They were very good and very responsive. There was an issue after they put the a/c unit but they came right out and fixed it. They kept everything very clean and it's really a pleasure to work with them.

Water had been appearing on top of my washer in the laundry room. A technician came out and assessed the problem but could not find a leak. He felt the problem was condensation from a pipe above the washer so he wrapped the pipe in a rubber sleeve. I haven't seen anymore water so it was a easy fix.

Arrived less than two hours after I called for service and two hours later, my new gas hot water heater was installed and making hot water. Matt added two ball valves, replacing the older stop valves. Clean, timely, efficient job. Having used Fante?s in the past, I can say they do a good job at reasonable prices. Who can ask for more.

They came out when they said they would, did what they said they would, at the price they said they were going to.

Fante's Plumbing staff are super responsive. they were able to find a slot to install new water heater on the same day. I called at 11 AM and they showed up at 2:30 pm. Jessica is very helpful to explain the total cost of work and details of the work. Kevin and one guy showed up and get it done in 1 and half hour. they pulled permit from the township ahead of appointment. the water heater is ready to work after the installation. very pleased by the quality of work and communication. I called few other plumbers and they were either not reachable or had difficult time to meet the timeline I was looking for. price is on the high side of average cost of installing water heater. but I'm fine with it as I was looking for high quality service under short notice.

This was a purchase made through Costco. I was to get a rebate from Costco as well as from a NJ Green program after completion of the install. When I signed the contract, I was told only "the cream of the crop" did the Costco installs. The guys that did my install did an ok job, but I would hardly call them "the cream of the crop". They put down tarps on the tile floors but not on my living room rug. That would have worked out much better the other way around. It was February and it was wet and muddy. The cardboard boxes were left in my yard. On the day of completion, the filter to the humidifier was not properly installed. A couple of hours after they left, water was pouring out of my attic door (unit was in my attic) onto my hardwood floor. By the time I found it, there was standing water on the floor. It was now after hours on a Friday night. I got a call back from the on-call service person and was told what to do to turn off the water supply to the humidifier. The turn off valve was in a closet and that was leaking as well. Someone did come on Saturday morning and fixed everything. The drain pipe from the humidifier drains right at the foundation of the house. That area of my house is now all green with mildew. Five months later, I had received only one of two state rebate checks and nothing from Costco. I called Fante's and was told Costco had mailed it. A few weeks went by and still no check. I called again and was told don't call us we'll call you if we hear anything. I called Costco directly, they looked into it and I had my check a week later. About a month later, I got a call from the state rebate program. They told me Fante's had filled out the paperwork incorrectly, they had been notified and as soon as they corrected the problem I would get my check. That was well over six months ago. I called Fante's several times and each time I am told they'll look into it. But the same as the Costco rebate, I never hear back from them. The equipment works well but the service leaves much to be desired. They never follow up on phone calls and it obviously is not important to them if I get my rebates or not....they got their money!! Big disappointment!!

It developed a leak a month after they finished. Will call someone else in future. Updated as of 03/04/14: They originally put in a new furnace for us just after we bought our house in the late 1980's. It was in fact them who did this work in the bathroom. I did express my dissatisfaction a month after they did this work. They did not offer to repair the leak or fix the problem. If they would have put in something better or extended the pipe, this wouldn't have been an issue. Installed a water heater and furnace combo on 09/12/1996.

The technician did a great job today - even showed up on time during the snow storm!

We received an estimate by Bob McCarthy who was very informative, professional, and courteous. We decided not to proceed as we really wanted Trane equipment and Fante's only offers Lennox. We would consider Fante's or recommend them if someone was in the market for Lennox equipment.

Removal of the old equipment was quicker and cleaner than expected. The home was not without heating for any significant amount of time, and the new units work very well. They did a very professional installation, cleaned up everything, and even re-wired the circuit to the system and hot water heater. The new thermostat is wonderful, and the sump pump works as expected. When it came to the inspection of the new system, the township inspector stated afterwards that Fante's always does very professional work.

The installation was really nice, everything is running smoothly. Matt and Cody did a good job. They were efficient. They made sure I had all of the information.

On Thanksgiving my garbage disposal died. That backed up the kitchen sink making it unusable. |Fantes came the next day - corrected the problem and showed us how to avoid the problem in the future.

The man who came was very friendly and personable, and we enjoyed chatting with him.

Called for estimate. Received a response the same day. Arrived to review the project and give an estimate as promised. When contacted to perform work a day was set up immediately to perform work. On the install date, arrived promptly, coordinated work with the electricians and completed work as promised. Discussed where to place unit for the best outcomes. Included us in every aspect of the work. Pleasant, courteous, knowledgeable. Cleaned up when work was completed. meet or exceeded our expectations. Would definitely use them again. And the Angie's list coupon was honored.

They came on time, worked quickly and were very professional. I would use them again.

No issues so far. Did a clean, prompt installation.

They sent someone right away and he knew exactly what was wrong when I described the problem. He gave me info about the unit that it was a builders model(cheap) and should probably be replaced in the next 1-2 years. I was very greatful for his knowledge and his extra information about our problems.

They did fine. They did everything they said they would.

I could not be happier that I joined Angies List and called this provider. They arrived within 2 hours of my call and had the unit repaired in a matter of minutes! So grateful for the fast professional service, it's going to be 93 today!!!

The original company we were going to use told me they could not install for 6 weeks. My daughter has sever Asthma and Allergies I could not wait 6 weeks. So I looked up Lennox and they provide a list of companies that installed the Lennox system I wanted. I called Fante's on Monday afternoon 6/10/13 and spoke with Jessica she was extremely polite and very helpful. She put Kevin the manager on the phone and I told him what unit I wanted and how fast I needed it due to my daughters health, and they provided estimate over the phone and sent Rich that night to my home to confirm all the measurements and we signed Monday night. Friday 6/14/13 they installed. The installers arrived at 8:00am and were completed by 2pm. They went over the entire system with us explained all the functions of the new thermostat and cleaned up the work area. I was very happy with the entire experience we had with Fante's I would use again and recommend.

What I thought would be a long, drawn out process involving a lot of my personal time, was in fact, very easy and relatively quick. The old boiler and oil tank were removed one day, and the new gas system was installed and up and running the following day.

From beginning to end took about 15 minutes. cleaned up and was very personable.
