I can honestly say that this is the best contractor we have ever worked with. Mike (owner) and Andrew arrived promptly every morning. The job took exactly five days which was what Mike had told us. Their workmanship was beautiful. The extra storage that Mike helped design is fantastic! I would recommend them to anyone wanting a stress free and beautiful kitchen renovation! If there was a grade above "A" I would surely give it to them!

It was 5pm appointment. He came right on time. He looked very exhausted. We didn't like any of the samples he showed us.

This company did everything as the explained they would,in a timely and professional matter. The work is absolutely perfect and the owner is on every job as promised. They are an awesome crew to work with! I refer them to everyone to get a beautiful kitche for a reasonable price.

We liked our kitchen layout when we bought our home but we hated the color....a dingy beige that never felt clean. Since the boxes were in great shape we decided to reface them instead of replacing.....We had 55 doors in our kitchen to replace so I knew it wasn't going to be inexpensive (still much cheaper than new kitchen)....plus we wanted real wood doors instead of the thermofoil doors that we had. I called and made an appointment....they were very responsive and within a day I met their sales manager Daniel. No hard sell...no 2 hr appointment.....he knew what he was doing, showed me the colors that were available and styles. Once he knew we were interested in real wood doors (dark walnut)....He gave us a quote on the spot. No long drawn out process. I let him know upfront that we were in the budget phase, but in 2 months we would proceed with the job.....no hard sells....no 50 phone calls.....he followed up in 60 days and we set the appointment to have the doors measured. The gentlemen came out to measure out doors (1 hr) and gave us an installation date....about 7 weeks out. They came on the date scheduled and worked diligently each day.....The kitchen was a full 5 day install, but the transformation was amazing. The quality of the doors, the hinges, the molding, the real wood kick plate....all the little details that make a huge difference. We had one glitch...and what home improvement project doesn't...2 of the doors came in the wrong size so we had to wait a few weeks for the correct doors to come in.....mistakes happen, but the entire time our kitchen was completely usable. I would without question recommend American Kitchen Refacing to anyone looking to update their kitchen. They know what they are doing, are very upfront about the process, and are respectful to your home and time.

They did excellent work. They were very detailed and clean. They were always on time.

The gentleman (Gary) that came over could not be ruder or more condescending. There was no way my mother and I wanted to do business with him so to spare everyones time we asked him to leave. He didn't even introduce himself before coming in. This is the first time we were looking into refacing cabinets and did not know what the options that were available. He talked down to us about wood vs laminent like we should have somehow known the difference in material, maintenance, and cost. I also didn't know that they only had quartz as the only option for countertops. Every time we asked a question his response was to talk to us like children when trying to explain why our preferences were bad ones. We did not get very far in our consultation before we called it quits but it was all we could handle. I would have called it off earlier but I wanted to give him some time to warm up. That never happened Update 12/7/15 The response to my review from American Kitchen Refacing is an example of the type of service we received that day. Gary was present for less than 10 minutes prior to us asking him to leave. During that time we never discussed our budget nor did he take a single measurement or give us any pricing quotes. The comment that we can't "afford a kitchen" is just like the other rude and condescending things that Gary said to us during his brief visit.

owner came out and in less than 5 minutes gave me an estimate of $10,000.to reface cabinets and countertops. I felt this was very high considering the coupon offered. the company which I did use ended up installing brand new cabinets and countertops for $7000. by the way, I have a very small kitchen.

The team of folks that came in to do the work were the best! They took care to make sure everything was covered and protected, and worked through the project to make our kitchen look brand new! People who come to our house now think we went the 'new cabinets' route. They applied the cabinet faces, installed the new hardware, drawers and doors with expertise. They even installed our door handles that we had purchased on our own, and the final product is far beyond our expectations. Great job!

I talked to them on the phone but something did not felt right about the price so I didn't not get the service and asked for refund.They were straight forward.

100% RUN AWAY FROM THEM!!!Insulting the entire time Gary was in my home... VERY PUSHY.!!!!...RUDE.!!.. OBNOXIOUS !!! It was so bad , I am writing this review.... I never took the time to so this, but had to save others from Gary

Their pricing was very inexpensive.

Gary, who was our salesman gave us everything we wanted in our kitchen. They even built us a new cabinet for our microwave. The company they contract for quartz are very professional. Mike and his brother completed the job in just a few days and left each day leaving the place clean. They answered all of our questions appropriately. The only thing we didn't particularly care for are the pullout drawers they built into one of our existing cabinets. They do feel a little cheap. Other than that, if you are considering refacing your kitchen, we recommend this company. They are very professional and will sell you a product with a lifetime warranty. Can't beat that!

The price quoted was not the actual price

The salesman was very polite and said he did not want to waste my time and would give me his best estimate. Unfortunately his estimate even with the $2000 credit was so far out of my cost that I could not do it. He was very understanding and said thank you and departed. It sounds like it would be a very good job but I cannot afford the cost. He said I would have to contact Angie's List to get my money back which I am doing.

Answered the phone right away and answered all questions. Very polite in explaining what the service was. Though the staff was very nice and honest, the price estimate was outrageous and the deal was misleading in regards to what the costs would end up being. Example pricing should be more clear for varying size of kitchens (we have a VERY small row home kitchen) or example estimates pre-listed as we were expecting to only pay a slightly more, not over $6,000++++ more.

Dan was the sales rep. He showed up on time and provided all details. Mike was the measurer. Both men where extremely professional and answered all my questions. Ray was the installer. The entire job took 4 days. Ray showed up on time everyday, did not make a mess and was done on time. I would recommend American Kitchen Refacing to all my family and friends. Thanks for doing a great job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He walked in and said how much are you looking for this project and I said around 3000. He said he could only change the doors for 3400 and that was considered a door change not a complete reface - the complete reface cost around 6900 with the 2000 off -I got a quote from Home Depot for 5000- he even told me that most of the Angie list big deal customers were dissatisfied with the quotes they gave.

We didn't have a date, but they were very nice and friendly.

The deal was for refacing, but I need full replacement. The provider was prompt and professional in answering my questions, but we are getting a refund for the deal.
