I think I have already stated in some detail what my experience was, so I'll be brief here. They kept their word about everything. It has now been at least five weeks, and we had at least two substantial rainfalls and my basement is bone dry. I found them professional,quite knowledgable, and very competent. They also followed up to make sure that I was fully satisfied, or they would come back. Very pleased!

I hired American Eagle for waterproofing my basement as increasing amounts of water were entering my unfinished basement for many years. I should have had this done earlier but I put it off, thinking the price would be exorbitant, which it was not. There were 6-7 men here and everything was completed in one day. The owner Anthony was a true professional. He explained everything in much detail, answered my questions and I got a very good feeling about his integrity and felt good about all his stellar reviews on this site. I also liked that he is a structural engineer by training. I found Jeffrey, his foreman to be easy to work with, and responsive to my specific concerns about my basement. They put in a sophisticated internal French drain system and sump pump. We just had a nice dumping of rain twice already, and just like he promised, the basement is bone dry (and he also removed some black mold that had been starting to form). Very pleased-would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

Our experience with American Eagle Waterproofing was excellent. They were honest in their explanation and description of the work we needed to waterproof our basement. The work was well done, professional and completed exactly as explained to us. I waited to write the review until we had been through several rainstorms. Our basement has never been so dry. American Eagle did a great job waterproofing the basement. Everything was finished in a day and the basement was left clean and tidy. The price was excellent.

American Eagle did a nice job waterproofing my basement. They got the job done when they said they would and did a nice job cleaning up when done. Their price for the job was very competitive compared to other quotes I received and I felt I got very good value for the job performed.

American eagle waterproofing took care of our basement and fit us in so we could get the work done Before placing our house on the market. They did not come back with up charges after finding two large rocks that they had to dig through for our french drain. The crew showed up at the time agreed and finished 71 feet of digging and repair before leaving for the day. I would highly recommend this business

American Eagle promised to take care of the water problem I had in my basement. Their proposal fixed the problem. All the work was done effectively and efficiently and all promises were kept. I am very pleased with what American Eagle did for me. I recommend them without any hesitancy.

What a great job. Owner Anthony is very professional & explains every detail and shows pics. Jeffrey the other owner and his crew do an amazing job including prep & clean up. This is backbreaking work. My husband who did estimating in his career says the price is spot on. Would highly recommend.

This REVIEW is lengthy, but, YOU HAVE A PROBLEM and you want it corrected. If you want to know which way to go, you MUST read my review in full, it is worth your time. I am a retired Master Builder after 38 years. I have worked with literally hundreds of contractors in every phase of construction. I usually do not answer requests for ratings. I avoid the usual they were very nice, polite, dependable, did a good job and cleaned up when finished. That is nothing more than coffee chit-chat; and does not say much of what is really important to put your mind at rest when selecting a contractor. Contrary to my usual adversity to ratings, I feel I should definitely rate this American Eagle Waterproofing and hope that any particular person who has a water problem in their basement would really like to know which direction to go. While probably 30% of water-proofing contractors will do an acceptable job, the question is who is really good, at a fair cost and give you a written guarantee on BOTH labor and the pump they will install (to get rid of any water collected) and how long is this guarantee. The cost is variable because that depends on the size / extent of the work required. The part dealing with expertise, to be clear, is how neatly the work is done and how the quality and effectiveness the work will be. I was integrally involved in construction, and know the physics of foundation walls and how the outside of the foundation wall should be treated during construction. How this is done is the main factor as to how long a basement will be water-free over the years. Water in the basement has been a head-ache for all builders, a problem that no builder wants to deal with later. A builder who does not supervise his mason properly to be sure the outside walls are water-proofed properly is passing off a home that is destined to have a water problem at some time in the future. And here we have American Eagle Waterproofing I had a minor water-problem appear on a home after 5 years of ownership. I interviewed multiple waterproofing experts. I decided to go with American Eagle. As a senior who was in the Military and loved it, I liked the name, a good name, American Eagle. I met one of the owners, Anthony. We spoke a long time, he answered all my questions. I liked what he said because, as a retired builder, I knew that every word and explanation was accurate. I, in essence, was testing Anthony. He was good and patient. He told me that his partner, Jef (one) would be doing the work and supervising his trained men. They came when promised, I watched everything they did. Their work was both very well done to the quality that I expected for my own home. When finished, they left the basement clean. I must also say that I expected and disastrous mess on this job with jack-hammering, removals of concrete, placing stone, mixing cement. They put up plastic encompassing the specific area they were servicing, and to my surprise, there was virtually no mess on anything I had in the basement that was behind their protective barrier. I believe I have said enough. I am a critical and analytical person. There was absolutely nothing negative I could say about this company, they were great. If you might have any questions, call American Eagle and ask them to my ID as a reference.

On the basement, very clean & neat. My only issue is Antony never checked back with me to see if all went well & will be a month tomorrow. I had to initiate the call.

Anthony comes from an engineering background, so he has a wealth of knowledge about how homes are built and how the underlying structure can be affected by water. He also does a fantastic job of explaining this in language a homeowner can easily understand. More importantly, he takes the time to do so without pressuring you to consider any more work than necessary. Jeff, and the rest of the team proved just as easy to work with when it came time to install/repair our existing drainage system. Jeff explained exactly what they were going to do and made a point of checking in throughout the process to ensure I knew what was going on and what they'd discovered during their excavation. The entire job (replacing an existing french drain in half our basement) was finished in one afternoon, including a VERY thorough cleanup. Would absolutely work with Anthony and Jeff again, and highly recommend them.

Anthony was very helpful. Jeff and his team arrived on time and executed very efficiently. The work was completed on time with no problems. This was an outstanding job. I recommend this company highly.

Anthony thoroughly explained the process and was extremely knowledgeable. His team was responsive, completed the job timely and cleaned up completely. This was an expensive job - but well worth the price. Not a drop of water in the basement since the waterproofing was completed.

Sales person was here and we inquired to the sales person if they could put the water drain on the side of the house going to a brook next to us. He said that he would leave that to his foreman. The foreman got here and we asked him if the drain could go to the side of the house and drain into the brook. He said yes. The capsulation work that was done was good no complaints there. Where the foreman decided to put the drain was right in front of our deck and does not flow in to the brook next to our house. He said there were too many roots to go that route on the side of our house going to the brook. If this drain was anywhere else it would be no problem but it is right in front of our deck near the corner. Our oil tank is on the side of our house and anyone who comes and delivers us oil will have to deal with the ice and our grass will be dead in that area. To anyone who is going to have the work done check to see where the drain will be and think if this will be a good place or a bad place. Unfortunately we didn't think about if the position of the drain was good or bad.

I was very pleased with American Eagle Waterproofing. Anthony explained exactly what was needed to prevent future water damage to my wet basement. He answered all my questions in a knowledgeable and thorough fashion. The price he offered was several thousand dollars less than another company offered. Jeffrey and his men installed French drains on three walls and a sump pump in a timely and professional manner. The men even moved storage shelves that were placed along one wall. Items stored in the basement were covered entirely in sheets of plastic. Overall this was a very good experience.

Did a great job. However, and it's a small thing ,used extensions cords to use with the pumps. Can cause a fire and not code regulated. We fixed it ourselves. Would reccommend them to any one though. Did the whole job in one day and were clean and efficient.

I had water/moisture problems/bad smell in an unfinished area of my basement and an entire wall that was basically dry wall over dirt. It was a tricky project in a large area, but I consulted with Anthony and Jeffry and they knew exactly what to do. They built a cinder block wall and also installed an interior perimeter drain system and sump pumps which totally solved the problem. The basement is totally dry now, and no more bad smell. They were very professional, were very patient with answering all of my questions, and finished the job in 3 days. They also did an amazing job with cleanup; they left the place spotless. I totally recommend them to anyone with basement waterproofing issues!
