are comparable. The distance to the city sewer has something to do with the price. Our house sits farther from the sewer then other houses.

Main blower was not working on our furnace. He did a great job isolating the problem and providing a very cost effective solution.

Jason was friendly and worked hard. However every time he needs parts, he had to go to Home Depot which is 8 miles away and took total of 2 hours. There is a Lowe's across the street but I guess the company doesn't allow him to purchase items there. The installation took 6 hours. It came out 600 dollars after discount

I've used them couple of times. I feel like the man knew what he was talking about. It went very good. I'd recommend him.

did not complete the job, was quoted completely different price. he was supposed to come back to finish the job...never showed up. I called the company and manager callex back and said that wasn't his department. I have to wait for a different manager to call back monday

Went well as far as the work that was performed, well knowledgable. Over the phone was told the hourly rate was $89 per hour plus cost of parts and would be given a quote. When he arrived was quoted $170 to $190 for the job. I agreed due to leak under cabinet and at home for only a few days before returning back to work out of town. The job only took an hour including going to Home Depot to get 2" PVC pipe and PVC reducer bushings. I paid by the job not the hourly rate plus parts. Receipt does not show the break down of parts and hourly work only quote. Beware jobs are based on the job quote which was two hours of work for me. I paid $182.00 which included 10% Angie's list discount and taxes for only 45 mins of work and 15 mins for Home Depot run. I thought PVC parts and bushing would be standard stock on vehicle.

All this on 12/30/14: Called the shop at 8:30 am as my hot water heater was leaking all over the garage. Kevin was at my house in 30 minutes, turned off the water, drained the heater, discussed options, wrote up an estimate/ work order for a new heater and arranged for the work to be dome immediately. Noon - Carlos and Mike came to the house, removed the leaky unit, replaced it with a new water heater and left the garage spotless at end of the day.. From start to finish, they were attentive my situation, provided professional advice and workmanship to fix the problem and charged a reasonable fee. I am so impressed with the people and the quality of work,. I plan to use Albuquerque Plumbing Heating and Cooling for my future needs.

He neatly removed all the stuff under the sink, then put it back after he was finished. Checked all the connections and for leaks while he was there. For the refrigerator hookup he was thorough clean and pleasant to deal with. Made sure to tell me to take a couple gallons before drinking water would be safe, showed me where the filter was on the fridge and assured me that I could move it out a ways without impacting the water service. I have used this plumber since I moved into my house and he is one that I would highly recommend. Fair prices, office people are nice and responsive, caring, and good work always. Will also make recommendations for what I could or shouldn't do because of exhorbitant amount of service required.
