Description of Work: Norman from ABC Appliances & Repair came out the same day I called to fix a side by side refrigerator that was running warm. Norman inspected the refrigerator and found the problem was a bad starter which prevented the refrigerator to run properly. Norman had the new starter and replaced the old one. Norman showed me the old starter that he re placed and the old onestarter had a burnt terminal. Norman did an excellent job and was very professional. My only complaint was the price of the new starter may be a little expensive considering the new starter was the size of a golf ball and only took a few minutes to replace and install.

Description of Work: Arrived promptly. Diagnosed the problem with the washer. Received the part promptly in one week and had it installed wonderfully. The washer still didn't work which looked apparent when the repairman was still here, but called a few days later to report we needed further work and never received a call back from the main office, where we called.

Description of Work: Refrigerator (side by side) in rental house needed a new mother board and freon. Intitially it was fixed but then stopped cooling/freezing again. The technician came out again and added freon and cleared a line. So it worked again for two months but is now needing additional repair. This is a discontinued GE model probably over 12 years old. I believe there will be a charge to fix whatever the problem is now but as of yet I have not received a bill. The technician has been going back and forth and will continue to for the next several weeks to make sure the refrigerator is functioning properly as a result of these additional repairs. The technician has been very responsive--the cost of repair a little steep but maybe a mistake in my own judgement to fix it due to the age of the appliance. Hopefully, with this latest fix, I won't have to worry about replacing it for a while. (They offer a 90 day warranty however, this issue is or may not be related to what they initially repaired. So I may be receiving an additonal bill.)

Description of Work: Diagnostic on dishwasher which wasn't draining. The electrical panel had burned out. They said they they could fix it, but that it would cost close to the price of a new machine. I was advised to get a new dishwasher rather than repair the old one which was far beyond its expected life.
