Description of Work: They snaked our main sewer line which removed a lot of tree roots. Then a video inspection of the sewer was done, as I watched. An opinion of what was needed to be done was provided. They provided an estimate of the proposed work.

Description of Work: We have used this company before and are always pleased with the results. They came in to flush our water heater (which we could have done ourselves if we weren't so busy) and also checked the whole house for gas leaks. They also gave us some plumbing advice for our bathtub faucets.

Description of Work: We contacted this company after purchasing a deal. Ray, a very nice and helpful individual, came and installed faucets per the deal. While he was here, I started talking about other plumbing issues we had, e.g. two leaky hose bibs. I also mentioned to him that getting hot water to our kitchen faucets wasted two gallons of water before it was hot. Ray suggested a system that he would, and did, install on our hot water tank that would solve our problem. We decided in having that feature, but somehow during that time he suggested a new water tank for us. It was a surprise to us because the one we had was only seven years old. But somehow we agreed to replace it, thus the expenses listed. A few days later I noticed that the hot water now wasted a gallon of water (an improvement to the two before), but the cold water was lukewarm and took another gallon to get it cold. We called Ray and told him we didn’t want that and he came back and took it out. We were credited $280.70. Note: I was very surprised that the invoice did not list each item separately, so we never knew what the individual prices were.

Description of Work: Overall inspection and check of the heating system, including operation and filter check. I felt the technician was very thorough, polite, and very professional. He even saw that the gas line to the hot water heater (recently replaced) was improperly installed, and corrected it for me with no extra charge! Very pleased with overall visit!

Description of Work: checked furnace operation, cleaned various areas, checked for possible gas leaks, checked that CO monitor installed. this was $11 less than previous service from another co. so I appreciated saving the money. Serviceman called to let me know when to expect him.

I spoke to Craig about other services the company offered and I was informed that they do install furnances. Well this is important because I need a furnace installed in my home. Thank You

Description of Work: My gas furnace was inspected. It was a very cursory check. I've had gas furnace checks before that were far more detailed and extensive than what was performed by the technician.

Description of Work: Coupon was for routine seasonal maintenance of HVAC system. We have a geo-thermal system and the AC has not been working. Ken arrived on time, went right to work and found that a wire providing electricity to the compressor had come off the mounting. A previous "service" man had missed this completely and simply tried to sell us a new system ($7800). Ken was able to quickly diagnose the problem and fix it for the price of the coupon. He was courteous, responsive and kept me informed as he went along.

Description of Work: They performed a comprehensive whole house inspection of all our plumbing in addition to performing a water heater flush. The inspection was very helpful because I learned that my water heater was in even worse shape than I suspected. We're having it replaced ASAP, in addition to some other services.

Description of Work: We had our entire house re-plumbed with flex tubing. They also installed a soft water conditioner and pressure pump. Shane from Albuq. plumbing was the individual that provided our estimate and installed the project. This really helped to complete the job without any misunderstandings of what was estimated. He provided us with valuable information as to the operations of the system and a complete walk through that was very thorough and professional. We were very pleased with the entire project which was completed well within the projected time. He and his co-worker completed the project with minimal cutting into the wallboard and cleaned up after themselves to my wives' expectations. Description of Work: I found Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating, & Cooling (A P H & C) via the Angie's List magazine. A P H & C went way above the normal in providing super service: My swamp cooler suddenly lost 50% of it's cooling. I was leaving on July 4th for an out of the country vacation and wanted my house sitter to be comfortable, so I was really worried re: getting things fixed in time. The dispatcher got all this info and went out of her way to get me a technician asap. A P, H & C actually came out 3 times to help me diagnose and correct the problem, which was poorly constructed rotating cooling pads for our older Sears swamp cooler. The first call, technician Brian discovered that one pad had jammed & burned out a motor. He installed the replacement pads we had on hand & a replacement motor. But the new pads were as poorly constructed as the one that jammed & within the week I had the same problem -- 2 days before i was to leave. APH&C called to see how the initial repair was doing and one of the owners came out immediately to reassess & discovered the 2nd jam -- without charging. I decided to try to find better quality pads, which I was able to do but it took me a day to locate and purchase them. Then, Brian called as he was finishing his last call on July 3rd, about 4 pm, to see how I was doing. He came over immediately and installed the better pads for me. I could have kissed him, but I just gave him my first ripe homegrown tomatoes instead. I was very grateful and impressed with A P H & C. They have my business for as long as I'm in Albuquerque & I recommend them very strongly.

Description of Work: Albuquerque Plumbing installed our new water softener with alacrity and professionalism in April--and saved us money in the process. They advised us in advance that we could buy the softener ourselves, and pick it up rather than have it delivered. We did this two days in advance of the installation, and Albuquerque Plumbing moved it from our Jeep to the installation site. These people are fantastic and we shall use them in the future for all of our plumbing needs.

Description of Work: They put a new heater in a few years ago. Then I had them come back and do some repairs on it.

Description of Work: They augered the master bath toilet in a rental house I own and did not clear the problem. The toilet would not even flush a single piece of tissue after they were done. I called and asked for a warranty service call and they would not do it. I paid $96 for a guy to spend 10 minutes in the house and not clear the drain. I ended up removing the toilet from the floor and clearing the clog myself from the bottom of the toilet. It was 5 or 6 q-tips spread across the opening holding back the toilet paper from moving through

Description of Work: Gabe came out right on time for a scheduled estimate. He was polite. I told him when I got my furnace serviced in the fall, I was told that my duct work was rusted out and needed to be replaced. Gabe looked at the ducts from the swamp cooler and announced that they were fine; I just needed a whole new swamp cooler since the unit's blades were badly rusted. He told me they would call me to set up the installation. I got the written estimate in the mail, $1, 636.03 for the installation and new swamp cooler. THEY NEVER CALLED ME FOR THE INSTALLATION APPOINTMENT! I decided to get another opinion and low and behold, was told my swamp cooler was fine...it just needed a good cleaning and would last a few more seasons! My opinion: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY...THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF! Now I'm going to write a GREAT review of that other, honest guy who will get my business when I really need a new swamp cooler!
