Quality Plumbing & Drain Cleaning

The plumber and his assistant met me at my house and explained the issue to me. they seemed knowledgeable and explained generally what would happen if they got the job. they were awarded the job and failed to tell the property manager or owner they were coming. they told them they would be at the house next week (6/15 ish). we got the call the afternoon before that they would be coming the next day (6/11). we figured they would tell the property manager their plans and thought nothing of it. they said they do not need anyone at the house as it was all outside. they completed the job (from what we can tell there are no issues so far) right before a rainstorm came in. they did not tell us, the owner, or the property manager they were done. they also failed to tell anyone about the large "crevice" under the ground where the pipes were. i went to go check some pieces they left by a bush that seemed out of place and nearly fell through the ground. i quickly found solid footing but sank almost 6 inches in the soft dirt. where they did not work was fine despite pooling water. it was all solid footing, but where they worked it was almost like quicksand. i called and asked what was going on and a female answered the phone and became rude with me. she told me that "it is common knowledge that if there is a broken pipe there will be a crevice and you should never walk there". she later told me "the property manager has already been told and will be delivering dirt to fill in the voids." when i explained that i am not a plumber but i do expect if they dig a hole they would fill the hole in and pack it down...or at least tell someone not to approach it as it is an incomplete job. when i asked how i was supposed to know she again said it was common sense. i then asked why we didnt get a call about job completion or any instructions and she said she already called the property manager and they (property manager) never had issues with their work. i should call them. i tried to end the call with a "thank you ma'am it seems you dont want to talk anymore so ill call them" and she told me how she answers the phone all day and it was raining and she cant be responsible for calling anyone. i again tried to end the call politely and she hung up on me mid sentence. i am reasonably sure the plumbing job is done but now i dont know about the possible hole i have under the top layer of soil and with it storming all day i dont know how well that will hold up. i called the property manager who stated they were not told about bringing dirt and didnt even know the plumber was coming out. needless to say i will not be doing business with them. i am now awaiting them to finish the job and make it safe to walk around.

both jobs were completed in a timely fashion and at a reasonable price for both. They are now my go to plumbing company.

Does fabulous work. I have recommended them to many people in town. They are very nice and they do clean work and clean up after they are done.

My husband called him yesterday and after he was told what we needed, he told my husband he would be here between 2:00 and 5:00. He was here at 3:00 and immediately began working. Hi son showed up about 15 minutes later to help and they had all the work (reinstalling the sink and all that goes with that) done in under an hour. They were personable and professional and I will call them when we are ready for our next plumbing project.

I was referred to Quality Plumbing and Drain Cleaning via a local supply house from which I purchased a hot water heater. I called on a Friday and asked if they could help me with the installation. I spoke with Richard and he said he would gladly help me, but it would have to be early afternoon Monday as for they were booked up and busy all weekend. Even though there was the inconvenience of waiting 3 days for hot water, I decide to wait since they were recommended by the local business. Richard explained the rates and what to expect time wise for the install. I explained that that would be fine and asked if he would/could call before coming out. He said that would be no problem. Monday afternoon around 12:30 I received a call from Quality Plumbing and was told that they were on their way. I thanked them and asked if they needed any further directions which they exclaimed they did not. They arrived approximately 10 minutes later. I met them as they pulled into the drive and pointed to the direction of where the install would take place. After a few minutes of salutations and general information such as where the new tank was located and such, the two gentleman got to started with the install. In just under one hour (just as Richard had predicted) the gentleman had installed the new tank, loaded the old tank for removal and asked me at what temp I would like my water set. They presented me with an invoice for which they took a check and were quickly on their way to what I can only assume was their next job. There was a slight higher minimum service rate (1.5 hours minimum) due to the fact that we are located a distance out in the country, but I was comfortable with that as for we ARE out here a ways. The install was exactly as expected and as for complaints I have none. Ace work from the crew at Quality Plumbing. I look forward to using their services when and if the need arises again.

From the time we called Richard this job was done professionally, quickly and very reasonably priced. His crew was very polite and very helpful. Any questions we had Richard answered for us and explained everything he was doing. There were no problems that arose on this job and we are so pleased with the quality of work that he provided us.
