Chris, his brother Anthony and uncle John did a professional job of replacing the boards on my pool deck and fencing that were destroyed during a nor'eastern. They were pleasant to work with and always cleaned up the job site at the end of the day. I wish that all of the contractors I've dealt with were as conscientious.

Clean Cut Renovation Solutions recently renovated our existing covered porch into a three season room. Beginning with the estimate process we found Chris to be extremely professional, punctual and reliable. We were given an estimated start date based on his work schedule and work began when expected. Chris and his crew worked on our renovation from start to finish and completed the project in less time than we had expected. They did an outstanding job and accommodated our requests for minor tweaks throughout the project. We appreciated their attention to detail and being respectful of our property while working. Chris did major renovations for us. His team added rooms to our home, bedrooms, bathrooms and a basement! Even did our roof! They did an outstanding job on the renovations, from beginning to end there was great communication and we are planning on hiring them again. Signed a contract in March of 2016 to have two small additions to my home. Unfortunately I fell into the 'used car salesman' trap to sign a contract before Joe (Chris's brother) left my house. He aggressively sold me on the ability to utilize his 'relationships' with the town's building inspector and code enforcement officer to allow my project to be constructed against building code with no issue. During our discussions, it was promised and verbally agreed that the work on the first addition would be complete by June 19, 2016. June 19th came and went, and work hadn't even begun. There were all sorts of excuses made where the architect and building department were blamed for the delays. Clean cut and I then agreed to start the project again in 2 stages, one in July of 2016 and the other in September of 2016. As July, approached I received a phone call from the owner indicating that he would only do the project if both were done together at the same time. He knew that the back project could not be started at that time, as it was originally supposed to be completed by June 2016 and we couldn't have the back of the house under construction during the summer. This forced us then to push our start date to October 2016. Due to some personal circumstances that occurred, the constant delays in our project and the unprofessional disregard for building codes, we decided to cancel the project all together and request a portion of our deposit back. In our conversations, I agreed to FAIRLY forfeit part of the deposit for which expenses have already been incurred by Clean Cut (Architect, Permits) and also forfeit some of the deposit for the minimal amount of time (3, 1 hour meetings) Joe spent with me and my wife discussing and planning. Unprofessionally, the Clean Cut team refused to refund any of the deposit. Went so far to not respond to phone calls or text messages. I am now in the process of filing the relevant paperwork with the court to recoup some of my deposit back and also plan to discuss this matter with the building departments of my town and the neighboring towns to ensure these guys can't continue to earn new business by using the circumvention of building codes and their relationships with the relevant people to their advantage. In the meantime, I hope to get my message across to anyone looking to have work done, be careful. Don't be fooled!

We moved to the area and weren't familiar with any contractors or local businesses. After interviewing multiple companies, we felt very comfortable with Chris and knew he would be able to get the job done. Chris was extremely honest to work with and does everything he can to make sure the client is happy. They re-tiled the majority of our first floor, expanded our master bath and renovated another half bath in two weeks time. Their team was extremely courteous and takes extreme pride in the work that they do. We love the results and are looking forward to hiring CCR for future projects this year!

All the workers who came to my home treated it as if it was their home. Everyday everything was cleaned completely. The workers went out of their way to be helpful. The workmanship was excellent. My bathrooms are top notch. We couldn't be happier with the whole experience.

We hired CCR to build a two tier deck for our front entrance. We have a very unique house for the area and did not want a contractor proposing a simple “cookie cutter” plan of a basic wood deck. The house is a fairly massive A-Frame structure with red cedar wood siding. It is approximately 28 years old with the original stairs being constructed of a series of steps made from railroad ties. It is also in the middle of 3+ acres of woods. All this said, the challenge was to construct a deck that “fit” the house and looked as if it was part of the original architectural plans. I can say without hesitation that CCR exceeded my expectations from start to finish. Joe and Chris visited our house and listened attentively to our requirements. Within a day they had a computerized CAD design of the deck, which really alleviated our initial concerns. We knew they “got it” and understood we wanted to make this front deck the grand entrance the house was currently lacking. My wife and I also liked the fact it is a family owned and operated business. Once the plans were approved by the township, the project took only about 2.5 weeks to complete (even with some rain) which was according to the timeline they promised us. The project was made more complicated by the railroad tie retaining walls and stairs, but Chris, Anthony and their team carefully demo’ d the necessary structure of the railroad ties so that the deck “locked” into the design of the retaining walls. At the request of my wife, they even flared out the first level staircase which makes the deck look more formal and inviting. Every person that has seen the “before and after” look of the front entrance has complimented the extensive design and the craftsmanship. Great job and BIG “Thank you” to the entire team! We would definitely hire CCR again for our next big project.

Work was done when Chris said it would be. I received quotes from 3 contractors, by far, he had the best price and gave me more for the money. Easy to work with, his crew was very nice. Chris stayed on top of the job. I'm very happy.

Chris, Anthony and their team were great to deal with. I covered an existing deck, and was not sure exactly what type of structure I wanted. Chris worked with me until we came up with something that I liked. The execution of the work was done according to the specs. I am very happy with the final result and would hire them again.

After getting multiple estimates and spending two weeks interviewing various contractors; I made the decision to go with Clean Cut Renovations. I selected them because they had the best ideas/solutions from all the contractors that I interviewed. Price was important to but as they say, buy cheap you buy twice. They were not one of those high pressured companies that provide you with a lower price if you agree to sign a contract ASAP. They were honest and fair from the beginning. More about this topic later. They actually impressed with the thought process of how they were going to target the project and once again the solutions/ideas that they provided me with. They kept me informed throughout the entire project. I like to know what������������s going on at all times, some people call it OCD . I am one of those google everything type of guys... I work in I.T . Sometimes it������������s easy to pick a lower price company, but the ideas/solutions were just not creative enough for me or the company does just enough work. I wanted someone that gave me that good feeling from day one. Now onto the work that was completed by them. My house is a one level ranch built in 1967, it������������s in Woodbridge NJ. The previous owners put aluminum siding over existing wood cedar shakes. They also had replacement windows installed 12 years ago and they were starting to leak. I had Clean Cut remove both layers of siding all the way down to the ply wood and all the windows were removed as well. They installed Tyvek, Rigid Foam Insulation and Double Dutch Lap (Vinyl Siding) along with all the new construction windows. Also new Gutters along with downspouts. They cleaned up any debris daily which made my neighbors happy as they are those type of people to quickly complain. Once everything was completed I could not have ask for a better contactor and now I personally think I have the best looking house on the block. At least I hope I do. Now back to the point about them being honest and fair. I wanted to do an additional project on the interior of the house and rather then they just taking the Job; he recommended that I not invest my money on the interior project. He gave me other ideas for the interior that were more economical and would increase the value in a more substantial way. A contactor that is willing to look out for the customer rather than line their pockets is ok in my book.

Clean Cut did wonderful remodeling for us. Anthony and Chris are experienced, highly qualified and great to deal with. We hired Anthony of Clean Cut to remodel and update our old deck. We were very happy with how beautiful it looked and with them. So we hired them to completely remodel our kitchen and bathroom. LOVE the way both turned out! We get so many compliments on the remodel. We never dreamed the kitchen and bathroom in our older home would turn out that beautiful. We have recommended Clean Cut to family and friends for their projects. Call them and you will be happy too!

We were very happy with The Clean Cut Remodeling crew. They responded promptly and were very courteous. They redid our old deck and deck stairs; removed everything from deck, rebuilt a beautiful new deck with a wider set of stairs, removed all debris and returned everything back to deck including our hanging flower pots.
