The electrician was great. He spoke plainly and was very quick to find and resolve the issues.

The technician showed up on time. He told me the float needed to be replaced as did the pump which was burned out. The work was completed to satisfaction, however, I was quoted a price of $230 for the pump alone with a total price of $345 for this service. When I complained and said that I could buy the same pump at Lowe's for $25 and that I would turn them into the Better Business Bureau he "reevaluated" and lowered the price to $44.00 for the pump.

Jarod came out and explained what he would have to do to tap into our water line where the main house shut off valve was located in a bathroom vanity. The system had to be installed in a bedroom closet opposite the bathroom shut off valve. Jarod gave us an estimate and a week later they were out and installed the system. They arrived on time and completed the work within the time frame they had estimated. Very pleased with the work.

Called the office to get an estimate for the work that will need to be done. Was advised by Jordan that they don't give estimates over the phone. When I asked if there was a charges for them to come out to give an estimate she said "the charge is $65.00 to come out to give an estimate but that's deducted from the total if you hire them to do the work so it's like a free estimate" Charging $65.00 for an estimate is not "free" in my book. Very unprofessional and misleading!

The dimmer does not work. It was replaced and the dimmer company was called to verify the dimmer was compatible with the recessed light. It still does not work.

The new unit was installed less than 24 hours from when it was discovered. It cost a bit more than we expected; but we are very happy with the new water heater.

The PVC drain under the sink was old & they replaced it with a new one (which the technician had to drive over to buy at Home Depot.).

Personnel arrived on time and did the work without incident or the old sales push that my furnace is on its last legs (it isn't). Appreciated the tech's frankness.

We had two major plumbing jobs done recently by this company. The first was to replace the water line in the crawl space and to install cleanouts; the second was to replace the sewer line in front of the house. After the second job was done, we noticed that the sprinkler valve in the front of the house had been broken. It sits next to the area where the sewer line work was done. After at least two weeks, much hedging, and many delays, we were finally able to get this valve replaced by the company. However, they did not wire it correctly, and the system could not be controlled from the panel on the back of the house. Today when someone else went to reconfigure it, he completed the work and then claimed that the wires to operate the two sprinkler zones in the front were nonexistent. This is absolutely false; I have lived in this house for 12 years and always had two sprinkler zones in the front yard. This needs to be repaired so that it is back to the way it was before this was all broken, but he claims there's nothing he can do. On top of this, when I asked a simple question about whether or not I should turn the valve on/off or just use the control panel, he said that the whole sprinkler system hadn't been set up but that they would be happy to do yet another project for us and do it the "right way." I don't quite understand how this company can claim to have the expertise to reconfigure our entire system but not fix a minor wiring problem. It feels like we are being manipulated into giving them more projects and therefore more money. I would like this issue fixed without paying them for any other projects. After being unable to resolve this with the plumbers who had done the work on our system, I called the company and spoke to a manager. She was able to send someone out to our house who knew more about sprinkler systems and to finally resolve the problem. The company made it clear that they wanted us to be happy with the service, and the manager was very gracious. I would just like to see this level of communication and professionalism across the board. The people who do the work need to request help if they cannot fix something, and they need to understand that proposing bigger jobs instead of fixing a smaller one is not a good way to instill trust. They can over within 30 minutes of our call and cleared the pipes. They were great and did a thorough job. Drain works great now.

Excellent and respectful work and workers

It went really well even with the surprises which were discovered. Leonard and the men which performed the work were on time every day, performed quality work, and even with the additional repairs the job was done quickly. We really appreciated the time they took to keep us informed every step of the way until the repairs were done.

Charles was awesome! Called 30 min before to let me know he was on his way and again when here to allow me to put a pet in the bedroom to prevent escapes, Very professional, and extremely pleasant to deal with. Found the issue very quickly and fixed it. Checked for CO2 levels also,. Really nice guy and knew what he was doing!

JP was very responsive. He checked out several water heaters that I had questions about and answered all my questions. Trevor did the install and my husband and I were both very pleased with his work. Trevor also took the time to show me how to get my sink (garbage disposal side) to drain better instead of having the plumbing redone. I would definitely recommend JP Plumbery (which I already have and they were very pleased also) to anyone and we will definitely be using them for our future plumbing needs. Thank you JP and Trevor.

Jarod did it quickly, cleanly, at a good price. The company responded the same day I called. Couldn't ask for any better.

1) They pulled up and then buried a lot of new landscaping plants in their excavation pile. Then they refused to re-connect the irrigation system back to the new line because it “wasn’t up to code.” What didn’t get buried in the dirt pile during the work died from lack of water. 2) They quoted me one price for servicing my cooler, charged my husband $30 more with no explanation, and when I called to complain, they asked me to fax in the invoice. I did that, and I never heard from them again. The invoice even said that there was no need for any parts. 3) This week we called to tell them that, once again, our water bill had skyrocketed (over 1000 gallons a day) and asked them to come out and look for a leak. They said they couldn’t come out until Monday, so we made the appointment. They made an appointment for ten to noon, and then called around 12:11 and said "we'll have someone out soon, but if he can't find the leak, we'll need to get a lead detector." Why would they not send that out to begin with when we said there was a leak? Stay tuned. I"ll write more based on how things go. At this point, no matter what, I want a second estimate. I don't trust them any more.

From the estimate to the HVAC crew doing the install. Nothing but professionalism. Even though there were obstacles in the way. That was no problem for these guys. I am glad I choose Albuquerque Plumbing Heating & Cooling.

It went well, and they were very prompt and answered the call very quickly. Courteous and professional. The clog was stubborn and very messy, but he stayed with it and successfully opened up the line.

It went great. He was professional and efficient. We were also impressed with the service call rep who made our same-day appointment!

Their tech Greg was very pleasant and professional. I'd definitely recommend them and would use them again.

This was a 2-part issue, with the first having the technician diagnose the reason the water constantly ran through the softener (a bad piston in the head). He explained that buying the complete head rather than just the piston kit is worth the extra $50 in time savings (his charge) and that I'd have a brand new, warranted component. I actually chose to purchase the head from Amazon and have him come back to install it, along with changing the water filter. A week later, he came out and to my surprise, he was in and out - including a short lesson on programming - within 30 minutes. The technician was pleasant and professional on both occasions, and was very knowledgeable about the softener and hard water in general. The only complaint about ABQ Plumbing Heating and Cooling is the trip charge to the East Mountain area - it's a bit much. I actually had an opportunity to speak with one of the owners and she told me that the company was considering lowering the charge for repeat customers or clustering area appointments so that the technician was covering one area for the day, thus greatly reducing or eliminating the trip charge. For small jobs, such as just changing out the water filter, the trip charge would otherwise be larger than the cost of the job and is just not worth it for me. For Albuquerque residents, I'd say you can't go wrong with ABQ Plumbing. I've used them three times and have never had a single problem. And I've found that the management is very responsive. I've also heard that they do a good job on the commercial side - Ray Day used to work on the residence side, and he's about as good as they get!

So after paying over $80 for a repair quote, where he told us it would cost around $600 to fix, it turned out the ONLY thing wrong with our heater is the damper wasn't placed correctly and the heater was shutting off because the switch was sensing it was over-heating. Other than moving the damper to the correct position, because it had slipped, there was 100% NOTHING WRONG with our heater. Now I'm out $80+ and thank goodness I didn't agree to the $600 fix!

Came and responded in a timely manner, fixed the problem quickly.

They are excellent. Came out and gave us a quote on our heating and a/c unit. They found things the other company we had out did not, so they are good.
