Excellent experience. Elwood (Project Mgr) was very professional and personable. The price for the work was excellent. Within a few days of accepting the estimate, they came and did the work. Elwood and his crew completed and cleaned up the job in one day. The new gutters look great.

After seeing Merryfields on Angies list, I asked a few people about them. Everyone gave them rave reviews. I left an email and got a call the next day from Lew Merryfield, the owner. He came out personally to give us an estimate. He was punctual and very professional. He also was very knowledgable and had answers for my questions. We agreed on a price and set the date for the work to be done. He did want to be sure that someone would be there in case there were any questions. I took the day off to get th work done. Rain pushed the time back to the afternoon, but Lew Merryfield kept me informed. And I was able to get in part of a day at work. He and his crew arrived at 1 pm; and after telling his forman what was to be done, and walking him around the building, he helped the men out for a while and then had to leave. The men were very nice. I had a couple things to point out but there was no problem getting anything done. They were just as polite and nice as could be. And they cleaned everything up before they left. They were done just before 5. The foreman walked me around the house to make sure everything was the way I wanted it. And answered a few more questions. I would highly recommend them for any job. In this day finding workmen like Lew and his crew is rare. Thanks to you all for a job well done.

Called Merryfield in early June to get a quote for replacing a leaky garden window in our kitchen. George came out a few days later and spent a good while talking with me about the pros and cons of replacing the garden window with a similar model, or a simpler two-panel window. I agreed that day to have him install the simpler window. He said he needed to order it and would get back to me when it arrived at the end of the following week. I hadn't heard anything even into the week after the window was supposed to arrive so I called to find out the status. George said the window hadn't arrived yet but that it was coming soon. Cutting to the chase, I had to call him again to find out what was going on, but he set up his schedule to install the window shortly after my second call. When he came with an assistant to do the work, you can tell he cares about his work and finishing a quality job. The window was installed well and he removed the old one. Overall, a job well done and I would recommend using George, but would ask for some more proactive communication.

Since I'm still waiting for a call, I would call it deplorable.

Elwood came out and gave us a great estimate. The work was completed during the next week. Elwood even came back out to fine tune a few things. He is a really nice guy and takes pride in his work. Thank you

For five years we've needed windows in our house but just couldn't deal with the window purchasing hassle/process many companies put you through. Finally we decided to give Angie's List a try and look for an installer. After reading some good reviews, I called Merryfield Construction Group. From start to finish, George and company made the process go without a hitch. Not only did they EASILY beat their competitor's window quality but they crushed their prices as well. ***Plain and simply put, if you need windows or any other services these guys offer, give them a call, you won't be disappointed... A++++

Merryfield Exteriors had more to offer than all of there competitors . They are certified installers of all the products they offer and provide better warranties also. We couldnt be more satisfied with the entire job. The professionals at Merryfield made us feel comfortable from start to finish.

Merryfield Construction Group did such a wonderful job on my home. They started out with my roof, I had some damage and started experiencing some leaks. They"re pricing was better then the other three quotes I had received from the other companies. It took them two days to completely tear off two layers of my roof, and install a brand new roof system (no more leaks). With the new roof system came new gutters and guards that work great. After such a great experience with the roof, I called them back out for my windows and doors that were over thirty years old, most of the my windows wouldn't even open. They came out and installed all new Anderson windows with custom stained trim inside. Also installing a new front entry door and three back french doors.

I'm new to Angie's list and just want to share my past experience with Merryfield Contruction (Rain Bird). I contracted them to replace my gutters on 2/16/06. I found out about Rain Bird by word-of-mouth and they did an outstanding job. A couple years later, a bad ice storm caused one of the supports to give way and a short section of the gutter broke loose. Rain Bird came over immediately and fixed the section free of charge. I recently had a minor leak in the same previously repaired section and they fixed that as well. I highly recommend this company for any rain gutter related projects. They are honest and reliable.

After the excellent job Rain Bird did on my gutters in 2006, I heard that they also provide replacement windows. I hired them to replace all of the windows in my home. They assigned a 2 man team with an experienced professional and a helper. The pro was simply amazing. His caulking technique was amazing. It was so neat and straight. The man is an artist. He also capped the window frame with aluminum with the same expertise. I highly recommend this company for any replacement window related projects.

I needed to replace my gutters. I did some research through the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Affers and saw that Rainbird had good ratings. The salesman was prompt for our estimate and work began a week later. Everything looks and is working great. I would recommend them.
