Eric Chavez promptly returned my call to come to our house to assess replacement of several skylights. He showed up on the day and time he promised, he examined all 18 of our skylights, and he identified 7 that need to be replaced. He provided a very price-competitive bid, which we accepted. He subsequently arranged to have the skylights fabricated, including powder-coating the frames to meet our HOA's requirements for color matching specification. He installed them on the date agreed upon. Overall, he was responsive in a prompt manner, was attentive to our needs, and he was wonderfully professional. I would certainly hire Eric and his company again for any additional skylight replacements.

Eric came and inspected the leaky and cracked existing skylights and made a written quote before he left. The price was very reasonable so we approved the order on the spot. A couple of weeks later Eric called and said the skylights were ready to install and set an appointment to come out and do the installation. He installed complete gaskets (there were none on the existing skylights) and had the skylights installed in a couple of hours. The job was done neatly and cleanly and we're very happy now that our skylights have a clean, bright look and aren't leaking in the rain anymore. Eric is a fine fella to deal with, you'll be very happy working with him as we were.

He even gave me some tips about maintaining my roof, as not only was the skylight cracking, but the roofing material around the window (which he fixed) was also in really bad shape. The window looks great!

Though based in Albuquerque, showed up in Santa Fe on the day we called. Custom skylights were installed two days later. Do not know how price compared to other companies. Another company never returned with an estimate.

We called the company and Eric Chavez was extremely responsive and made a special effort to get out to our home and replace the skylight. It was not possible to deal with the day of the event because of the rain and the metal roof which made attempting a repair too dangerous. But he was able to get a new 4'x4' non-crank skylight prepared and installed the day after the skylight blew off. We would recommend Eric and the Advanced Skylight Systems company without reservation

Very well; the works done on time and the results were excellent.

He inspected my skylights and determined that it wasn't the issue. The flashing and roof cement/caulking had deteriorated. He gave me advice on how to repair. My skylights are not very energy efficient--when I decide to replace I'll definitely call Eric Chavez at Advanced. I asked for a rough estimate of the cost in that eventuality and received a very reasonable bid.

I made an appointment with Eric (co-owner and installer). He was on time and provided me with an estimate. They were manufactured locally and installed on the date promised. The service was professional and timely.

I'm amazed at how fast this service was. I had a quote by the day after I first called and the skylights were installed a few days later. Eric was friendly and efficient. I would definitely work with this company again!

Eric was wonderful to work with. He responded quickly to our request for an estimate. The work was done (by Eric) within a few days despite the fact that the weather wasn't very cooperative. He clean up very well after the job was done. We wish that we had replaced the leaky skylights years ago as we lost a lot of energy because of it.

Eric was great to deal with! We set up a time for him to come out and check the skylights we had as well as the leak inside the house. He was positive that we only had to replace the skylights and not the boots. The price was lower than I had expected. We decided to go ahead and have him do the work. He was back out the next week to install the skylights himself. He was running a little late, but he called before our scheduled time. He was very professional and cleaned up any mess he made. I would definitely recommend Advanced Skylights to anyone who needs some skylight work as well as use them again if we ever need them!!!

I was very pleased with the outcome and my skylight has not leaked since it was replaced in May of 2014. Eric was prompt, personable, and knowledgeable about skylight repair and replacement. He initially assessed that flashing the skylight would work and when that did not, he promptly replaced my skylight. I had received an earlier quote of five times the amount Eric charged me due to my steep roof so was very happy with the cost.

Everything went well. Eric was punctual with giving an estimate and did the work a couple of days later. My small skylights have leaked for years and it was finally time to replace them. After a couple of rainstorms, I've verified that the new ones are leak-free (and look much better). He even re-tarred part of the roof gratis. Good price for good work.

Provider came and gave an estimate after looking at and measuring the skylights. He reaffirmed that several were cracked. He told me that he manufactures the skylights and installs them himself. I was impressed with the feelings of honesty and integrity that I got from him and I thought the price was very reasonable--so I went with him. He came about 45 min. later than scheduled but he called me to say he was running a little late, so that was fine. It did not take him long at all to replace all 5 (maybe 1 1/2 hours). There was no mess except under one (the original had some sealant to fill in gaps that flaked off). His skylights have a nice foam sealant. He cleaned up the debris himself. The skylights are very nice and let in more light than the originals that had yellowed some with age. I feel it was money well spent. He also stated that these are now sealed better and should save some on the heating bill.

He had installed 8 new skylights at my home in July, and to be in compliance with the warranty, he needed to perform the skylight removal/replacement himself. Throughout both jobs, he was amazing to work with. He was very responsive, the quality of the Advanced Skylight Systems' product is superior to what I previously had. Eric took great care to clean up debris as work progressed. His attention to detail & workmanship was excellent.

Eric Chavez and Advanced Skylight Systems have my highest recommendation. We have an old, large skylight in our home, and it was leaking. We have passive solar, so having this skylight in good working order is an important part of our heating in the winter, so I was eager to get this fixed, but given the size of the skylight, I expected it to not be that cheap. I called around and got several estimates, and many were much more than the one from Advanced Skylight, and some people wanted to put an entirely different type of skylight in (like several "bubble" skylights instead of one large flat one like the one we had). Advanced Skylight made the skylight to order and then installed it. The skylight is perfect--it lets in more heat (which is what we wanted--but they can make anything, including those that filter out more sunlight), and looks great, and is actually better than the one we had both in construction and installation. Also, I had some special requests that other contractors may not have been able to handle, but Eric was able to work with us to get this in. I can't be happier, both in terms of quality of the skylight itself, and how it looks (his roofers did a great job getting this in place too). It did take a little while to get it done from original consult to installation but that was because we both had a few scheduling issues. I certainly did not mind waiting for this, though, because it is really professionally done and looks great and will last. If you need a skylight, either a new one, or to replace an existing one, you want to call Advanced Skylights. They are the best!

If you are looking for "honest" company and perfect work, this is the company. Very professional and you know you are in good hands. If there were a higher rating I would give it to this company. Just the best. Highly recommend.

Eric Chavez, with Advanced Skylight Services, responded to our telephone call regarding inspecting the skylights on our house to see if they needed repairing or replacing. We had experienced a lot of leaking around the skylights when it rained. He came out within a couple of days and inspected the skylights and recommended that they be replaced. We had scheduled a roofing company to install a new roof, and as soon as that was done, Eric came out and took out the old skylights and replaced them with the new ones. We were quite happy with the work done by Advanced Skylight Services.

This service went very well. They were very prompt and they were here exactly when they said they would be here. They were professional and thorough.

Eric arrived on time and started right to work. He explained what he was going to do and about 90 minutes later, he finished. He removed the existing domes (one by one), cleaned up the sand and dust from the frames and curbs, sealed the interior as needed, and installed the new domes. We have had NO dust blowing in (and we have had some hefty winds since then) and are happy with the entire process. The warranty is great and we hope we do not need to use it. Eric was very professional, experienced, and answered all our questions.
