Description of Work: Replaced two garage door springs. The spring broke at 10 AM and Mike the owner rearranged his schedule to get my door working again late afternoon the same day. He added grease to the track of the opener, making it run much quieter. I will go to him with any future work on my garage door.

Description of Work: Mike swapped out my old garage door drivetrain for a new one that could work w my homelink car buttons. The old Wayne dalton could not be config with my '12 Honda Pilot. Mike arrived on time (actually 10 min early!!) and was done quickly. He knows what he is doing. He even help me program the homelink in the car. I'm very pleased with the outcome. A breath of fresh air compared to many people I have had to come and work at my property. He replaced a garage door opener, serviced the adjoining one and replaced rubber seal to doors of garage. He did not have the part. Mike was very personable and got right to work. He even tightened our bellt and did some other things. Our garage door works like new. I would highly recommend Mike. Description of Work: Mike was extremely responsive, professional, and punctual and was willing to come out on the same day, Saturday, that my garage door spring broke. He quoted me a price of $200 to replace both springs and to replace a broken gear and sprocket on the motor, already a discounted price. He was willing to accept the 10% discount coupon from Angie's List on top of that which brought the price down to $180. While doing the repairs Mike noticed that the cable was fraying, so he also replaced both cables at no additional cost! I was extremely impressed! Also, my garage door has never opened and closed so quietly before this. I would highly recommend his services.

Description of Work: My garage door had been not closing fully, sometimes, and when I returned from a trip and closed it some kind of metal roller was popped out of the door. I was afraid to use it, so I called A-1. It was just before a holiday weekend, so he scheduled an appt. for the following Monday. He gave me a ballpark quote over the phone, which was what it ended up costing. The track of my garage door was also bent somewhat - he fixed that and lubricated the parts of the door and fixed the part that had popped out. It works like a charm now. He also fixed the button you push to activate the door, which had come partially out of the wall - I couldn't fix that myself. I didn't ask him, he just saw it needed to be done, and did it. He was ontime (actually a little early) polite, professional, respectful. I feel confident that this repairman knows what he is doing, and is honest. I would definitely do business with him again if anything else goes wrong with my garage door.

Description of Work: I called Mike about a problem that we've been having with our garage door. Mike knew exactly what needed to be done to fix the problem and told us to go ahead and try it. If not successful, he can come out to take a look. We did what he suggested and it's been working beautifully! Mike was very professional on the phone and knows what he's doing!! We will definitely call him again when we run into problems with our garage doors again!
