Albuquerque Discount Movers

These guys were great very professional and they are great cat catchers. We had a cat that got out of its box 3 time and they were able to catch it and made a special box just for the cat. Moved a 2 bedroom apartment from north Albuquerque to Los Lunas and they packed everything with care by 3 great guys. Will use them for our next move.

Arnold and his crew were punctual, responsive to requests, and most of all very careful with every single item that was moved. Every piece of furniture looks great in its new place! We would definitely use them again.

The lady at the office was extremely patient & accommodating. She even stayed late on the evening before my move to rearrange my moving time when I realized my POD wasn't going to arrive on time. The movers are very professional, courteous, & hard-working. They even carried a heavy desk down the stairs for me, even though it wasn't part of the move. I only regret that I can't take them with me out of state to move me in to my new home.

The team of 2 arrived earlier than scheduled and worked carefully and quickly. The only difficulty in the whole process was getting confirmation call and scheduling from the company but other than that they were excellent.

They were so kind. They brought boxes and even helped me pack. They then drove the items to another location and in-loaded them. Nothing was broken. I would defenilly use them again.

Excellent. Movers showed up on time and worked until the job was done. They were very attentive to our needs and requests and never seemed to get frustrated with us. They worked quickly and were very careful in their work. They did have a couple of instances where things were broken but they owned the mistakes and took care of the issues without question.

Arrived on time and worked rapidly and diligently until all items were moved. Very professional. All items arrived at new residence in excellent condition. Set up everything as I requested. Very reasonable price.

They have very little extra charge for the time to load and unload. They moved the piano a hundred miles for me many years ago and that went well. There was not a scratch on it.

These movers are the best I've ever dealt with. They were very careful with our things and I never heard them complain once. They arrived on time and were ready to start working & didn't take any breaks. They placed our furniture where we asked them to and even gladly moved them again when we changed our minds. I would definitely use them again.

My experience with these guys was great! My moving crew, Arnold and Julio, were on time, professional and hard working nice guys. They worked very efficiently and took good care of my furniture and boxes as they loaded and unloaded it from their truck. They completed the job in less time than I thought it would take. There were no hidden costs or surprise fees and the total was very reasonable for all the work they did. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing local movers.

The Belen move went without a hitch. They underestimated the size of the Edgewood move and had to make 2 trips, but they still finished on time and on budget. We were very pleased with all aspects of the service.

The moving company had strong recommendations on Angie's List so I decided to call them. From my initial contact with Tina, I was impressed. She was very efficient in providing me with information, answering all my questions and following up with a confirmation email. The movers arrived on time, carefully wrapped all of my furniture and moved the furniture and boxes into the truck. Julio and Joe were both friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The truck was unloaded at my new residence with the same care and efficiency. The entire 2.5 mile move took 3 hours. The cost was set per hour with an additional hour to cover travel. I was very pleased with the entire move and would certainly recommend the company without reservation.

I was unable to schedule to the services on the days the had available. They responded promptly and tried to get a date for me that would work. Unfortunately we couldn't agree on a date and I had to go with another company, but I have no issues with these guys.

The move was scheduled for what turned out to be the first snowy day in Santa Fe. I was afraid it would have to be postponed, but they made it up from Alb. and got me moved, carrying everything out through the snow The two movers worked diligently and quickly. They were extremely professional and their part of the process was easy. I have a lot of furniture and I was nervous about bumps and scrapes from previous experience, but everything was unloaded in good condition. I chose this company because it was the highest rated on Angie's List. That rating is well-deserved. I will use them again, if, heaven forbid, I have to move again. I highly recommend them.

2 persons came. They were late but when work started, they move fast. They are professional and courteous. Will definitely us again.

Two men came for this job. They were wonderful! They worked so hard from the minute they arrived and finished the work in a little less than 2 hours. They were very friendly, professional, and careful with our belongings. We moved out of state and everything arrived safely with no damage whatsoever. I highly recommend them!

They were absolutely great! Nice group of people, fast and efficient. I thought it was a very reasonable cost for all the work they had to do. They came in and wasted no time getting to work. They were very careful to confirm what needed moving and what didn't and if they weren't sure, they'd ask again to confirm. The were careful with all of our belongings and were careful to not nick walls or break anything. Incidentally, all of my boxes didn't get marked as to where they go and I left some odd-shaped things unpacked -not knowing what to do with them and they were very nice to pack things in trash bags for me and ask where I wanted the unmarked boxes when we arrived at the new home. Thanks so much!!!!

Everything went very well until the last 90 minutes of the move. The movers wanted to leave before they were finished. My wife and I had to take them back to perform walkthroughs of the 4th floor apartment three times because they kept leaving items in the apartment. Even after the last walkthrough there were still items left in the apartment. It's sad that a good experience had to turn into a root canal. I can understand Joe and his team wanting to start their weekend, as we did too. A lot of grief would have been avoided if things were performed correctly. We should have not done the same walkthrough three times. As it was, by the time they left our confidence in their ability and work ethic was pretty well trashed.

Everything went smoothly! They phoned on the day of the move to let us know when they'd arrive, and they arrived within one minute of that time. They got straight to work. We had had a miscommunication when we arranged for the move (our fault, not theirs). They weren't aware that we needed them to pack some of our things, so they hadn't brought supplies. However, they were willing to use our supplies and they got the job done quickly and efficiently. Our move was a bit unusual in two ways: (1) We left a lot of furniture and stuff behind for the next owners (my in-laws), and my husband set up a system so the movers would know what was staying and what was going. He also color-coded each box with a sticker indicating where it would go in the new house. They had no trouble at all following his (slightly OCD) system. (2) We have several thousand hardcover books that went in 75 boxes weighing 50 pounds each. We packed those ourselves, but the movers had to place them upstairs in the new house. They were complete champs about it! The movers were professional, easy-going, and fun to be around. No items were damaged, and no damage was done to either house. Not a single scratch! I would recommend Albuquerque Discount Movers without hesitation to anyone!

This was our second experience with Discount Movers and it was excellent as was our first move. They were prompt, careful and really knew what they were doing. They were efficient and moved our belongings with great care. We would absolutely recommend them!

From the very beginning, we were very pleased with the service from Albuquerque Discount Movers. Tina was wonderful to work with and she accommodated our schedule when we had to change the move dates a couple of times. The price for the move was very reasonable, they spent over 6 hours and everything was handled with care. We have a few more things to move in the future and will be using this company again - no question !

Arnold and Daron, our moving team, were amazing. They worked quick but efficiently and showed us how they were packing the truck to ensure the safe delivery of all our belongings. They worked a very long day and were fabulous in their attention to making sure each box and piece of furniture ended up in the right room. I would use them again in a heartbeat. Tina in the office was friendly and easy to work with, but there was a little bit of a scheduling mistake in that we had set up a three-man crew, but they were only able to supply two men. Regardless, the team of Arnold and Daron worked their tails off to make our move as painless as possible. I would not hesitate to use them again and would confidently recommend them to others.

The 4 workers showed up early. They were friendly and professional. They worked extremely hard and they were fast. Even though they were fast, they were very careful. It was a large move, but they were very efficient in how they planned the move. Once loaded, they took a short, well deserved break before unloading. Even though they had to be tired, they did just as good in unloading and setting up. Much to our surprise we were able to comfortably spend the first night in our new home. I would highly recommend them. I've moved my office several times over the past 15 years and used different movers. Albuquerque Discount Movers by far was the best company I've ever used.
