Gabrielle at D&D is my go-to example of a fantastic home contractor and experience. She was the only person who was able to fit my difficult timeline (since we had a baby on the way) and completed an entire house hardie board install in 8 days with maybe 1 day off in between. The workmanship of the install is still genuinely impressive when I walk around the house a year later. Worth every penny.

I've dealt with a lot of contractors over the years and have rated a few of them a 5; but D & D has to be the best I've had in every respect. Gabrielle is an honest, sincere, and very competent owner/manager. She is detail oriented and always seemed to place my needs first. One note on the preliminaries: If a contractor offers to give you a discount if you will sign a contract immediately...show him the door. Gabrielle never used any such tricks....just straight up and honest interaction. Promises made...promises kept. Her crew is outstanding. In the middle of the project, it snowed 10 inches, but that only slowed them down by a day. They actually shoveled off the parts of the lawn they were using for their staging/work areas. Even when the temp dropped to 8 degrees, they kept going all day long. Everyone worked non-stop. The siding and the new front door have both drawn a lot of praise from neighbors. And others who drive by slow down to look at the finished product. I can't say enough good things about D&D, Gabrielle and her crew. The only problem is that Home Advisor only lets me give a maximum of 5 starts.

I am thrilled beyond compare with the job done by owner Gabriella and her crew. The quality of materials and the work crews excellent craftsmanship made for a final product that was flawless. The crew is always on time and cleans up each day when leaving. I would give 10 stars if I could. Professional yet and excellent value.

Little things that we would never think of they do and they made it perfect. From set up to clean up this was THE best contractor experience we have ever had. Every morning Gabrielle was onsite checking over the work from the previous day and making sure that everything was perfect. Her team had a work ethic that cannot be matched, and they took the time to clean up after each hard day of work. It really speaks to the strong culture of the company. It was a pleasure working with Gabrielle, she goes over and above on what she does for the customer. Anytime we had a question or concern she addressed it. We have nothing but the highest praise for D&D. From the initial consultation through the project's completion, Dominic, Gabrielle, and their entire crew were a pleasure to deal with. If you want the job done right, choose Gabrielle and D&D. They did a beautiful job...then re-did minor things I didn t even notice because they re obsessively critical of their work. They worked on our house like it was their own. Nice people. Creative. Honest. And totally on it . They receive many accolades and they re all well deserved. The price was very reasonable too. If I could give them more than 5 stars on this site, I would.

If you are considering installation of Hardie Plank siding, it's critical that you hire someone that knows how to install it correctly. Too many contractors either don't know what they're doing or worse, deliberately take time saving shortcuts during the installation process. With D&D you don't need to worry about that. You have the peace of mind that your expensive siding is actually being installed correctly and will look good for 30 years. I wish D&D did more more than siding/windows/roofing because I would hire them for every single project that we have. I highly recommend this company.

Dominic and Gabrielle were excellent to work with and had two excellent subcontractors who you can tell specialized in Hardyboard Siding installations and Stone work. The job was done professionally and completed in a very timely manner.

They were honest,reliable,professional and efficient. They worked from 8:00 till 6:00 everyday and got our siding torn down and up in 2 1/2 days. They checked with me on everything they did and explained the process. There workers were knowledgable and impeccable. Dominick was helpful and very knowledgable and Gabi checked the site everyday. If your looking for a fair,reliable company this is the one to choose.

Gabrielle was very honest and easy to work with. Upon her first visit to our house, she explained in detail the entire process, and had samples for us to review. Once we decided to hire D&D, she stopped out and finalized the contract. No hidden surprises. Once the project started, her team completed the job quickly and cleaned up very nicely.

D&D recently installed HardiePlank siding and Azek window trim on a large renovation project for me in Ridgewood. Their work is impeccable, they stay on schedule, and they're very reasonably priced. Dominick or Gabi are on site every day to supervise the work, and they were knowledgeable enough to help suggest finishes that look great. Wow. Dominic is very responsive and very professional. He had the best price and he was my favorite to work with. Everybody that walked by the house stopped by to tell us how great the siding looked. The window borders they use look awesome. Absolutely satisfied with their work. They brought a small army and finished in one day.
