Main Line Electric

I had a small fire and melting of an outside GFCI outlet. I contacted Main Line Electrics office and left a voicemail, which was returned within 30 minutes (still waiting days for other electricians to return my calls). We scheduled an appointment with Troy for the very next day and he arrived exactly at the time he committed to. He immediately assessed the situation, told me what needed to be done and proceeded to complete the repair and replacement of the GFCI within an hour. This was all done with the utmost professionalism, tremendous work ethic and at a great price for an emergency call. I can’t say enough about what a wonderful overall experience I had with Troy and Main Line Electric.

I called around for a quote and this company was reasonable and responsive. I hired this company for the small job, figured it can’t hurt to ‘try them out’ because it was a simple job. They showed up on time, courteous, respectful and took time to explain process. He introduced himself as Troy and Troy jr. I hired them for another job semi emergency. Again same great service. Reasonably priced and 5 star service. I found a new electrician :-)

All went well. Able to schedule within a two week period. Work was completed in a timely manner. Workmanship was skillful and efficient. Will be installing electric and lighting for my kitchen renovation next month.

just 2 days before my daughters graduation, an electrical circuit closed down without clear reason. Though experienced in electrical work, I was unable to find the issue. As before, I called Troy and he made himself available. After posing relevant questions, he was quick to diagnose the problem. Once again I refer to Troy as the "go to guy electrical".

New line ran to accommodate different style breaker along with other necessary adjustments. Troy is now my go-to guy electrical.

Initially was referred to Troy by neighbors when needed a ceiling fan installed. Troy fit me in his schedule in a very timely manner and advised me of cosmetic issues that would occur due to the work being done. He provided numerous options and made recommendations, performed the work in a timely manner and charged a very reasonable rate. I've also used Troy to repair a tripping circuit; he again provided a couple of options and did not try to upsell or go overboard on fixing the problem. His rate was again very reasonable. Most recently used him due to an unrelated flickering light issue (that was present before he did any work in the house). He was able to quickly solve this issue and, again, provided quick and courteous service with a very fair price. He is our go-to electrician!

I was not pleased. I would never use them again. The cost was twice as much as I expected it was going to be. They didn't explain things in enough detail. They left a lot of the sockets with holes around them. I had to call and complain to get them to come out to repair them. That should have been done during the initial work. It was too expensive, and the work was not good. I would never recommend them to anyone. When they had to come back to finish the work, they charged me for it. They were eating while they were working, and they left the trash on my floor when they were done.

They were excellent. They did arrive on time and did high quality work. The price that I paid was reasonable for the work that they did. I would recommend them in the future.

Troy was punctual, professional and courteous. He did excellent work. The motion sensor light kept shutting itself off. He came back and switched it to another. It turned out the placement of it with the overhang of the roof was causing light to bounce back, making the light "think" it was daytime. A shield was put up to avert this problem. We would recommend this company and would use them again.

We were very happy with them. Their price was very reasonable. They gave me an estimate of eight hours, but they were probably here only six. The day we agreed to do the work, he went to get the permit right away.

He was very good. He could tell by one plug in the room that they were all out. Troy physically took a volt meter in my house and plugged it into every plug in the house. He was meticulous.

Excellent. Had worked with Troy and company on big job several years ago. Called, he remembered, came after hours to evaluate, came next day to finish.

The crew arrived and I described the problem to them including how I determined there was a problem. Almost immediately, they determined the cause and proceeded to correct the problem.

My appointment was for a Saturday afternoon. They arrived early but I was pleased because I had the remainder of the day to run errands. The work was completed within a few hours with no disruption. Troy and his assistant were very professional.

Troy the owner called me back around 9 pm the same day I left a message. He called again to confirm the night before the electricians were to come. Rob and Kurt were ready to do the work that same day, instead of just giving me an estimate. The job was done in a little over an hour. The job looks neat and secure. They made adjustments to the motion sensor settings, and showed me how to readjust them again if need be. In addition, they left the instructions from the fixtures. They cleaned up well. You can't ask for much more!

They finished everything in a timely manner & their prices are very reasonable. They were also very flexible & willing to work with us. I would certainly recommend them.
