+ -1 moreHad multiple quotes for my roof, Matrix Remodeling's price was competitive and estimate was thorough, no hidden costs. Communication was spot on, didn't miss a beat. Job day, they showed up on time, worked hard all day and completed the roof as scheduled. Clean, friendly, would recommend to others. My old roof was in poor shape and had several unforeseen issues, Matrix tackled the job with confidence, priced us very fair, and the new roof looks great!

+ -1 moreThey did a good job and I think the price was good. They left the area clean and removed all trash. One concern was that the workers did not speak English and the communication was not good. Because of this fact I would not recommend.

I had the exterior trim myself, Ralph offered to paint the trim prior to starting the work, my wife and I agreed and Ralph even came back (after the initial estimate) to pick up the trim and paint the trim at his location. His work was top notch. I would definitely hire Matrix Remodeling again.

+ -1 moreWe are very pleased with Ralph and will use Matrix again. Ralph was honest (he told us we have 3 - 5 yrs left on our roof instead of trying to pressure us into replacing it now), he arrived at the agreed upon time. He gave us the dry rotted, old pipe boot flanges so we could see how damaged they were. He cleaned the gutters although we didn't request the service. He said he'd email us pics of the areas inspected but we haven't received them, yet. Wondering if our spam filter has blocked it. All in all, we are happy with Ralph's work.
Description of Work: We didn't like the look of some upturned shingles on our 15 yr old roof and wanted a roof inspection. We left a msg for Matrix and Ralph called us back promptly. Ralph inspected our roof and refastened/resealed attic fan and heat stack flanges, replaced two worn pipe boot flanges, reset some shingles, and cleaned the roof of debris and cleaned out our gutters.

+ 0 moreRalph did a great job and went above and beyond to make sure it was done well and looked good! Ralph is exemplary as a businessman, agreeable, and caring.
Description of Work: New walls put in basement after waterproofing left half a wall all around. Ralph also repaired some other damage that the basement waterproofing people left. Also pressure-washed our garage, that was covered with mold and even moss. Looked new when completed.

+ 2 moreWe found Matrix through a referral from a neighbor who was pleased with a significant home improvement project Matrix did for them. That was over five years ago, and since then Matrix has replaced our roof and gutters and also completed a few other projects for us, both large and small. The reason Matrix gets our repeat business is simple; Ralph treats each project like its being done on his own home. Matrix has always followed through and their responsiveness has continued to earn them new projects as they arise.

+ 0 moreRalph was very accommodating on the scheduling of the work performed and was able to complete the job completely, timely, and at a fair price for services performed. We were very satisfied with Ralph's work and ended up contracting him again the next year in replacing a non-functioning shower in our master bathroom as well as paint the room following install, which also we were very pleased with the final results. Overall, I would highly recommend Ralph and would use him again.
Description of Work: My house had an original roof built in 1997 that was showing obvious signs of aging and begun to leak in one area as well. It required complete replacement. We also replaced an upstairs window that was cracked at a later date.

+ -1 moreThe work was done by the owner, Ralph. He was courteous, neat and paid attention to detail. In the spring or summer I may have the entire door replaced and would definitely call on Matrix again. I told Ralph that he can use me as a reference.
Description of Work: My exterior door needed repair. The seal between the threshold and the door had to be replaced and the door was out of square. The door was removed, fill injected in the threshold, cut down the door to fit the new seal, squared up the door and it replaced.

+ 4 moreHe did such a fantastic/perfect job, we hired him to also finish our basement, paint the interior of our home, install and new roof and gutters and remodel our bathrooms. All of the work still looks brand new after over 10 years! He also has great taste for recommending just the right colors and other visual effects. Ralph's work is meticulous; he is hardworking and very trustworthy. His prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend him and I am available for a reference.

+ 3 moreI was totally happy with the work and would recommend him to anyone with a problem--no matter the size. Overwhelming problem--he has an answer and a little creative touch to make it yours.
Description of Work: During a storm from spring of 2015, a very large tree fell on my house. It destroyed the porch and the side of my house--roof and siding. The insurence company would pay to side the house but I had to put the original trim back. I didn't think the whole house needed to be resided. Ralph came up with a very creative and ecologically sound plan. We took off the siding on both sides of the house at the top. Then bought new siding in a different color and reused the good siding on the one wall. He redid my porch and even added some surprising touches that fit the style of the house. Being a single woman, Ralph was easy to work with. His information was clearly communicated and the numbers fair and payments easy to handle. He waited for the insurence money to come at the end and never complained. I enjoyed working with this professional who, when he had to come inside, was so considerate of my house and while he worked outside, he took care of my rose bushes. He is an honest man with good ideas and excellent skills.
