Edward's Garage Doors

The owner Ed is just amazing. He is very professional, he doesn't try to sell you other unnecessary products or upgrades like other companies do. This is the second time using him and each time he comes the day we call and finishes the job and it is perfect!!!

We had used Edwards previously when we had a problem with a broken garage door spring. They came out the next day and repaired the spring quickly and at a great price. When the garage door opener died, it was a no brainer who we were calling. Again, they came out the next day, quickly and professionally replaced the opener and did not hit us over the head for the cost. I highly recommend Edwards for all your garage door needs.

Excellent. Edward called and confirmed the date and time of the appointment. Was there to personally take care of the issue. I had purchased 2 of these to cover 2 single garage doors on the Angies list deal. One was to fix a broken spring and the other was preventative. We bought an old house so the garage doors and opener kit are pretty old. Was on time. Explained what he was going to do. Did a walkthrough of what was done and answered some questions that i had. I am extremely pleased with the service.I'd certainly recommend to others and also engage again for other garage door work that comes up.

I am very happy with them. They did a nice job. He said he would be here at 9 and he pulled up at 8:59. I paid additional, because the motor on my garage door was broken and he replaced it. I knew he was getting close to finishing, and there he was, with his big broom, sweeping his garage. He swept up the garage door, and other than things he put there, there were leaves and all, but he swept it all. He was extremely responsive, and extremely professional. I will be using him for my other garage door pretty soon.

Ed was great. He came over the same day, and was very professional. He obviously knows what he is doing, and he seems very trustworthy and honest. He is now my "go-to" garage guy. His service is great, his prices are fair, and he seems like a "good guy". I highly recommend him.

He showed up right on time. And all of a sudden the door opened after not working for 4 days. He explained what could be the problem, fixed a couple of hinges. Very nice guy. Cost $79.

We purchased the special through Angie's List and scheduled the appointment for the next day. Ed came out on time and repaired the springs. The whole experience was excellent. This is the first time we used Angie's List and it has been such a positive experience. Ed even guarantees his work for a year. We are so pleased to have found him!

I originally purchased the Garage door tune-up and roller replacement for $89.00. During the tune-up I spoke to Edward about some other problems with the door and he suggested that I have the springs replaced and relocated higher up on the door frame. He said I could apply the tune-up cost towards the spring replacement instead of having the rollers replaced. I decided to just purchase the springs as well. He was very knowledgeable, and he explained how to maintain my garage door to avoid future problems. I would definitely recommend his company and use them again if we need any further service on the garage.

I called to take advantage of the $89 tune up offer, knowing I might have to pay more because my keypad had stopped working and that was not included in the tune up. Ed showed up on time and was very professional. He explained the cost of trying to fix the old keypad vs. the cost of a new keypad vs. a new opener/keypad combo. Considering the fact that my opener and keypad were already 21 years old, I decided to spring for new equipment. So I spent a lot more than the $89 offer, but I got an updated, safer & quieter opener that will hopefully last me another 20 years. I didn't feel like he tried to pressure me into replacement; it just made more sense to me.

It went excellent..I called ED on an a Friday and he came out on a Saturday and fixed the broken spring and pulley in a matter of 30 mins..He did an excellent job which also has a warranty for 1 year... Thanks ED.

I would HIGHLY recommend Ed. From my initial call through completion of the installation, Ed was extremely professional and easy to work with. He explained everything to me in great detail and answered all of my questions. He was flexible with his time to schedule an appointment that worked for me. He called to confirm the day before, and showed up on time. He went through the various installation options with me and helped me to decide which would be the best for me. He even re-greased my rollers for me because he noticed that they were a little squeaky. Once installation was complete, Ed explained every detail of the system and showed me how to use the various features. Ed, the owner, immediately responded to an inquiry regarding installing a new opener. I inquired on Saturday morning the 9th of Nov. He immediately contacted me, we discussed the new opener and features. We agreed on a price and he suggested that he could install the unit, the coming Monday. Ed and I traded texts as I had additional questions, immediately he responded. He arrived as scheduled, replaced and installed the new unit. Noticed the problem with the other door, explained why we needed to replace a broken spring and he completed that job. When I got home from work, I had some additional questions regarding operations of the door, he answered them and offered to come back the next day. I was fine after he aswered the questions, so there was no reason for him to return. Great service, responsiveness, etc. Recommend Edwards Garage to anyone.

I called Ed yesterday and left a message, Ed returned call within 1/2 hour and scheduled apt for 8AM today. Arrived at 8 Am....... how unique is that? Loved it. He discussed my options after hearing the loud noises the door was making and with no pressure gave an estimate and let me dicide what I wanted done. The door is working quietly and my fears of something snapping and hurting someone are gone. Thanks.

I had a problem with one of my electric garage doors, and based on Ed's location and glowing reviews, I called him at his home yesterday. I left a message on his answering machine. I then called his answering service where I actually got to speak to a PERSON who took down my information to forward it to Ed. Within 10 minutes, I received a phone call back from Ed who, based on my description, thought he knew what the problem was. Ed was very polite and spoke to me in "language" that I could understand. We made arrangements for Ed to come to my house this morning. Ed arrived exactly on time and to both of our delights, the problem was no where close to how badly I made it seem. Ed explained why the door was experiencing the problem, resolved the problem within 10 minutes, only charged me $20.00 for the diagnosis and correction, and was above and beyond reproach when he he advised me that I should take care of a few things in several weeks, but that there are other things that don't need to be done. Ed was honest, forthright, reliable, and I would not hesitate to recommend him to future customers. After all, what better compliment can I offer him than I intend on using him again in December.
