Trueform Concrete is a custom concrete fabricator servicing both commercial and residential markets. We specialize in kitchen and bath countertops, sinks, table, desk and bar tops, fireplace surrounds and much more. Our goal is to consistently create beautiful and functional handmade concrete products that exceed your expectations. We take great pride in the high quality of our products and our superior customer service. Trueform Concrete works in conjunction with designers, architects, tradesmen, and home owners to help them achieve their design goals. Although concrete is our main medium, we also work hand-in-hand with skilled metal and wood craftsmen to be your one-stop-shop for projects utilizing our concrete. Local projects can be templated and installed by Trueform, whereas projects located outside of the Northeast can be built to meet your specifications and shipped to your project location. Trueform Concrete is dedicated to creating eco-friendly concrete products in order to sustain a healthy and long lasting environment. We have therefore designed our facility and fabrication process to be extremely environmentally conscientious. In addition, we utilize local resources, post-consumer and post-industrial recycled materials, zero VOC sealers, and much more. THE WORST MATERIAL/PRODUCT EVER CREATED. Of the $300K of products/materials we purchased for our gut renovation, this material was BY FAR the WORST(!!!) crap we had the misery of wasting our money on. This is the largest regret of our renovation. The material is more porous than marble. Unless you plan to cover this material completely with another durable material, you should not use it anywhere that you intend to actually place an object on the surface.

Description of Work: They designed and installed both a counter for a bar area as well as a bathroom countertop. Both looked amazing and even a year and a half later still look like brand-new. They were great to work with very professional and very pleasant.

From the very beginning, TrueForm was great.......Nicole even picked me up at the train station when I went to visit their showroom. and when there Working with them was easy, they answered every one of my million questionsre were delays on my end, they never lost patience. And my sink and my counter top are absolutely gorgeous!!!!

As for the team, everyone was very professional and accommodating. The installation crew was neat and took great care while they were in our home. The guys took the time to educate us on sealing, cleaning and caring for the man made surface because even though it is concrete, it is not indestructible. Nicole was wonderful to work with, always pleasant and most importantly honest about timing, pricing and the possibilities of their products. She was on target with every aspect of the job regarding templating and installation.
Description of Work: I used Trueform to dress up a small bathroom and the end result was a great product, done write and a wonderful customer experience. We went with a fully integrated bathroom sink/vanity top with integrated towel bar and some complementing shelves. The color variation from the Acid stain treatment was very cool and the small decorative inlays looked great. We were concerned that the concrete finish wasn’t going to look “custom enough” after spending a lot of effort into making the bathroom very custom to our taste. But the team at Trueform came through with flying colors. The team did a wonderful job guiding us and educating us about the possibilities and limitations since we’ve never gone the concrete route before. For example, their suggestion about adding the distressed edge really did dress it up and complimented the small subtle inlays very well which really did give it a custom look.

I already covered the story in the last paragraph....This company does not stand behind its work...My counterop is a mess...only on one section....the rest is perfect...this one section obviously was not sealed correctly and the company will not stand behind their product...They are inisted that it is my fault and that I damaged it...In hte mean time back spots are appearing everywhere on this section
Description of Work: a custom concrete countertop was created and installed....a first the seams were bad and so they made another date and came to fix them...then black spots appeared on the side of the sink...so several months later ehrn they had another job in the area they came and looked at it and said that someone must have done damage to the top....they said that it was my fault ...This is a second home...and not used very often...and that did,t seem likely...but they said that there was nothing that they would do to rectify the situation...since then black sopts have appeared all over only one section...the other section have remained clear and clean...obviously this section had not been properly sealed....am I am stuck with a messy $10,000.00 countertop...I can't find anyone else who will touch....Nicole..the owner has a real attitude and is very difficult to deal with...There are so many people that do this work that I am so sorry I made a poor choice.

This is an unfair review and is comparable to someone chipping the paint on their car and telling Mercedes that there is something wrong with their product. All of our clients are fully educated on our product and sealer and are informed of what items will eat away at the sealer and what actions will break through or damage it. This client called to tell us that there were spots showing up in one small area near the sink. We assured her that her pieces were all fully sealed and explained that spots just don't appear in concrete and what it means is that something has worn down or damaged the sealer in that area and then the concrete got stained. We tried to work with her to help her understand what products she had used or what had happened to prevent it from happening further, such as an acidic dish soap or an abrasive materials, but she refused to believe it could have been anything she had done. We told her that we would be happy to come and take a look at it for her and assess it to see if we could repair the damage. Since she is about 3.5 hours away, she agreed to have us come out the next time we were in the area since it was not an emergency to her. When we came out, as suspected, she had damaged the sealer and stained the concrete, most likely with an oil. We sanded it down, but could not remove the stains, so we re-sealed the area and reminded her of the proper care and use and things to avoid. If it is continuing to happen, it is only because she is doing or using the same things in that area that did it the first time. As per her review, "the rest is perfect" - it is just the one spot (right near the sink - the most used area of the kitchen), which is no more than a one inch area out of 82 square feet - so common sense should tell you what is going on. We stand behind our products 100% and always make sure to sell it as it is, which is that it is not bulletproof. Nothing is. We educate our clients to ensure that they get the longest life out of our products and sealer. They know to expect that they will develop wear and tear over time, as with anything, and potentially may need spot repairs or re-coats down the road. In situations like this, rather than blame it on our products, it is better to help us understand what is going on and what you are doing or using so that we can help you to correct it if possible and prevent it from happening again. That is how you solve problems.

From start to finish this job went very well. Everyone was professional and answered all our questions...and boy did we have a lot! The finished product was better than I ever expected. The installers were knowledgeable, friendly and treated my home as if it were their own.
