From start to finish, Chuck Burnett could not have been more helpful and accommodating -- working around my own travel schedule and the schedules of the couple leasing my residence. Chuck provided me with sage advice regarding the choices available to me, and finished the job more quickly than anticipated -- with no cost overrun. And as anyone with radiant heat knows, a hardwood floor requires both a moisture barrier and plywood floating floor beneath it -- and it has to be right. My tenant is a very exacting individual, and he said that Chuck was both an artist and a master craftsman -- and I could not agree more. My floors are more beautiful than I ever imagined, and I am so thankful I was led to Chuck Burnett. These are white oak floors with a natural satin finish, though the camera used to take the photos seems to have added a pinkish tint.
Description of Work: Chuck Burnett, Acadia Wood Floors, was recommended to me by my realtor when I asked her who had installed her stunning cherry-wood floors at her home in Sandia Heights. I called Chuck immediately to arrange a meeting, and the following day we met at his hardwood supplier to view various options for the flooring in my home in High Desert. Because my home has radiant heat, he suggested 3 1/4" planks, and he drew up an estimate for the white oak I had chosen. I felt that his proposal was extremely reasonable for the high-quality floor I would be getting, and I signed his proposal immediately. Since I work overseas for the U.S. Government, Chuck arranged to install my flooring at a convenient time for the couple leasing my residence, and I received regular reports from them on the meticulous work that he and his team were doing.
