Description of Work: Do not use this company. They scammed us big time. The lied and put four men on the job. From the beginning to the end of the job they kept coming late , said they had doctors appointment, etc. etc. . They charged us for that time off the job!!! Beware of this company. They are very dishonest and will charge a lot more than the job is worth.

Description of Work: Two of the toilets in our house were unstable. The plumber pulled one, moved the bolts, replaced the wax seal. on the other just tightened the bolts. Caulked around all 3 toilets.

Description of Work: I had purchased a "coupon" for $160 to have a sewer line inspection with a video. I paid $48 more for the extra tech. I did not get the video as I was told over the phone. The plumber did not put a usb on his camera. He told me I was supposed to ask him before he started and give him my usb flash drive to put on the camera. I think he just forgot or the office dispatcher has a different idea about how it all works. She told me she would mail me a dvd or I could put it on my computer directly form their usb. I don't know and I really don't need it. He assured me that all was clear and the main point was he saved me $500. I did not have a clean out drain and he and another tech had to go to the roof. With the camera and another device he found that I did indeed have a clean out drains (in and out) that were buried after 40 years of the life of the house. He dug up one of the valves and the other is under some landscaping. He did not want to disturb that but showed me where it was. I am going to get some landscaping material to id the spots and prevent them from being covered in the future. A new clean out drain is $500 or more and is the code for houses now so when I sell I would have had to put them in.....

Description of Work: I called Abq Plumbing because of the high grades they received on Angie's list. When I called to schedule the appointment I indicated that I found them via Angie's list and said that I had a coupon. The receptionist was very friendly and scheduled an appointment at a reasonable date and 2 hour time window between 8-10am. The morning of the appointment the plumber arrived shortly after 9am. He listened to my needs, assured me that the water softener would take care of my hard water concerns. He took a sample of water to be tested to ensure proper equipment. We discussed a tankless water heater and he said he could offer a discount installing both at the same time. He then told me that if I bought their service warranty for my swamp cooler and furnace I could get 10% off the price of the water softener and water heater. He said this discount would be better than the Angie's list discount. He got me a quote via email that same afternoon and I was surprised at how expensive it was going to be. When I asked for a brochure on the products they were installing they said they would give me the information during the install. The quote described a Sodeco 24K unit. The Abq Plumbing quote guaranteed a 1 year warranty on parts and labor and offered 5 salt bags. They quoted me Doing my homework showed that Sodeco sells

Description of Work: I thought the disposal was broken. It was clogged. The technician showed me how to unclog the disposal but did not charge me because it was quick and simple.

Description of Work: The best!!!!! Worked with me and my chaotic schedule. Once they were here and did the inspection for my heating systems the tech made sure I was well informed with info, tips for current use and what my needs may be for the next yr. or two. Valuable info for someone on a budget these days. Will be a repeat customer.

Description of Work: Our cat sitter told us our furnace went out and we were out of town. Big problem because we have a 20 year old cat that had just received the lion cut and was basically fur less. We were very concern about his health at his age they get cold very quickly even when they have fur . Albuquerque Heating and Plumbing came out quickly, giving it priority and fixed the problem. They were very responsive.

Description of Work: The quality of service was excellent! The technician, Ray, inspected all heating, cooling, and plumbing units thoroughly. Ray was very informative and provided great information on how to maintain the various units. He was very thorough in his inspections and maintenance tasks. I would highly recommend this company and I will definitely be using their services in the future.

Description of Work: Very prompt initially. Were able to get an appointment within a few days. Was always early (never late) to appointments. When they had to order a part, they did take some time to get back to me about when they would come again. After a week or so, I had to call them back and ask what the status was. However, they then promptly scheduled the next appointment and finished the job.

Description of Work: The technician performed a very complete furnace/AC tuneup. He found things that had been misadjusted for years. He explained the reasons behind his recommendations. Upon request he evaluated and did an on-the-spot estimate for upgrading my inefficient maze of ductwork in the crawl space. Upon request he inspected and made a recommendation for my non-functioning humidifier. Excellent service!!!

Description of Work: "In general my experience was positive. The only problem I had was when I called back about 4 month after the installation to request service. It took more than a week for someone came to my home to check on my concern. The office said the man who should respond was already on another call and would be sent when that job was completed. Of course the job lasted longer than expected. This would seem to be a problem when dealing with a small company."

Description of Work: This was an Angie's List coupon. My furnace was checked (including carbon monoxide levels) and the filter was changed. The workman got back to me with a quote for converting to refrigerated air.

Description of Work: I had a stopped toilet. I did not have a tool to clear it out myself so I called this company from Angie's List. They made an appt for the next day. I have 2 toilets so it I was not in a hurry. I thought about it and decided that I would be better off getting the discounted "coupon" for $160 to have my sewer line inspected and cleared. My thought was that I would have peace of mind about my line and the clog would be cleared at the same time. I called to change the appointment and told the scheduler my logic for the change. The plumber arrived on time at about 8:30 in the morning. He said he was there to unclog my toilet. I thold him about the change and he said ok but since he would have to go on the roof it would take another person and add more cost to the $160. I knew this was possible because it was stated in the coupon. I decided it was better to have them install a street clean out valve as that is current code on newer construction. Then the plumber cleared out the toilet. I was a little suprised because I told him I wanted to wait until the line was cleared out to see if the problem would be taken care of at that time. He did not "discuss" it with me he just did it.... So I paid the $87 and I still have the $160 coupon. I will use that in the next 6 months before it expires. The valve was quoted at about $500 so I am waiting to get the money together.

Description of Work: Plumber came to the house.Told him we had 3 things that needed doing.The most important was the shower faucets.explained that one of them wouldnt turn.He didnt both to take off the handles to even look at the valve stem.Before cutting a hole 12x12 in the wall to look at the pipes.He told me that the price to remove and put new valve body was $475.He told us that the piece was hard to find as it was old.He said he didnt have the pieces with him and would have to go get them.On returning he said he would make another appointment as the suppliers we closed early for thanksgiving.I decided to source the parts for my self.I found the stems for the shower at Kenco for $29.00 and put them in myself.I have used this company before twice and have been happy with their work.I was pleased that Thanksgiving was the next day as it gave me time to think about the cost and to enjoy some turkey.I believe that this company does good work but was unhappy with them this time.However i still have a 12x12 hole in the wall that i must repair.Thank you

Description of Work: This review is basically an average between the actual work performed by Ray, the employee who came to my house and performed the work, and the company/scheduler/main office. Ray was on time, did excellent work, did some extra work on an outside faucet that was in addition to what was supposed to be covered by the Angie's List "Big Deal". He was professional and helpful, and even performed some inspections that his company assured me was NOT in the agreement and would not be done (but also didn't do some of the plumbing inspections that were supposed to be done...). I would give him an A or B for all relevant categories above. But I wouldn't hire this company again because from the beginning they harassed me about what was included in the "Big Deal" They insisted that it was ONLY a water heater flush, even though I sent them a fax of the Big Deal which showed everything that was included, such as whole house inspection of plumbing, heating and AC units. They first told me that the whole house inspection cost $89, instead of the $49 I had paid, and after I sent them the fax (which I had to go to Fedex Office to do, since my computer doesn't have fax capabilities), they didn't respond for nearly a week, and then continued to say that I would only get a water heater flush! So "F" to the company for overall lousy customer service, and kudos to Ray for having to put up with them!

Description of Work: I took advantage of the faucet installation for $85. The tech was professional, punctual and very pleasant. While at the house I also had him look at a tub faucet that need replacing, that I didn't have the tools for. The tech spent a fair amount of time checking it out and trying to access it, but in the end we decided that we needed to cut some tile out to gain access to the faucet cartridge. He did not charge for any time for the tub investigation since he said he didn't do anything. I was very pleased with the work. I did however give a B for quality because since he left, the kitchen faucet has started to come loose and needs tightening.
