Ray arrived on time and was very polite. My refrigerator was barely working (running at about 60 degrees) and he diagnosed the problem very quickly and fixed it. The refrigerator has been running at optimal levels ever since.

Two of the burners on stovetop were not working properly. I thought parts would need to be replaced but service technician was able to simply repair and did a great job. I really appreciate his conscientiousness and that he did not just try to sell me replacement parts at higher cost. I will definitely use this company again for any appliance work.

The washer would not drain or spin. I made an appointment with ABC Appliance Repair based recommendations on Angie's List on a Monday and they came out the next day. Ray was very professional and friendly and quickly diagnosed the problem and got a quote for a replacement part. He installed it and the washer now works like it used to. Total time for diagnostic and repair was less than 15 minutes (your mileage may vary). They even waived the service call fee when they performed the part replacement. Needless to say, I will be calling on them the next time I need service on one of my appliances. This is the way to do business.

A year later, I noticed that the carpeting in the room behind the refrigerator wall was wet. Upon further investigation, I noticed that the carpeting was completely saturated with water! I was dumbfounded as to where the water was coming from and then realized the refrigerator was sitting behind the wall. I immediately pulled out the fridge and saw a mist of water coming out of the tubing that Norman had repaired the previous year. I called ABC and asked for Ray to be sent, but Norman was sent again, on September 9. 2014. When I asked Norman why he did not replace the entire line instead of putting on a coupler, he said because of the location inside the refrigerator. Instead of doing the job correctly, it was done as a quick fix, resulting in water damage to my carpet and baseboards. This was a slow leak that probably had been occurring for a significant amount time. After expressing my opinion on the substandard work, Norman became argumentative. I told him to put the refrigerator back together and leave my house. I called the office again and requested another technician, leaving a voicemail. I again called and left a message today, 9/10/2014 but no one has returned my calls. I will used another company to fix the work that ABC Appliance Repair failed to do.

I called ABC Appliance Repair due to my double drawer bottom dishwasher not draining water. I was scheduled within a day of my call and Ray inspected and troubleshot the dishwasher before determining that the motherboard of the unit was defective and needed to be replaced. Ray told me that the motherboard is a very expensive part and probably not worth the install since I could get a new dishwasher instead. We left off that he would get an estimate for the part and he called me promptly the following day with the estimated cost. Ray was correct about the cost and we decided not to get the drawer of the dishwasher fixed until the top drawer gave out as well. I really appreciated Ray's honesty and expertise and will definitely use ABC Appliance Repair again. I only paid for the service call, but each customer gets a credit for this amount against the overall repair bill if ABC Appliance fixes the unit. Thank you Ray :)

A 10 yo Duet which had been filling with water spontaneously for a few weeks and causing flooding if the door was opened. Called ABC dispatcher (again great) after a good experience a month before with a fridge. Had Ray over in about 3-4 hours. He evaluated the problem (he said this happened to his washer) which was a stuck valve, from chronic micro sentiment, not allowing it to close and letting water fill the washer. This was the cheaper of two possible valves and it cost almost 238 total ( new washer 680-900). Ray was again smart, fast and very professional. Washer seems better so far. ABC may be a little pricey but their fast response and honesty are worth the price differential (if there is actually a difference. I researched an earlier job and ABC was somewhat in the middle of estimates.) Great company and philosophy and they are highly recommended. I will use again when I have to.

Old fridge that was "overflowing" water. Called on a Saturday and dispatcher was great and offered a technician that afternoon, but we were unavailable. Called back Monday and had someone there quickly. Ray was the technician and was great. He evaluated the fridge and felt that it needed defrosting because the drainage system/tubes were frozen. He offered to do it for I believe $140 but offered to let us which we did after he taught us what we needed to do. We did this (took 24-48 hours) and the fridge has behaved better. ABC and Ray were great. He was pleasant, smart and honest. Pleasurable experience except for the home visit fee of (? $59). If he did the work, the visit cost would be applied and not added on. Great service with quick and honest response.

He just showed up on time and got the job done without any hassle. He also put back together our dishwasher, which I had partially taken apart trying to fix a recurrent issue it has and he didn?t change anything extra.

It seem to go real well. One person came out and it took about an hour. I would tell a friend or family member to use them. The cost was their minimum charge, $50 or $60 dollars.

I am beyond happy. The technician, Ray, adjusted the dispenser and it works like a champ. Thanks to Ray (Kudos, too). Definitely my new appliance repair people!

After purchasing the deal, they contacted me right away and scheduled for the next week. One technician came for the work and took about forty-five minutes to an hour. He explained things that he could repair on both the dishwasher and fridge, but they were not cost effective to have repair completed. They were very nice. Everything turned out fine.

I was really surprised to get a call back on the weekend! I had left a message expecting to hear back on Monday, but received a call back in only a couple hours to set up my appointment. The tech came out on time and quickly got to work. He was very professional and talked about everything that he was doing. He had a hunch based on the symptoms I gave him, but checked out the fridge completely and explained the issue. Turned out to be a bad fan, and he did his best to get a new one in that day. Unfortunately, the fan had to be ordered and the warehouse was already closed, but he explained a temporary fix for me that would keep my food from spoiling. He had me place a temporary fan at an angle to help keep the compressor cool. He then came back on another day to replace the fan and re-calibrate the system. Now the fridge works better than it did new! The fan seemed a little pricey, but I don't think that's on ABC, I feel that the part is just overpriced by the manufacturer. A+ service from ABC!!! I Highly recommend this team!!

Our four year old Samsung french door refrigerator stopped making ice. Since the refrig was no longer under warranty I decided to search Angies List for appliance repair service providers. Called ABC Appliance Repair, set up an appointment for two days later. The service tech was a little bit late. The tech was very courteous and professional. He determined that the ice maker would need to be replaced, and recommended that the water valve should also be replaced as a preventative measure. The tech quoted a standard fee for replacing both which included parts and labor. The quote seemed a little high ($306 including 10% Angies discount), but still went with it. An appointment was scheduled for two days later to replace the ice maker and valve. The tech arrived about 1 1/2 hour late. Then discovered that he had the wrong parts for our refrig model, and would have to research and then reorder the correct parts. Unfortunately the tech had not originally noticed the part number tag on the old ice maker. An appointment was scheduled for four days later. The tech arrived on time, and the parts were successfully replaced. Overall, the experience was good, even though it took longer than expected to finally replace the parts, and the tech being late on two occasions. After researching Samsungpartsonline.com the parts would have costed me $158, therefore the labor came out to $148. I'm guessing that considering all aspects this is probably reasonable, even though it seems a little bit high to me. In the future, I'll probably call ABC Appliance Repair again.

Ray Trujillo came out exactly during the 2 hour block promised The problem with the washing machine was more complex than he initially hoped, and he had to order a kit that would arrive the next day, so he scheduled a return visit for the following day. Since he had some extra time, he looked at my GE gas stove (the burners would not ignite, and we needed to use a match to light the stove). I had previously been told we would have to replace the entire burner units, at a total cost of over $500, but Ray thought he could repair it with a part he had in the truck for $189. I asked him to go ahead with the repair, but as he worked on the stove he discovered some faulty wiring, which actually made the stove dangerous to use. I was planning to go buy a new stove this coming weekend. Ray came back with the kit and repaired the washing machine today, and also brought new wiring for the stove, which he was then able to completely repair for the price he had quoted. Ray was very professional, explained everything thoroughly, cleaned up completely after himself, and was a joy to work with. I will definitely be calling him again when I need another appliance repair.

Norman from ABC Appliance Repair came out as scheduled and did a full inspection of the above appliances. He was friendly and thorough. My main concern was the freezer gasket on our refrigerator, as it had been in disrepair for a long time. He researched, found, and ordered a replacement gasket and within a week returned to install it. I had called for service using a $149 Tune-up coupon from Angie's list, but the gasket cost an extra $300. It was well worth it to save our refrigerator! We would definitely use them again.

Great! Arrived an hor early and had part in truck. Installed and cleaned up afterwards. Said there likely was a power surge that caused the circuit board to fail. We highly recommend this company. The technician was very knowledgeable and professional. As new residents in Rio Rancho, we were delighted with the high caliber of service.

Technician arrived a little late due to traffic accident delays. Once he arrived things went smoothly. It is hard for me to move my refrigerator so having someone else move it to completely clean the coils was great as they really needed it done. My dishwasher hadn't been used regularly so I wanted to see if everything was functional before I sell my house. Same with the garbage disposal.Everything checked out fine. Technician was very communicative--he explained things as he went along with the tune ups. This was an Angie"s List Big Deal and I think it was worth every penny to have these inspections done! Would highly recommend this company.

The appointment was set for tonight, after I got off work, which was very helpful to me. Norman was our technician. He was very courteous, prompt, and knowledgeable. He found our problem right away, explained it and gave us our options. He was able to complete all of the work needed right away and the dishwasher is working again. I would recommend this company for all of your major appliance repairs and I know that we will be using them in the future.

I discovered that my refrigerator had stopped cooling on a Sunday afternoon. The way I knew this was that everything in the freezer was thawed. I quickly got onto Angie's list and started looking for someone who did emergency service. When I couldn't find anyone that would answer the phone, I turned to Google. Again, the only ones that said they did emergency service didn't answer the phone. So, hoping I could leave a message and get someone out first thing Monday, I called ABC. I had used them in the past, and liked the ratings I saw on Angie's List. To my surprise, someone answered the phone. I explained what I needed and they took down my information and said they had someone who could come by in an hour. And there was no extra charge for the weekend visit. I was thrilled! Within the hour, Norman arrived and took care of the problem. The 10% discount I got from Angie's list was a bonus. I will definitely use ABC again.
