I am so impressed with the Professionalism of the workers . . . the sales staff and the all around quality of the product I ordered. WOW . . . security and beauty. The doors I had before were scary and I didn't feel very secure. This house is now feeling like the quality that I want it to become. When I hear that lock it is like a new car sound and just makes me smile all over. Could not have asked for better from any company in town. I had other companies out for quotes but I know I chose the best. I would recommend them to everyone I know and those I don't. The two men were on time and started right to work removing the old windows. They took down my blinds and replaced them when they were finished.Their work was perfect and they finished in one day.

They were not the low bidder. In fact they were the high bidder of 3 estimates. I chose them because of their product and warranty. They arrive on time, performed their work and left the area clean. The installation looks great and the windows so far perform as advertised.

2 men came to work on door. They worked diligently and were very professional. No problem.

Brandon and buddy showed up on time, just before 8:30, and were done before 11. They worked quietly and cleaned up as they went, so there was no debris around at any time. They didn't damage the window surround (no cracked tiles either. The finished job looks as though it was always there; the opening in the exterior stucco is neatly finished with a vinyl framing. The window hardware is first-rate.

The entire process was smooth. Dan, the salesman was very knowledgeable and thorough. He walked us through the entire process with ease and explained all of the options that were available, We were contacted to schedule the install date. Michael and Gabriel showed up when they said they would. Mike and Gabe did and excellent job with our installation. They were careful and thorough installing the windows and doors. They were professional and courteous and exemplify how a contractor should treat customers. We needed two of the windows modified to meet our local code. My home is brick. Harvey did an outstanding job with the brick work. Matches perfectly with our other windows. Overall, Accent did a wonderful job. The windows and doors look and operate great. I'm really happy with the work that was done and the folks that did the job. I would have no hesitation recommending Accent Southwest Windows. Thank you Accent for making this experience so pleasant for us.

The sales consultant thoroughly explained the range of products they provide and the options to be considered. Once the decision was made to go ahead, an inspection and measurement of the windows was scheduled. At this time a lead test was completed by a technician who sampled at least one window from every room. The installation group called a day or so later and confirmed the installation schedule. I would consider the four week delay to be excessive, but apparently they had had a significant uptick in installations in preparation for the winter season. Since no lead paint was found in the initial inspection, masking and tenting of the area around each window was not required. A certificate of the lead test results was provided. A very professional two man team arrived on time to the job site and began each window removal by laying down tarps inside and out. The steel casement window sashes were loosened by removing and cutting fasteners to the window bucks and were then pried from the openings. The openings were cleaned and new vinyl framed sliding windows were installed, foamed, trimmed and caulked. One member of the team explained the procedure as they went. Time to complete was only 60% of original time budgeted. The appearance of the completed windows was very good. The function of the sliding windows after the installation was found to be smooth and uniform with solid locking in the closed position. The area around each window was kept reasonably clean from debris although a light vacuuming inside was required after the team departed. In keeping the original steel bucks, no interior or exterior wall surfaces were disturbed. A few days later the sales consultant followed up to see if I was pleased with the process and results. The windows have certainly reduced air leakage and street noise.

it is now six weeks and we still have blue tape over the window Accent broke while doing warranty work on it and not a word about when we might expect the replacement. I wrote to the owners three weeks ago and they haven't even given the courtesy of a reply.

Workmen arrived about 45 minutes late, but they did call. They were prompt and professional in the installation. Minor adjustments were completed through the following week. Overall, we were very happy.

Theirs was the best and the installation was done so professionally with great craftsmanship fitting them into our 1957 brick home. They cleaned up so well each day and were so polite. Great company, great warranty.

We immediately noticed an increase in comfort and a decrease in energy costs after our windows were installed. Our old windows didn't seal well, so all told we save about 33% on our heating costs, and we finally felt we were able to install refrigerated air conditioning because the house was sealed. Almost two years later now we couldn't be happier. The windows continue to work and look as if they were brand new.

they were very professional each time they came to my home. Respectful and cleaned up after themselves (not always a common thing these days!) One surprise: salesman quoted an estimated time to complete the project of 2-3 days however it actually took much longer. That I wasn't prepared for. Also I'm not experienced in any major home repairs so that needs to be factored in. After a few weeks the job was complete, including stucco repairs. Although I'm disappointed with the wood materials used on the bay window inside framing (not finishing material at all-very rough and was not sanded prior to painting--not the molding), I am overall pleased with the end results. I would recommend Accent Southwest Windows and I plan on calling them again when I'm ready to replace more windows.

I was very impressed with the service I received from Accent SW. Samantha (Sam) came out to give us an estimate twice (I had to delay work due to surgery) and was friendly, courteous and informative. She also came out during the work to see how things were going. The crew of two who installed the windows did a great job and installed 18 windows in 3 days. We had a storm come in the last day of work. It was obvious how much better the windows were- we could not feel the wind or cold as we had prior to installation. They also did a good job cleaning up after their work each day. The windows themselves are vinyl with a wooden interior. They are lovely and I highly recommend them should you want a wood finish inside. The manufacturers didn't include enough of the matching bullnose for the job to be completed inside the first time, so a young man come out to complete the interior work once it arrived. That gave me my only, very small, complaint. He didn't use caulking under the bullnose the way the original team had. However, I haven't notice any air leak due to this during our mighty winds this spring, so it doesn't seem to be an issue. I highly recommend these folks.

I first visited the showroom in late December to gather basic information. Samatha came to the house on January 6th to demonstrate the technical aspects of the windows, measure all of the windows, and provided an estimate. I was looking into other companies and getting another estimate during this month. On January 22, Samatha called back and said she had not offered the "full discount" for the January-February sale, and quoted a price substantially below the previous quote and with upgraded quality glass at the lower price. I agreed and signed an agreement a few days later. On January 29, a crew of two came to measure all the windows more carefully. They used these to order the windows. For the Elite Series windows, their glass comes from Cardinal Glass in Minnesota and their sashes come from P.H. Tech in Quebec, both excellent companies. The windows are assembled at a factory in Denver, so are not subject to significant air pressure changes which could break the seals between panes. On January 30, they schedule installation for February 25-28. Windows normally take 4-6 weeks to arrive after they are ordered. On February 17, they called and had to reschedule because the windows would not be ready on time. They rescheduled for March 4-6. Installation began as promised on March 4 with two crews of two people each. I had prepared beforehand by removing all of the blinds and shades, moving furniture away from the windows so they would have 3 feet of space to work in, and covering nearby furniture with lightweight plastic drop cloths. The installers were very courteous and professional, and explained what they were doing when asked. They brought in drop cloths to catch debris and swept and vacuumed around each work area - but see note below! They also set up ladders and planks so they could work over and around bushes on the outside of the house - they did not require or request that any bushed be trimmed back. Installation was completed about noon on the third day. There was one window that had been incorrectly assembled, with the e-coating on the outside of the pane instead of the inside. They ordered a new pane on March 6. They brought the new pane on April 7, but it was also incorrect (clear instead of obscured) so they ordered another one. The correct pane was brought out and installed on May 8. There are a few notes and lessons I would pass on: 1. Window companies offer good discounts in the middle of winter - January and February for Accent - because people think it is too cold to install new windows then. However, it is not a problem. I simply turned off the heat during the day, and the house did not get terribly cold. It was definitely worth the money I saved. 2. Be ready to bargain, particularly if you have a big job. Accent's final quote was over 20% lower than the initial quote, and one of their competitors was willing to lower their price by a similar percentage when I told them what my target price was. 3. Windows are a competitive business, and you should expect aggressive sales pitches as well as follow-up phone calls. I found Accent to be more pleasant to deal with than some of their competitors. 4. Window installation is an inherently messy process. Many of the old windows had glass broken while being removed and small bits of glass get scattered. They have to hammer the stucco to get the edges as uniform as possible, which scatters small nodules and creates a fine dust that will get in the house. While the installers did a good job at cleaning up, I still spent the better part of two days afterward cleaning all of the rooms and furniture that I had not covered. Outside the house, I found bits of glass and stucco as far as 10 feet away from each window.

Everything about them, from the installation to the windows, the sales man, it is just an excellent company. I had a funky window problem that wasn't code wise and they upgraded it for me. They weren't the cheapest, and they weren't the most expensive, but the windows are just wonderful.

For the last 15 years, I have used Accent Windows and Doors in my last two homes in Colorado and in my present ABQ home. Their product is worth every penny I have spent. My current townhome has 5 sliding glass doors and three of them are beyond the standard size sliders. The installers, Brandon and Domenic arrived first thing in the morning, they were punctual and very professional. They started work right away and did not stop until every slider in my home was replaced. In the afternoon I had to go to work for 3-4 hours, leaving the workers in my home alone. Because I am a single woman, it was not a difficult decision to leave them in the house for so long, but I felt comfortable making that decision because of how professional they conducted business. When I returned, they were still working and nothing was out of place. I bought Brandon and Domenic lunch from Dion's, but that did not slow them down. Being very appreciative, they ate and without missing a step went back to work. They finished the job with great precision. After they cleaned up and departed the area, the other team of workers, in my home, expressed to me how impressed they were with the quality work they completed. Not only is the product superior, Brandon and Domenic were very professional, trustworthy, and highly skilled at their craft.

They were good. I like the windows and got what I expected. I did not have any complaints. It was just the amount of time that took done. The work itself and the product are fine. They were professional.

The coupon stated $250 toward the purchase of two windows. The windows were initially very impressive. Two years later I can feel the air as I pass by them. They need new caulking, which the company is not responsible for, but I have purchased windows in the past and they stayed insulated over seven years without the need for any kind of upkeep.

The overall experience was flawless, and the windows are beautiful. The quality of the windows has enhanced the overall function of the house my minimizing heating costs and increased overall efficiency.
