Accent Southwest Windows & Doors

The process was fast and easy and took place in one day. Since we had our Accent Southwest Windows put in, we don't hear noise outside and they hold the temperature of the room.

They were very professional in their estimate and the work performed. We interviewed 5 Companies. It was clear that many of them would charge as much as i was willing to pay. One company gave me 5 different quotes ranging from 12,000 to 7,000 for the same work. I asked them to leave. Southwest was upfront in their pricing. The work was professionally done and the windows are great.

We got quotes from 4 different companies; surprisingly, the prices were all pretty close (w/in 10% of one another), but the quality of windows each company proposed varied significantly. Accent SW not only had the highest quality windows of all of the companies we talked to, they also had by far the best warranty, so the choice was simple. The salesman was very nice, though a little on the aggressive side (we could have done with about 1/4 of his sales pitch). The installers were terrific--very professional and very good. I would highly recommend anyone looking at getting new windows (or having extensive repairs performed) to talk to Accent SW.

The company worked with us on the timing of installation. The work crew arrived on time and were careful of our home, carpet, belongings. The company was very helpful working with our home security system and installing the sensors which had to be replaced on the majority of the windows. They cleaned up everything. One window was broken at the warehouse. The company worked very hard to ensure this window was installed promptly at our convenience.

I have been very pleased with the work they have done. We are really happy with the work they have provided for us. They clean up very nicely. They are very professional and very eager to help.

Estimator/salesman was prompt and friendly. All options were presented clearly. Installation was on schedule and quick. Only had two minor problems. The bay window had a tool mark in the wood after installation. The technicians were not good as refinishers. The blemish was small but still evident after the repair. The garden window developed air leaks but the company was quick to reseal. Repair was OK but I live where canyon winds can reach 50 mph with winter night-time temps dropping into the teens. Still have small air leaks under severe conditions.

I had an excellent experience all around. The gentleman who came to do the estimate was extremely professional and patient. He was not a high-pressure salesman as had been my experience with a different company. The price he offered was quite reasonable. He was very helpful in scheduling the install around some other work I was having done. When the installer came to actually put in the windows, he was equally professional. The installer was punctual and did an excellent job with no mess. In addition, the guarantee offered by the company exceeds those offered by the other companies to whom I spoke.

I was very happy with them. The salesmen were on time. It was effective. They weren?t pushy. The installation was on time. The product that I got was what I ordered. Everything was correct. The installers were efficient, on time and professional.

I received estimates from several companies to replace the windows in our home from the awful aluminum contractor grade windows. There are a lot of features to wade through such as frame material, glass reflective coating and style of operation. I had completed research so I could understand the sales presentations and ask questions to make the most informed decision on brand and installation. First let me say this is an expensive project with a lot of promises of lower energy cost and increased equity value for your home. I was a bit skeptical of the claims but more on this latter. I finally chose Accent for several reasons including cost, product construction, lifetime warranty, reputation - customer service and installation schedule. 1 - The cost was in the middle range and lower than Pella or Anderson. 2 - We chose vinyl windows and I preferred the construction of the windows Accent sells. 3 - Accent has lived up to their reputation of A+ customer service and made the whole process as painless as this project could possibly be. 4 - Lifetime warranty is very generous and simple plain language. 5 - Accent estimated the installation date several weeks sooner than Pella or Anderson could. Accent arrived on the date and time promised. Two installers installed ten windows in one day including removing the old windows! There was only a little bit of trim work to finish the second day when they installed the patio door. I have had zero issues with the installation or the quality of the windows. Now to the perceived improvement over the old contractor double pane windows and cost savings. I noticed right away how quiet the house was after the installation. The street noise is barely noticeable with the windows closed. Since the installation was completed in November we could gauge how much more efficient the windows were. Boy, were they. It appears the furnace cycles on less often but better still does not run as long as with the old windows. This makes the house quieter. I suspect we are saving energy cost but I did not calculate a percentage. But I would guess it is 30% to 40%. Best of all if you are near the windows on a cold windy day you do not feel a draft or feel cold creeping into the room. As far as increased equity, I am still on the fence. Certainly the house looks better and the windows operate smoother and as a result I think it would be easier to sell a home that has had a window upgrade. If I were to buy another home a window upgrade would sway me to buy over a home that was not upgraded. But in our case we upgraded to make our home more comfortable. My experience with Accent met and exceeded my expectations. I would certainly contract with them again on a future job.

It isn?t that hard to install them, but if they don?t put them in then they don?t guarantee them for as long. Because they installed them they are guaranteed for forever, even for the next person to own my house. What they did was fine; they put them in, leveled them out, and sealed them really well. They were fast and good, although they were really expensive. They did everything in one day and they were good at it. The salesman explained everything and the windows are high-quality. The windows are heavy duty, they move smoothly, and you can feel the quality of them when you open and close them.

Setting up the first meeting was easy and they came as planned. The installation took 3 days and they were always on time. While in our house they took great care not to scratch floors or furniture as they brought the windows to the rooms. They did an excellent job of cleaning after the work.

Each time, the workers were on time, work went smoothly and when they were done, they cleaned up after themselves! Very smooth process.

Excellent employees, every step was done to spec and done well. Work was done 5/2003 and we are still very happy with the entire job. The windows are excellent and we recommend this company without reservation.

We wanted to replace all our old single pane windows before this winter so I started researching companies this summer. After Travis came within 2 days after I called to give us an estimate, we decided on this company to do the job. Travis was courteous and very professional. The estimate for the job was a little more than other companies, but I was most impressed with this company's warranty and decided to go ahead with Accent Windows. I was told the windows would be ready to install in 6 weeks, and I was given a date for installation. The windows arrived on time, and the installation began on time, both of which surprised me. We live in a rural area and most things do not happen on time. The installers were also courteous and very professional and finished right on time. They did a fantastic job and we are very happy with our new windows and look forward to being warm this winter!

It went tremendous. They came in and put the windows in. They are dynamite. They are just what they said they would be and we have not had a trouble with them at all.

We were very satisfied with the quality of our windows and the fact that this company put them in so perfectly. They are very professional, courteous and clean up very well. This time around we had them only do those windows we thought were the most in need of replacement but we do intend on having them replace the others shortly.

They are awesome! I would definitely recommend them to anyone. They have been doing several jobs for us as well as this one. They are always on time and have great ideas. I am very pleased with the service.
