Description of Work: The plumber replaced the toilet flange, stopping the leak. Although we thought the price was somewhat high in our estimation, he did an excellent job, and was professional in every way. He left the bathroom clean and even added caulking to the bottom of the toilet. We would definitely use this company again.

Description of Work: Our water heater broke. They came and looked at it, and said that it needed to be replaced. He offered several replacement options, and came back two days later and installed the new water heater. It works great, and he was very professional and quick.

Description of Work: Gas leak repair in one apartment of a four-plex. Two weeks previous, Albuquerque plumbing Heating & Cooling also responded promptly to a clogged drain call for another apartment. As I travel extensively, I rely on Albuquerque plumbing Heating & Cooling to take care of tenant issues when I am out of town. In both cases, Jason(excellent service tech) was on the property within 45 min and called me with a report of his findings and completed the repair. Excellent service!!!

Description of Work: Our air conditioner was blowing, but cold air wasn't coming out. The repairman came out pretty quickly. He was very professional. He was concerned that the repair could be expensive but went through some cheaper alternatives first. Fortunately, one of the cheaper alternatives worked and soon our air conditioner was blowing cold air again. The repairman seemed to care and go the extra distance to make the repair happen quickly.

Description of Work: I called Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating and Cooling to do a "change over" - shut down our swamp cooler and start up the furnace. The furnace wouldn't turn on. It turned out to be a burned out fuse. Efrain discovered what the problem was and stayed late to fix it. He was very knowledgeable, polite and professional. Our furnace works great and I have recommended Efrain and Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating and Cooling to our friends and coworkers.

Description of Work: Our air conditioner wasn't working so I called about 9:30 on the morning of Sept 27. The service call was scheduled for 1:00 that afternoon. However the technician called around 11:00 to let me know he was in the vicinity and wanted to know if it would be alright to come by now. He showed up at 11:15, replaced a condenser motor and was gone by 11:40. I had a hurt knee at the time and was not able to get down and replace my wall filter which I had removed when trying to trouble shoot the problem. The technician noticed it and offered to put it back in for me. .

Description of Work: One of our airconditioners was not cooling properly. Gabe of Albuquerque Plumbing arrived within the set time frame, checked both units, replaced the filters and topped the refrigerant on the unit that was not working properly. Since we have only recently moved into this area and this house, he patiently explained not only our airconditioners, but also our radiant heating system. He was courteous, informative and very professional. We will definitely call on Albuquerque Plumbing for any future heating, a/c and plumbing needs for our home.

Description of Work: The main inside water connection to the house needed to be connected. Another individual not related to this company had started the job and left us in a lurch and was unable to complete it. Anthony and Ryan arrived after hours and went to work immediately installing a new shut off valve, etc. They completed in one hour what the other individual had been unable to do in two days. We will be using Albuquerque Plumbing Heating a& Cooling for all our needs in the future. We made the initial call just after 4:30 PM and was assured by the cheerful and competent offfice staff that I would get help that evening. Thank you to Angie's list f and most of all thank you to Albuquerque Plumbing Heating & Cooling. We have already made recommendation to several of our neighbors and friends. We felt the cost was very resonable since this was an emergency call after hours.

Description of Work: This was the second time we used this company. We were so impressed and pleased with our first experience that we called them back when our own handyman could not unclog our double drain kitchen sink. This time they sent a drain specialist who power snaked out the pipe that was clogged 12 feet out. He then pointed out that our 1958 pipes could not be reassembled tightly due to extreme age. He offered to reattach the pipes or use new piping which would not leak. (We could have called our handyman for the new piping if we chose). We chose to have Ephrain complete the job then and there. He went to the shop to get parts and promptly returned to complete the job. He finished the entire job within a one hour time frame and we were charged about $80 for the visit and about $50 for parts. Our call was promptly answered, an appointment for the next day was set and Ephrain called the next day offering to come earlier. The job was actually done earlier than expected. The plumber was unfailingly courteous, professional, and solved our problem completely. We were again totally pleased to have chosen Albuquerque Plumbing Heating & Cooling and we would not hesitate to choose them again for our plumbing needs or to recommend them to our friends.

Description of Work: I called them about a cooler that has never worked right, not since we bought this house. They were able to schedule someone to come out within two days, and they showed up in time and worked fast. He answered all my questions, explained and showed me exactly what was wrong, and fixed it for reasonable price. They are absolutely on my permanent call list from now on.

Description of Work: Heat Pump/Ac unit not putting out cold air. Matt arrived on time, went to work right away, looked for solutions to the problem very methodically. Very professional service and explained everything clearly. Excellent work done and made good recommendations for the future. Overall I would say an excellent and honest company.

Description of Work: Refrigerated a/c stopped working I called them and was told they could come the same day but it probably would be after hours at extra cost.During the day Matt called and said he could come during regular hours.He came discovered the problem (capacitor failed ) He looked on his truck and didn't have a replacement. He left to get one and when he returned, after about an hour, he told me that after he purchased a new one he found he had one on the truck and would not charge me for the time spent unnecessarily going for a new one.If Matt's honesty is representative of this company, they and he are something special. Matt was knowledgeable, professional and very thorough.I was so pleased with this experience that in addition to this repair I purchased an annual service contract from them. Note this was at my request and not pushed on me by Matt.

Description of Work: Ray was excellent! He fixed and outdoor faucet leak, turned on and serviced the mastercool and showed me what is necessary to maintain it in good working order. He also checked my furnace and hot water tank and answered any questions that I had. I consider them to be my family plumber now. Very good experience.

Description of Work: I had a leak behind my bathtub. I called the plumbing company I have used for years and they couldn't come out for 5 days! I used Angie's list and found Albuquerque Plumbing. They were out that evening, capped the pipes to stop the leak and were out Monday to resolve the problem. They were reasonable, effective, and professional. Tim also went under the house to check for other leaks and replaced the filter in my furnace which is under the house. He was very helpful and may have a solution to how I can avoid crawling under the house to replace the filter in the future. My other company has lost a customer since I liked Albuquerque Heating and Cooling so much!

Description of Work: We had two pipes freeze and burst on 2/3/11 and Alb Plumbing was called because of our prior experience with Alb Plumbing. We turned off the water. They came by within a few hours and got the pipes capped temporarily so we had water. They returned on 2/9/11 to replace the pipes. We feel they went out of their way to take care of us when the the situation was looking like life without water. We could not be more pleased.

Description of Work: Ken removed an old water softener and and repiped a loop of copper pipe so that the GMX rep could mount the water conditioner units. Ken arranged his times to coordinate with the GMX rep. I was so pleased with the service shown by Ken. Very unlike pervious plumbers I have used in the past. On time, did the job, carried away the old junk. You can't get better than that!

Description of Work: I have 3 AC units, two old and one new. One of the older ones needed a little tlc and the newer one needed freon. These guys were quick an fair. I had asked them to come by to do a check up before the season change and they didn't gouge me!

Description of Work: Just got a new refrigerator and the delivery guy did not have the proper valve to hook up the water. So we called ABQ plumibing and they came out 2 hours after we called them and hooked the line up for us. Excellent polite will call them again if anything else comes up and will recommend them to everyone.

Description of Work: Thermocouple in heater failed. ABQ Plumbing spotted and fixed it.
