 + -1 moreWe've used them for 35 years. We're very pleased with them. They don't do any major work until they call first and say what they need to do and what it's going to cost and what we want them to do. They are very honest with what they do and again if you have a problem afterwards just take it back to them and they will recheck it and they are very kind.

Description of Work: I provided all parts, filters & oil. They performed the maintenance. Shocks/struts changed all the way around, all four brake rotors and brakes changed, changed oil and fuel filters. They gave a generous military discount also. They didn't do any work I didn't ask them to and even reduced the standard rate for replacing the rear shocks because I removed the seats and back dash to get them right to the upper shock mount nuts. I had to bump my appointment date out two days due to my parts not arriving in the mail on time, and they didn't give me any hassle about it at all. They even put carpet protectors in my car to keep my newly shampooed carpet from getting dirty during the maintenance. I don't trust my baby (2000 BMW 740i M-Sport) with just anyone, and they took good care of it/me. I'd go back. I recommend if you go there, don't be cheap, take their advice and change what they recommend. You'll get what you pay for, or more.

If I get my car in and if I have a problem, they call me first and let me know what the problem is, what cost it's going to be and give choices of what I want to have it done & what not. The quality of service was excellent. Their pricing is reasonable.

 + -1 moreWe called before Christmas and asked if they could perform the repairs after Christmas. Since the shop was open we brought in the car on the morning of December 25th. The car was ready for pick up around 2 pm the same day.

 + -1 moreWhen I went in, the manager immediately called around town for the parts. Quoted me a good price. They fixed my car ahead of schedule and when the bill came, it was actually less than what he had quoted me. I felt very comfortable having them fix my car. Great service.

 + -1 moregood. I felt very comfortable with these folks, I come from a family of mechanics, their the first ones to tell you never trust mechanics!!! they were up front with costs, vehicle was back to me in a timely manner, they even dropped it off to my residence.

 + -1 moreThey would fix it and then two weeks later it was down again. It probably was manufacturing problem, but they didn't tell us that until after getting it "fixed" about 5 times. They didn't recharge us though so that was good. Eventually the replaced the suspension for a different system and it has been fine since then.
Description of Work: We wanted them to fix the air suspension in our ford expedition. It kept going out.

 + 1 moreWe had my Chevy at a Chevy dealer and they found that the transmission fluid had to be replaced, the estimate they had given us was a sum we could not afford easily so we went to Alamo Auto to get a second opinion. Not only was their estimate over $ 200 less, they also encouraged us to get a new gas filter which was only $ 50 but helped with the gas mileage and performance of the car. Everything was explained to us and we were even shown the replaced part and why it had to be necessary to replace it.We are satisfied customer and will go there for all our auto needs.
Description of Work: We have had multiple services done with this provider and it was always great, the people are very friendly, the prices are good and we have never been disappointed. Everything is explained, if something comes up while they work on the car they let you know right away and discuss possible solutions.
