Edward's Garage Doors

Ed did a great job for me the other day, he was punctual, upfront, and courteous and did the job in a professional manner. He didn't try to oversell and directed me to exactly what I needed.

Ed was prompt with my estimate, price was good, and very professional and nice to work with. I highly recommend him!

Ed came and immediately saw the problem was with the spring ring having broken off the main coil. He suggested we replace both springs since they were both the same age and would save me a potential issue in the future. I called him at 8am and he was here by noon, just as he stated he would be. Ed was very professional, can take a credit card right off his phone and my receipt was emailed to me before I could come back upstairs. Very good experience overall.

Late one weekend our garage door suddenly got stuck and the motor ended up destroying the top panel and damaging the spring. We called Edward the following morning and he scheduled a consultation very early the following day. He was extremely punctual and was able to assess the damage and provide detailed recommendations. He completed the repairs the following Saturday and the service was excellent. The garage door section was replaced with a new panel. He also identified flaws in the original installation and installed a new spring and struts. He also performed maintenance on our other garage doors and changed the struts. By the end all our garage doors were working better than ever. We are extremely satisfied with the service and highly recommend Edward for any garage repairs. We will definitely use him again in the future if the need arises!

I cant find any faults. what ever you can think of that you would want in a contractor and doing work in your home; Ed is just amazing. Wish he did other services beside garage doors. Thank you Ed for the great experience.

I emailed Ed last night, he replied this AM, and arrived on time this afternoon. Ed replaced the spring, answered my questions and tested all before leaving. couldn't ask for anything more. Thanks Ed!

I called him up. Ed said he could be there the next day and what time was good. He was there on time. Efficiently took care of the door. Adjusted the door better than the original installation. Ed is also a very pleasant, nice person to deal with.

Ed was the first of three companies to get back in contact with me and the first to come out and give me an estimate, so he was punctual. He answered lots of questions for me, and really seemed to know his product, which is high quality. He is the owner of the company. I have to say, it worried me a little when he said that he would do the job himself, without any help. It seemed at least a two-person job to me. I ended up going with a different company because their presentation was a bit better, and their price about $100 cheaper. But Ed would have been a close second choice.

Ed showed up on time and explained our options. After we selected the opener he tested the garage door springs and recommended they be changed as they were not strong enough for our 18' door. Finished the job in a couple of hours and we were quite pleased with how quiet, quick and safe the new door opener operated.

Easy to schedule appointment with Ed. He knows his profession very well. He advised me to consider a more extensive project, because my current doors do not have the rollers that he was prepared to replace. He left me information regarding new garage doors and offered excellent information. I will definitely use his company when I am able to follow through on this project.

The workman arrived on time and proceeded with the work. He completed the work in a timely fashion I would recommend them to for garage door work.

I originally purchased the garage door tune up. I wasn't surprised when told that the doors were outdated and needed replacement. I received a credit toward the door and it was replaced the next day. Options and prices were presented clearly so I was able to make an informed decision. The new door looks great and works great!

Our garage door works better now than it ever did before!

Last night the garage door opener refused to leave the door closed - it kept popping back open. This is a system that came with the house when we bought it last fall, so I'm not sure how old it is. I called Ed this morning, and he said he thought he could reach me by 4, would call back to confirm. He called back before noon and said he had a cancellation and could arrive by 2 today. I agreed, and he arrived on time. He examined the system and attempted to fix the issue but determined it was something that required contacting the manufacturer. Since I knew that there had been a recall for this opener (found that out last night, thank you internet), I asked about having the system replaced (besides learning about the recall, I also found out a bit about the different types of openers, brands and costs. I've learned the hard way that the discount special from the big box store is cheap for a reason - I would rather spend a little more and get something that won't cause me grief later). Ed gave me a quote on the spot and said he could finish everything in about 90 minutes. Everything Ed said was consistent with what I found on my own. He completed the work as promised, demonstrated the functions and helped me set up the security code. I now have a better system than I had in less time than I expected for a reasonable price.

From estimate to completion, Ed was wonderful. He came in and completed the installation timely, neatly, and fairly pricewise. I especially liked that it was just him, no dropping off guys or coming back and forth. I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family. I only wish Ed also did plumbing, painting, electrical, etc. so that I could have a professional do those jobs right!

My garage door broke yesterday, I looked up a provider on Angie's List, and called Ed. He came out early this afternoon and fixed the problem within 15 minutes! Great service, very nice and professional. Would use again.

It was extremely easy to set up the appointment for service. Ed showed up on time and completed the job quickly.
