The guys showed up as scheduled and are very thorough. Shortly after the survey was finalized we needed an update made and they kept their word and came back. Schmidt Surveying provided us with extremely professional, knowledgeable, and considerate service. We spoke with 3 survey companies before deciding - Schmidt was always quick to respond either immediately or in very expedient manner, and were more than happy to entertain our many questions. They had fair pricing, but the best quality is that they went above and beyond with customer service, not just fulfilling the bare minimum of their contract with us. We used Schmidt Surveying for an initial survey of a home we were purchasing and then again for a topographical survey that was required for an addition. My property survey was abit intricate, because my neighbor's fence was found to be on my property. Schmidt Surveying was professional, extremely knowledgeable, and above all, honest, and willing to explain the process to me (a layman). I would highly recommend this Company, because even though there was travelling involved, they are New Jersey Licensed Surveyors. Amazing. Called at least 5 other companies from the Internet, 2 had fax machines, not phones, 2 never called me back, 1 was out of service. Schmidt Surveying picked up on the second ring, sent me an agreement within an hour, and did the work the next day. Andrew Schmidt was very pleasant and professional to deal with. Responded to emails and phone calls promptly. I contacted them on Monday afternoon and they came out the next day at 9am. By Thursday they completed the survey and installed the corner markers. They then emailed me a pdf version of the survey and mailed 3 hard copies with their official seal. Highly recommend Andy and his crew.

It went very well, I needed this done in a hurry in order to meet a meeting deadline. Andrew, the owner, called me back right away and had a crew out the next day. When the building inspector asked for another measurement Andrew added it and sent the file very quickly. I would highly recommend them.

Andy is very professional and responsive, he worked thru the weekend and have his crew to come by on a Saturday. (Because I can't move in to the house unless the town approved my as built survey) He handled all the paper work with the town, showed up when he said he would.
