I contacted Lally Gone and they came out right away to inspect the lally column in my garage that I wanted removed because we kept banging it with the car doors. I had an estimate the same day and we agreed to the price and scheduled the work to be done the following Tuesday. The crew came in and did a beautiful job. Worked very clean. I couldn't tell they were even there except for the fact that my car doors don't have any more new dents! I highly recommend this company. They did exactly what they said they would and did it with precision.

Our garage collapsed with their subcontractors inside. The garage was not properly braced.

I contacted Structural MD regarding craacks along my crawlspace garage and for some assessment of areas in my home that I wanted to knock done for remodeling. They were responsive prior to hiring and upfront about cost and what would occur. George came as scheduled and was polite, hands-on, friendly and thorough. He explained everything thoroughly and answered my questions. StructuralMD states, "Should you need a report please contact us with in 3 business days after inspection to upgrade for an additional $250." I let George know at the appointment that I would be upgrading to a verbal report as it was a lot of information, I also contacted the office within 24 hours to let them know the same. The report was incomplete and missing 2/5 issues that were discussed onsite. Over the course of a month, I contacted Lene Anderson, the operations manager, via email and text at least 3 times asking for an updated report with the missing information and never heard back. Not even a response to say, no we cannot do that. Unfortunate.

We had LallyGone come in and remove a load-bearing wall for us as part of a larger remodel. We knew that there would be a post-required to support not only the new beam, but an existing steel I-beam that terminated in the same spot. When we opened everything up, it became apparent that in order to adequately support both, the post would need to be much larger than we initially thought - if we simply posted the new beam. We got George on Facetime so he could see what was going on and he worked in real-time with his crew to engineer a solution that not only brought the size of the post back in line with everyone's initial expectations, but actually improved upon the existing post which did not have adequate blocking underneath. If you are looking for a one stop shop, LallyGone is it.

We recently completed a project with Lallygone to remove 3 columns from my basement. The entire experience from scheduling a consultation with the engineer to completion of the job was seamless. Chris came out and was great. He spent a fair amount of time looking at the basement and other areas in the home and provided a verbal description of what he recommended. After writing Lallygone, their standard estimate form was received on January 19th. The work to be completed was not entirely straight forward and the estimate was unlcear to me so I asked for clarification. After chasing clarification for several weeks, including writing directly to George Nader, the owner, I finally gave up. I indicated I had no problem moving forward but wanted things clarified to ensure there was no misunderstanding on the scope of work to be completed. Ordinarily, providing additional details would protect the contractor but despite numerous attempts, Lallygone did not provide requested clarification. They did offer if I paid them another $200, they would clarify but for a company that provides "free" estimates, to charge $200 just to clarify in writing seems way out of line. I have used Lalleygone in the past and was planning on moving forward. I just wanted things clarified. Maybe they are just to busy?

It went very well. The job was difficult and unique because our house is old and our house was literally supported upon old tree stumps. I needed the old stumps removed and replace with safe new lally columns. I had several contractors assess our situation before I hired Lallygone. None expressed the same confidence that Lallygone exhibited. Lene told me on the first phone call I made to them,"There is nothing our engineers haven't seen". They responded to all my questions and concerns. When they came to do the work they were on time and very professional. They completed the job and cleaned up the work area well. I feel relieved that my house is now supported on solid lally collumns.

4 years ago we performed a major renovation of the main floor of our house with the intent understanding that some dips in the subfloor would be corrected before a new wooden floor was placed. For 4 years weve been living with the fact that the original contractor never performed his job correctly and we finally decided to call Structural MD to see if anything could be done. George and his foreman Chris are really fantastic. They were able to correct the problem from the basement. The job probably took longer than they expected but that didn't stop them from doing it correctly. They reset a main beam of the house, removed a lally column, shimmed joists and built a retaining wall. The original problem which was deemed cosmetic and not truly structural is now 99% corrected which is something we thought could never be done especially after past mistakes by other contractors. The first floor feels flat and solid and the damage that this sort of intervention could have done was actually minimal (minor crack). I cant say enough about this team and how well they work together. I highly recommend them for any structural home issues.

It went smooth. They came in assessed the situation and informed me I would not need a post. I was hoping I did not need a post because it takes space in garage area making it feel small and look cluttered. On the day work was to be done they showed up early and finished in about 4 hours. Overall pleasant experience.

I met George in 2016 when evaluating structural damage on a home I was under contract to purchase. He was exceptional. Showed up on short notice, was polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. I contacted him again in 2018 to evaluate another home that I purchased, and he cancelled the appointment on three separate occasions. First, he was double-booked, then he had the town name incorrect, and then the dog died. Not a pressing project, so I figured we would catch up at some point in the coming months. Fast forward to the end of 2018, and I provided George's information to my sister. The job started off just fine. When his workers cracked a main waste line, and I arrived to discuss the issue (I knew George from the previous job and my sister is a first time homeowner), George snapped at me, literally screamed in my face, and threatened to pull his entire crew from the work site merely because I wanted to discuss what transpired and how much it would cost my sister in addition to the original quote. Truly unprofessional. Not sure what happened to George, but not the same guy I originally met in 2016.

George Nader showed up eager to learn about the situation as much as he could before giving us an assurance that the contractor's suggestion would work. During the conversation, George also provided the contractor with specs and other instructions based on his expertise. This is the second time we have used StructuralMD. We made both appointments easily online.

Our home inspection found slight bowing in one of the walls of the basement foundation of the house, so we brought StructuralMD out to examine the foundation and determine if the structural integrity of the house was at risk. The tech who came out was very friendly and thorough, and their letter of findings after the inspection was promptly delivered, detailed, and easy to understand. I have already recommended their services to family members and would do so again.

Structural MD inspected my foundation as it had cracks and helped me get a fair deduction for remediation. George Nader and his crew then designed my entire kitchen/bath renovation and removed a load bearing wall and installed a flush beam quickly and for a fair price. These guys are the best in the biz!

George from LallyGone is a very professional architecture engineer. He came to the work site, inspected the house, and provided a reasonable price. His team worked on the particular project, there were three people in the team, they are very capable and efficient. The team cleaned up the work area after they finished the job. We were very satisfied with work done. i will definitely hire the company LallyGone again and will recommend this company to friends.

George Nader, Chief Engineer for LallyGone, LLC conducted a visual inspection of the area around the new beam and the column that exhibited minor hairline cracks in the ceiling. As part of the inspection, he also went to the attic and the basement in order to examine the installation of the new beam and its supporting structure. Based on his observations, I received a letter with his analysis and conclusions.

After calling StructuralMD and confirming that this service was what we needed, an appointment was quickly set up and George (Chief Engineer) showed up on time. He closely inspected the area in question and provided a great deal of detail regarding his findings. George answered every question we had and spent whatever time required to provide additional guidance, suggestions and tips. His inspection confirmed that there were no structural issues, and helped us prepare to hire a contractor to complete the (non-structural) work that we originally sought. He also urged us to contact him again to ask any other questions that might have. A professional outfit with excellent customer service!
