It went really well. By drilling many small holes near the bottom of the basement wall to let out water that has been accumulated and retained behind the wall. It was just amazing to watch the water shoot out the minute the hole was drilled. So much water! South Jersey Water Proofing did a marvelous job.! They work nonstop professionally and they clean up nicely, too. My basement wall is now dry and stay dry after so many thunder storms we had had lately. No more smelly basement when humidity is high. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Work was professionally performed with minimal inconvenience. The crew was prompt and provided clear, helpful explanations for all the work. Job site cleanliness was maintained throughout. A very pleasant experience! Thanks guys!!

Phil was fantastic! Phil was the only contractor who recommended crack injection to solve my basement problem. I had two settlement cracks that would leak with sustained heavy rains. Every other company insisted on ripping up the concrete floor and placing a French drain and sump pump system ----- that would have been great if I didn't already have a FUNCTIONING system! Phil responded quickly and performed the work with no issues. He backs his work for three years and recommended I wait for several heavy rains before writing this review. I told him I found South Jersey Waterproofing on Angie's List. Price was great vs the others. I would hire again.

One word OUTSTANDING! The workers showed up on time and preformed the necessary repairs. They were very professional and polite, and they took the time to explain how they were going to do the repair. Pricing was in line with my budget and most of all the experience was hassle free. Don't be fooled by knock off companies that just want to turn a profit stick with SOUTH JERSEY WATERPROOFING.

They were the cheapest and gave me the most. They were on time. There were three guys who worked from start to finish.. Cleaned up when done, I wanted to feed them but they wanted to go onto the next job.

Phil and family were terriific! We bought our house in the summer. With the winter thaw and rains our sump pump wasn't keeping up, we had leaks in different places in our basement walls. Phil arrieved promptly and knew exactly what the issues and how to solve them. He gave us an estimate after looking at all the issues. We got a written estimate by email on the same day. When we decided to go with SJ Waterproofing, they were able to get us in the schedule the next day and the work was completed in about 3 hours. They used tarps on my floors from the front door to the basement and left everything cleaned up and neat. They explained how the new sump pump worked. We are so pleased!

They arrived on time as scheduled. The work was completed quickly and neatly. We received final approval from the township quickly. I would certainly use them again.

It's competitive in general, even it did not propose the lowest price. On time, professional, very responsive.

This team was nothing short of fantastic. Phil came out to access what was going on and to make sure I wasn't throwing money away as originally we were only going to get an existing drain fixed which was only taken care of the down spouts. The problem was the water was coming up through concrete because the sun room was an addition which lays 2 inches lower the than the concrete slab of the house. The communication was great every step of the way. They showed up at 7AM and went right to work. Very courteous, friendly and professional. I was amazed how particular they were. They cut out a portion of my concrete patio and installed a draining system there as well. The cement work was incredible after they installed that portion. Very meticulous. Through out the process Phil walked me through and explained every bit of the work to me. Don't hesitate if you have a water problem. These guys are great and very honest. I will be using them to clean the system out semiannual. Phil said they will also do a walk around to assure maintenance beyond the cleaning is not necessary. Frank

Phil came out and provided a detailed estimate for the work that we needed on the foundation of our house. He was friendly, professional, and happily answered all of our questions. This is a family-owned business that specializes in waterproofing and foundation repair, and they really know their stuff! We ended up not using them for one reason only... we went with a contractor who could perform all of the work we needed on the house, not just the foundation work. However, we plan to do some basement waterproofing in the future, and South Jersey Waterproofing will be our first call.

The job went great, Phil and his team arrived on time completed the work and cleaned up the area. My basement looks fantastic, now I actually don't mind going down there now.

Called numerous water proofing company's all wanted to run new drain system to sump pump one even tried selling a whole system which I allready had,south jersey waterproofing came in identified problem area and updated the problem area for a third of the estimates I was getting Phil was very knowledgeable and knowing how long they have been in business was very confident in his fix glad I called south jersey waterproofing.

I had an old trench drain system that was clogged; basement was flooding every time it rained. I dealt with Phil Jr. who was friendly and professional. Phil and the crew showed up right on time, they performed the work as promised quickly and efficiently. When it turned out I needed some additional follow-on work done not in the original contract (the window well drains), he was also very responsive and able to work me in the same week. I would definitely recommend this company for any basement waterproofing services.

THE most friendliest and nicest contractor we've dealt with on our home improvement journey. Got an honest estimate and discussion during the quote period, when someone else had already quoted us 3x the amount. Great communication, on time, pleasant, professional gentlemen. Joe even swept my floor and steps when they were done! Hire these guys!!

Phil and his crew arrived at 6:45AM, immediately got to work, and completed the job in 5 hours. All work performed as quoted in the proposal. As a specialty company these are the right guys to call for this type of work.

They were great from the beginning to end. They were quick to come and give us a full assessment of the work, time, and cost. They submitted the application for the building permit and notified me when it was ready so that I could pick it up at the borough hall. We postponed the work for a few months to give us time to get ready. (We had to throw out much, move a lot to the garage, and move the remaining items to the center and cover everything with plastic.) They came back once at our request to make sure that our preparations would give them the room and access we needed. They showed up on time both days, a crew of three including Phil. They had the borough inspector come out on the second day while they were working so the inspection was done at the same time. They worked quickly. There was remarkably little dust afterward. They cleaned up the basement, the backyard, and the driveway. You couldn't tell that they had ever been there, except that we had a new drain! They were very good at giving us information about what would happen and what to expect when they finished. We already had someone come to the house and give us an estimate to replace the sheet rock. He commented that SJ Waterproofing were thinking ahead on our behalf because the way that the sheet rock had been removed would make it the simplest and easiest job to replace. Wow! While I hope that we never have to use them again (problems solved!), but I would not hesitate to call them again for help or recommend them for any such job.

If you have to spend your hard-earned money on a sump pump and french drain, this is the company to call. After seeing the reviews on Angie's List, we had high expectations, and Phil and his crew exceeded every one. They were on time (even early!), did exactly what they said they would do, did a great job cleaning up the site, and charged a fair price. They were professional and did an excellent job. I would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone.
