The job came out well, meaning that the sod looks wonderful, but dealing with this company HORRIBLE and the owner was very rude to myself, my husband and my mother. Many times I was not notified when the crew would be showing up until only a couple of hours before they actually showed up, despite trying to reach them several days in advance. They would finally call/email/text me at 6:30am saying that they'd be there at 8am on the same day! Additionally, when we had questions to ask or asked if they could do any small additional bits of work (such as tearing out poison ivy along the fence and the side of the house -- which we were fine with paying extra for), the owner would make a big fuss about it and then finally ended up sending us an invoice charging us for the extra work which they DIDN'T DO, and I know, because I work from home 100% during the day and I am here ALL day, and they never showed up do the work, plus the poison ivy is still there, yet they charged us for "poison ivy removal & disposal" on the invoice that they sent just a couple of days later. There are many other issues I had with them, all of which the owner arrogantly tried to blame on my husband, claiming my husband told him something or that I told him sometime that we never told him, and it was overall just a very stressful and toxic relationship that we had while dealing with this company -- and we are NOT picking people at ALL! But to talk down to us is a horrible practice as a company owner (my husband owns his own company and he we NEVER talk to any of his customers the way that Matt talked to us); plus charging for a service that was never provided -- this is a shady and unethical practice! I'm glad that at least the sod job came out well, as they certainly know how to do actual work, but the people skills are HORRIBLE and unethical and I would NEVER recommend them ANYONE. We were also supposed to have them continue to provide weeding and fertilization treatments on the lawn, but after the horrible experience dealing with them, we told them to just finish the sod job and not to worry about coming back to do any treatments afterwards, as we decided to find someone else to do this, since we were tired of dealing with them and just wanted to be done dealing with this company and its horrible owner. I felt so deceived by all the good reviews that I saw that I almost feel as though they are fake, since I also discussed with several neighbors who had similar experiences as we did...I am just so glad to have the job over and that I do not have to deal with them anymore! BUYER BEWARE!

The job went well and the sod came out looking beautiful, but dealing with the owner and people int he office at this company were HORRIBLE! They were extremely unresponsive and unreliable (cancelled certain days, didn't show up when they said they would, and they even billed us for something that they didn't do!!). The owner was SO RUDE to me, to the point where I wish that I could post a screen shot of an email that he sent to me after I emailed him to voice a concern over something we asked him to do that was not done correctly. He replied back to me, verbatim: " Wow, you really know how to go on and on and on about nothing..." -- and he was NOT trying to be funny. We did not have that kind of rapport, because he was always very rude to me, when I even got a hold of him, which was difficult. I have no idea how these guys got the good reviews they have, because I don't ask for much and I don't complain to people I hire, I'm actually that person that usually gets walked over and just pays for sub-par work and lets it go, because what else am I going to do? Done is done...But also, getting back to the part where they charged us for poison ivy removal that they DID NOT do. He claimed the crews came on a specific date, which was a Thursday, and I happen to work from home 100% of the time, so I am at home ALL day and also have two dogs that bark at everything, and I can assure you that no one came that day, or any other day, to remove the poison ivy, as it was visibly still there after he sent me the invoice for the removal of it in a sum of close to $200. Of course I disputed this invoice and he argued that it was done, but I just never paid it...I'm not an idiot. And that being said, is why I would never hire them again, and if you want to be smart and hire ethical, polite lawn care and yard services people, you'll look elsewhere, because I've never been treated so horribly. We were originally going to use them to do our periodical yard work and applications to the lawn and weeds, but after dealing with them for this sod job, we cancelled all of that, of course. I could go into more detail about how he tried to blame his company's failures on "miscommunication that was my husband's fault" but then again, I don't want to "go on and on and on about nothing" -- LOL. BEWARE OF PARADIGM!

They are excellent.
