+ -1 moreHe was honest and addressed all my concerns. He seemed sincerely interested in everything I had to say. He will be coming back to do the work in couple of weeks since I have another ongoing project.
Description of Work: We spoke on the phone and he dropped by same day to provide estimate for 200 amps electric panel update. His estimate was in line with others. He was amazingly thorough and nice and spent almost an hour addressing my concerns with various electric issues I had in my house. He will come back to do the electric panel upgrade in couple of weeks.

+ -1 moreI have used Joe a couple of times already and he is the best... He always shows up when he says he will and he is an expert in his field.. I would recommend him to anyone who needs electrical work done in their home.
Description of Work: Change out outlets and light switches.. Install sconces thru out the house and wire my island in kitchen for electricity.

+ -1 moreI installed a smoke alarm and shorted something out. My boiler stopped working, and it was a cold night. Nobody picked up the phone because it was sunday. Except this company. He said he already had a job to do that would take all day. But agreed to come by afterwards because he didnt want my kids to sleep in the cold. He came a few minutes later than he expected, but he said this was possible up front, so it was fine. He was in my home less than 30 minutes. He is a third generation electrician, and a war veteran. He knows a great deal, and that was clear even to me, but i can't install a smoke alarm so take it for what it's worth. He was very nice, and i highly recommend him.
Description of Work: Fix electricity so boiler would work and installed 6 connected smoke alarms.

+ -1 moreA breeze from start to finish. Th only glitch was from the town's building office, who kept us waiting for weeks for a permit!
Description of Work: Joseph's Electrical Service was a pleasure to work with. Easy to work with and really knows his trade. Arrived promptly, worked safely and upgraded the old electrical panel in my basement. Finished the job ahead of schedule (one full day) and came back the next day to replace and add outlets and thermostat. Very reasonable prices and responds promptly to calls. He recently came back for a small job (added a 4 prong outlet for a new electric dryer) and will return when I renovate my kitchen. Why can't all tradesmen be this good?
