After looking around for a time on our own to purchase a second home in Wildwood Crest my wife and I decided that it was time to consult with a professional. Not knowing any Realtors in Wildwood Crest we looked online and tried to compare the Realtors in the area. We looked through web pages checked online and looked for other reccomendations. They all looked fine but we kept coming back to Cabrera Realty. My wife contacted Cabrera and spoke with Jackie Gafney. By the time I came home she told me that she had found the Realtor that we had to use. Jackie listened to everything my wife had to say about what we were looking for, price point and amenities. In one day Jackie called us back with some properties that could be found online and we could look at since we are about 190 miles away. We went back and forth checking properties for a few days and narrowed our search then set up an appointment to go on a visit to homes. We met Jackie early in the morning and she had a booklet of about 12 homes to check. We toured each home and it felt like she knew exactly what we were looking for (and she did since she took painstaking time to go over everything that we felt was needed). By the end of the day we knew exactly the property that we wanted. Jackie spent pretty much the whole day with us. Once our decision was made, Jackie walked us through the process step by step and even when we were waiting on word from mortgage companies, the sellers, insurance ce companies, etc she would call us to check how we were doing or if we had any questions. By the time we really got into this we felt that not only did we get a Realtor but also a friend. The purchase went through without a hitch due mainly to Jackie's determination. Jackie brought a personal relationship type of atmosphere to a major purchase and not only guided the sale but also gave insight to the island and it amenities. OK by now you should get it because I could go on and on and would highly recommend Cabrera Realty if you will be purchasing a home. Even after the purchase we have spoken with Jackie on stuff we weren't sure of and she has guided us through it. Through this experience we not only have a GREAT Realtor but have a great new friend.
