Description of Work: Had them do a 'deep cleaning'....they spent 10 hrs in my house and I had to re-clean everything....they sucked! Then when I called to ask for a refund, Scott the 'manager' stated I could not have one i already got a discount (I was planning on having them come in every other week for 16 weeks) after this debacle, I canceled their services and asked for a refund....was told no. Scott has no clue about customer service....DO NOT HIRE THEM!

+ -1 moreI didn't like them at all. I didn't like the way they cleaned. They were basically in and out. We used them once and we got rid of them. They were polite but they were doing general cleaning. When I want somebody to clean the house, I want them to be clean. They didn't clean the oven. They left sprays in the ovens. They're rushing to get to their next job. I wouldn't recommend them. They wanted to get us in the contract for more money. They charged half. If everything went well, then they wouldn't bill me if I stayed in the contract. I only gave them half. They don't care. They're just doing their job and they're getting out. They don't do anything more or anything less. They want to to try to get as much money from me as possible. I would not use them in the future.
Description of Work: I used Merry Maids for housecleaning.

+ -1 moreTerrible. See details above. I would never recommend to anyone. I am waiting for a call back to discuss with their manager. This is supposed to be "intial" visit where they charge by the hour because they do such a good job. NOT in my house.
Description of Work: This was my initial visit with Merry Maids in Whippany and the service was terrible. The 2 ladies arrived on time but then needed me to walk them back through the house after I had already done so with the manager. When the team leader asked me if she needed to make my bed in the master bedroom I should have known then it was not going to be good. None of the things that supposedly were standard: wiping down pictures on the walls, wiping baseboards and ceiling fans were done until I had to point it out and have them go back through. After they were done for the second time it still was not good. They actually dusted around things on the dressers. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: General but basic cleaning of house every two weeks. No windows - or other extras. Vacuuming, dusting, bathrooms, and beds made.

+ -1 moreMERRY MAIDS GAVE ME A DISCOUNT ON THE ENTIRE JOB, AND ALSO LET ME USE A COUPON I HAD. THEY WORKED QUICKLY AND QUIETLY. THEY DID CUT SOME CORNERS, BUT DID A DECENT JOB OVERALL.
Description of Work: MERRY MAIDS FIRST CAME TO MY HOME TO ASSESS THE AMOUNT OF CLEANING THAT I NEEDED DONE. THEN 3 HOUSE CLEANERS CAME WITH ALL THE CLEANING SUPPLIES NECESSARY FOR THE JOB.
