 + 2 moreBecause the flooding caused not only damage to the bathroom furniture but also severe mold that spread throughout the room, Albert had to gut the room, tearing out the vanity, the shower, a garden tub, the walls and insulation up four feet from the floor, and the tile. After cleaning up the mold, he installed new vanities, sinks, and fixtures, built a new shower, installed new insulation and rebuilt the walls, and retiled the entire room. Not only that, he took us shopping--for the vanities, the fixtures, the mirrors, the glass shower enclosure, and the tile. He also did everything he could to keep our costs down and to ensure that we chose appropriate kinds of fixtures. He even picked up and delivered everything needed to redo the bathroom.
Description of Work: Complete reconstruction of our bathroom after it was flooded.

 + -1 moreWhat prompted me to call him was that he was on Angie's List. He did a good work. He did it on time and he did a good job. The pricing was fair. I had a couple of estimates and his estimate was right in there. He had a good crew out here.

Description of Work: In my opinion Albert Bertoti is the best contractor in Albuquerque for remodeling kitchens, tile installation, building decks and similar projects. Over the past four years he has replaced tile in two rooms of my home, built a sleeping porch, completely remodeled my kitchen, filled in a swimming pool and landscaped the area plus supervised the installation of a completely new HVAC system, most recently helped me with getting proposals and oversaw the installation of 27 new windows. All project were top quality at very reasonable costs. Albert had years of experience running his own large tile company in NY before moving to Albuquerque. He has a excellent sense of aesthetics, never interrupted a project before it was finished and is completely trustworthy.

 + 1 moreThe service went really well. He did anything that we wanted him to do. He did some work that he didn't charge us for. He did everything on time and to our satisfaction. He said he wouldn't accept a penny unless it was to our satisfaction. He was excellent. His pricing was the best of all that we talked to. I am going to use him again next week.
Description of Work: Albert Bertoti did some general remodeling work that included tile, woodwork on the outside of the house, and repair of a wall.

 + 3 moreI am delighted with the transformation of my home and the way Albert found ways to provide high end results at a very reasonable cost. The only hang-ups were bad weather days that prevented outdoor work. Overall, Albert's design ideas and workmanship far exceeded my expectations.
Description of Work: Since mid-2008 Albert Bertoti has completely remodeled my kitchen, added a room to my house, tiled bathroom and bedroom floors , landscaped 1 acre with multiple patios and built a deck, and supervised the installation of three new furnaces and a/c's. Albert is that rare individual who thoroughly thinks though a project in advance and comes up with tasteful and practical designs. He is an experienced contractor able to find capable helpers. His workmanship is excellent workmanship and all costs were well below all other estimates I had received. He is very honest, professional, does not leave a project until it is finished. The above amount I spent covers all projects listed here.
