Better pricing. The way that they present their prices was like a car salesman. I think they were a little bit inflated.

The technician was polite and informative. Quoted for the job and also other potential jobs in the house. On the high side for the other jobs pricing but it was a no pressure estimate.

Luis arrived on time with a van and uniform that had the Water Works identifying insignias. We explained that his company had installed our boiler in 2013 and that their boiler was working fine but steam heat was not rising up to the second and third floors. We explained that PSE+G had arrived earlier and told us the pipes needed to have air "bled out of the pipes" by a plumber. Luis seemed very amused at this explanation and stated "PSE+G doesn't know what their talking about" Luis went to work by first examining our thermostat ,boiler ,and individual radiators. Luis stated that he would examine all the attached gagues on each radiator stating some were beyond repair .He replaced two and gave us his contact number if the rest of the gagues became defective. Luis went out of his way to save my mother as much money as possible by repairing as many existing gagues as he could. My mother asked me to ask for him in the future...She found Luis polite , respectful of her age ,well mannered ,honest , and very concerned about doing his work diligently.

Not good. When he changed the valve and stood up he said I have another leak. The original leak was fixed, yet cause a second leak. It will now cost $500 to replace the kitchen faucet.

Very fast response after initial call. Technician was prompt, professional, courteous, and friendly. Did a great job in a minimal amount of time. My only reservation is the price but not using plumbers that often the price could actually be reasonable. Would strongly recommend this company.

The technician arrived and checked my water heater, he looked at all the fittings and noticed that the leak was inside my water heater and that my heater was 13 years old. He went over options for replacement with me and I opted to upgrade to a 50 gallon unit. He called it in and a second tech brought the new unit. while the first tech waited he cleaned and checked my boiler to prepare for the winter. the 2nd tech showed up with the new unit and everything installed fine. Work was done professional and quickly. My only issue with the service was the cost. I was given the boiler check up for free, but the cost for the water heater install was $1700. After the service was done I called 2 other plumbers on angie's list and both quoted about $1200 for the same water heater. Next time I will try a different plumber first,.

The appointment for the estimate was made expeditiously and the technician was very professional. The reason for not hiring is that he estimate was for $1,495.00 and I am having the work done with the exception of the replacement of the sink valves for $300.00.

The technician arrived, completely checked the system. He stated that the fins needed to be cleaned out and offered the service. I stated that I know how to do it and he was fine. He was not pushy and was completely honest. We will use him again, they are great.

We had Nathaniel come to assist. He looks young but is very professional and knowledgeable. As I can see from other reviews they do let you know of recommendations but they are not pushy at all. I think they just do an overall assessment and then let you know of their recommendations. For example, we were told to have our 40 gallon hot water heater and expansion tank replaced for a price that will be good for 1 year due to high water pressure. We just bought a 1940s house that had only one sole owner who did not upgrade or replace anything in the house so we were not surprised at all on the recommendation.

Jim was very thorough, checked everything mentioned in the contract, and provided proactive maintenance tips along the way. Outstanding service ! Woman in the office continues to be extremely polite and helpful.

Courteous call to say they were coming, arrived on time. Shoe covers on rep's boots. Got the parts, fixed the problem. All done in under 2 hours.

I feel their pricing is high but sometimes you have to pay that much when you call in emergency situations. They also started pushing for me to fix some parts of the toilet. That bothers me. I would rather they fix the current problem I called them for and we can talk about the other jobs after. The bathtub works so I have no other problems.

The service was done by a very helpful, courteous plumber (sorry, I don't recall his name). The person in the office was also very helpful and friendly. The water heater works great!

The woman who answered the office phone and coordinated the immediate service visit was understanding, competent and customer service focused. She was able to schedule a service visit and have the plumber onsite at my home within an hour of my phone call to her. Jim arrived at my home- polite, competent and focused on getting the job done well. He even put shoe covers on as he entered my home. Jim was a pleasure to work with and had the problem isolated and fixed within a very short time period. Thank you for an excellent experience even on a legal holiday!! CP

We called Water Works on Father's Day because our water tank was leaking. The woman answering the phone and scheduling the jobs was very pleasant and up front. They only had one technician working and she could not guarantee that she could send someone that day, and she would not hold it against us if we called another company while we waited to hear back from her. A couple hours later she called to say that a customer cancelled and they would send someone over within an hour. Great customer service already. The technician who came was called Nathan. I was worried because he seemed very young, but once he started to talk I could see he was very knowledgeable. It was determined that we needed a new water heater and he came back the next morning around 10am and completed the job. Nathan was very polite and took time to explain all of our options and make recommendations. There was no pressure to purchase extra things we cannot afford at the moment, i.e. a water softener, but we did decide to sign up for a service plan. Overall, they did a great job and we were very happy with their service.

Wasn't what i expected. Guy arrived on time and i showed him the unit so he could start to check it out. I recently purchased the house and wanted to make sure it was ok as it was the first time we have operated it. He got on his ladder and looked at the unit in the attic for a little bit and then said it looked ok. He never got off the ladder to go over to the unit to check it or any of the moving parts. He then went outside to check the condenser and said that looked ok but the fins needed to be cleaned. He offered to give a separate quote to have that cleaned and also to add locking nuts so people don't steal the Freon to get high... i denied both. I would think the cleaning would be part of an annual maintenance but maybe i am mistaken. I just did it myself with a couple cans of AC cleaner and a hose. Overall it wasn't what i expected and not worth $96. Company is great for Plumping but i cant recommend for this.

Water Works did a great job and I would use again. They responded to my initial request quickly, provided me with a 2 hour window for a service call, they arrived within the window, calling ahead of time. Once onsite they identified and fixed the issue in under 20 minutes, cleaned up and were done. The service tech was very professional as well. I would use them again in the future.

Within 2 phone calls i was able to schedule an estimate for work required and schedule the work. The office personnel were courteous and efficient. Dan, the estimator was the installer. He answered all of my questions questions knowledgeably and patiently. He was thorough, prompt and professional. After the installation, his work space was as clean and organized as was before installation. This was my first experience with Angie' List and one of their contractors. I am completely satisfied. I intend to use Angie's List as well as the contractor for any future needs.

It was good. They are good. I’ve used them before. They did a lot of work in my house. They are a little on the high side on price.

The plumber had to replace Flu pipe. I do not know how 24" of this material could cost $300.00?? I understand there is labor cost involved, but I feel $300.00 is excessive.

I found a special offer on Angie's List for a 50 Gallon Water Heater for $849.00. When I inquired about it, I was told that the unit on sale would not be the equivalent of what we had and would take up to one and a half hours to recover hot water after usage. I said this was not acceptable as the broken water heater would reheat in about 15 minutes. So they quoted me $2,485 for higher BTU's. We felt this was way too high and told them we would continue shopping. We did finally have the same unit they quoted installed for $1,412 by another professional plumber. I note that the offer is no longer available although there were "24 days remaining" on 2/22/2015.

We couldn't of been happier with the service and time that our technician spent with us. He was able to find a solve for the problem and provided other solutions for a long-term fix. He was clean and courteous and super helpful and we would highly recommend them to anyone. We will definitely call on him in the future for any plumbing needs

I though the price was a little bit high but the quality of the service was good. I think he was very helpful and quick. He made the right assessment.

They were okay when it comes to technical things but I'm really upset. They didn't file my permit. They took the money from me and then I had to chase them. And then after that they did it but I had to chase them. Overall, it was a good experience. Overall they've done good but they shouldn't have done that. The quality was good.

My hot water heater broke over the weekend. I called a plumber in the area and they wanted over $1200. to replace my 40 gallon hot water heater with a new one. I then went to AngiesList and noticed that Water Works had a special for $849 for a 50 gallon hot water heater. I called Water Works and asked if they could come down the same day if I purchased the special deal. They said they could and came down that day and they showed up about 2 hours later. They installed a new 50 gallon hot water heater and removed my old heater. They were punctual and professional. The only additional cost was the cost of the building permit which the town requires.
