One of the windows seemed to have a problem. I called them and they were going to send someone out. Then my wife and I figured it out and it wasn't a problem so I called them back. They were willing to come out and take care of it but it wasn't necessary. I did have to do a little touch up work where they had to tear out the old windows, but it wasn't a problem for me because I had some touch up paint. They sent me something so I was able to get a rebate for my taxes. I would use them again. Their price was competitive and they are working fine. They showed up on time and everything was on schedule. I was quite pleased with them. They had a good crew.

I expect a bid to be in writing, itemized, and to include references. The Tri-State represenative was not able to provide me with any of these items. Instead, I was told to "believe them", they are the lowest price and the best work. Additionally, I was told the price the represenative quoted me would not be good once they left my house, but would go up by over $2000 dollars. The represenative understood the product they were selling, but was unable to answer questions about Tri-State's installation practices. Overall, the experience was more like dealing with an aggressive used car salesman, than a quality contractor. You would have to be a fool to sign a contract for thousands of dollars of work on your home, without doing your homework and checking on your contractor.

Tri-State Window and Door Factory was very good. They showed up on time and I was very satisfied. The quality of the windows was good. We had a window come off the track and they sent someone out right away to fix it.

The contractor had an issue with the brakes on his vehicle and was consequently delayed for 5 hours, but he pulled additional personnel from another job and he and his 2 helpers were able to complete the install in record time (3hrs). They did a great job with clean up, as well as caulking all the gaps. My place is incredibly air-tight now and actually feels warmer. They removed and discarded all of the old windows and debris left behind. The company guarantees a 40% reduction in heating bills. I would definitely use them again.

Anthony Wentre, the President and the Sales person is great. He lives up to his word. The way he was talking I knew he had room for a better price and I grabbed it. Initially I had some logistical problems with the office staff. Mainly not returning phone calls and not passing the messages. As in any other project once I got involved I was able to sort out every thing. The crew arrived at 7:30am with all the stuff. They knew what they were doing. When they cut opened the outside wall to expand the window (from 1 window to 3 windows) we discovered the interior wall was also made of cement block. Therefore they had unexpected extra work. Of course Anthony wanted extra money for the extra work but they did lot of extra work like the brick finishing they had to do. It took them couple of days to finally finish the work. End of the day they did a fantastic job installing the new window and also replacing the old windows.

There were some weather issues that slowed them down a little bit but overall it took them about five days to get the job done. They were very professional, polite and cleaned up their mess well. They did give me a good deal on the rates but I am not comfortable saying how much it was.

TRI-STATE WINDOW DID A FANTASTIC JOB ON INSTALLING MY NEW WINDOWS. THE WINDOWS LOOK FABULOUS AND THEY ARE SO EASY TO CLEAN. I KNOW THEY ARE GOING TO SAVE ME MONEY ON MY ENERGY BILLS AS WELL.

THEY WERE GOOD. THEY WERE POLITE. THEY CAME AT THE TIME THAT THEY SAID TO DO THE INSTALLATION. THEY MADE SURE THAT THEY DON'T SHOW UP WHEN IT'S CLOUDY. THEY MADE SURE THAT THE WEATHER WAS GOOD.

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THEY WERE EFFICIENT AND PROFESSIONAL IN THEIR WORK AND THEIR MANNERS. THEY DID CLEAN UP EVERYTHING AND THEY DID A NEAT JOB. I THINK THAT THE PRICE WAS A LITTLE HIGH, BUT IT WASN'T BAD.
