ABC Seamless

I was referred to ABC Seamless by Alvarado Roofing after I had a new roof installed. It was a small job to install a collector box and gutter to reroute runoff from canale that is near our front porch. After calling it took a couple of days for Gabby Sandoval to stop by our house to give an estimate. She was on time and professional and had the estimate done in about 15 minutes. After reviewing the estimate Gabby told me that they were scheduling about four to six weeks out. I sent the signed proposal on January 29th and the work was completed on March 22nd. However, once the work was completed I felt it was worth the wait. The crew showed up at the expected time, were attentive to my concerns, and professional. The quality of the product and the workmanship was excellent. It may take awhile but, I think, it is worth the wait. I would recommend.

No real issues. Yes you pay more, but we thought it was worth it. But barely. Installation is not quick--we waited 5+ weeks for them to start due to their schedule. But very fast once they start. It would be helpful for sales to have sample product to select sizes, and to have larger paint samples.

Terrific. They showed up on time and ready to work. Marty showed them exactly where the gutters should go and where the rain barrels go. They got right to work and were finished in just a couple of hours. Very efficient and cleaned up after themselves. The gutters are doing a great job and our yard loves the directed water. They even removed an old satellite dish that was improperly installed and in the way.

ABC worked with me to find the best locations for the rain barrels and options for rerouting gutters and down spouts so the barrels wouldn't obstruct the views from my yard and patio, and I'd capture as much water as possible. Carol was great with keeping me informed on the schedule, cost and payment options.

We had other companies come to the house to provide bids. Neither of the others offered near the same suggestions/ideas as Dave and the actual workers did. They came out when promised and completed the work, exceeding our expectations. Quality work and materials, even down to painting the screw heads to match the gutters themselves. We couldn't be more pleased. Carol in the front office did an incredible job of staying in constant communication. We would highly recommend this company for this type of work.

I'll preface this by saying it seems many have had positive experience with ABC. However, mine was so bad that I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone. About a year ago, we began getting bids on gutters for our house.The first few bids we had were for 4 inch gutters. Both said there would be too much water for one gutter in the back and thought it would be an eye sore to have one in the front (which we also didn't want) so he suggested we reach out to a company who did 6 inch gutters. We had abc seamless come out and provide bids. Because it was heading into winter, we decided to wait until spring to have it done...which turned into fall. We reached out to Dave in September/October, who provided the original bid. He had us come down to his shop where finalized the plan. He did suggest adding one additional gutter to the south side of the house since water would be coming from the front and back sides (this was an additional cost and in addition to the three originally decided). He also suggested Avalanche bars to protect the warranty which we also agreed to. Because he did not come out to rebid and check the slopes, he said he would have the guys check the slopes of the house when they came out to measure to ensure everything was ok before moving forward. We made a deposit and signed the agreement based on this plan. On November 6th (after waiting without any scheduled time or updates), they began working on the gutters and finished on November 7th. We were out of town the day they finished, but when we arrived home on the evening of the 7th, we saw one downspout had been placed in the very front of the house by the door (and drilled into the stucco). We both left messages that night. David called us Monday stating he had been out of town but Felipe had called him explaining the slope of the house would only work with one on the front so he, david, made the "executive' decision to have them install it by the front. This was done without our approval or even a call explaining the situation. Furthermore, they did not check the slope when measuring, as originally promised. Had we known, we would have not even begun installation, if we knew one would have gone with 4 inch gutters and save $1-$2 thousand dollars. After a month of trying to resolve the issue and Dave saying he will call us back later in the week with a plan and didn't, we then received a bill for the balance(!). I called and asked for the owner who called me back the next day. I explained the full situation. He said they deal was this all of the time and he was sure there was a way to work around it. He said he would call back after thanksgiving and he would come out himself with the guys. Last week, we received a very defensive voicemail from Dave (not the owner) saying he had called (yes, but only after a week of not hearing back from him and us reaching out), that life is what it is sometimes and it's obvious my boyfriend and I don't communicate (!?) His only plan after a month was to remove the downspout and allow the water to fall out of a hole which will damage our stucco. We never heard from the owner who said he would come out himself. At the end of the day, just to be finished with it, they discounted our bill $600 which was nice but still significantly more than we would have paid for otherwise and we are left with the unsightly large downspout by our front door. Horrible, stressful experience from beginning to end. The lesson learned being if you have a 'sleazy' feeling about someone/a company, it's better to go with your gut than the reviews

However, I called and relayed my problems to the receptionist, Carol. I indicated that because I am a single mother of three I did not have the finances to replace one of my troublesome downspouts. Carol was so friendly and took the time to instruct me on how to repair downspout myself, which by the way was successful! In the future, if I need to replace my gutters you can bet they will get my business.

Carol in their office, and Victor the installer, were both very responsive and professional. We suffered from rain flooding from a blocked canale drain, and damaged stucco behind the canale collector box (a DYI disaster by the previous home owner). Victor removed the damaged unit. ABC waited patiently while we had stucco repaired and re-stuccoed between rain storms. Victor did a great job of creating & installing a new collector box and downspout.

They consulted with me on both jobs, helped me pick the best colors and provided timely and excellent service. They accommodated our schedules and the work was done with minimum disruption.

Great. Evaluation was done shortly after I telephoned, did not take long to schedule the work, work performed quickly, accurately, completely, and the new sections of gutter matched exactly to the older portions. Cost was very reasonable. I really cannot recall the exact amount, but cannot submit my review without adding something. Also do not recall exact dates, but know it was during the summer of 2012.

Dave came out the day after I called to get a quote. The quote was emailed to me a couple days later. I immediately approved the quote and wanted to schedule a day for installation. It took a couple calls and an email, about a week, to get a call back to schedule the installation. The installers showed up on time on the scheduled day and the work took about four hours. There was a miscommunication between the quote and the installers. The quote asked for rain shields and they were not installed. I called back to inquire about them and was told they should have been installed. It was scheduled and completed two days later. Over all the product and installation is very high quality.

I wasn't here when they came out. The workers were good, they cleaned up and they did everything that they said they would do, and we haven't had problems since. They cleaned up like nobody had been there. We have had a continual problem with our roof leaking, and they were the first ones to figure out that we had a problem with our downspouts. They solved a longstanding problem. We replaced the roof, and it turns out that wasn't the problem.

They did a great job on our project. Sal worked with me to come up with the best design for a tricky area.

My experience with them went very good. They did a good job of putting the gutters up. They hung them properly. They did a very professional job. I've used them for different things about four times in the past. They're a little more expensive, but you get what you pay for.

My only frustration was that it took quite a while to get scheduled - I had other projects waiting, but it turned out that patience was a good thing - many of the smaller things I thought I was going to hire someone else to do were included in abc's job!
